I’m getting this installed in my truck currently, 2008 68rfe gone through 1 built transmission already. New trans has a built vb & DNJ billet channel plate, sonnax drum, GPZ clutches, triple disk torque converter and keeps eating OD in under 5000 miles. Ditching the trans tuning and builder recommended this kit I’ll keep you guys posted 👍
I always but a transgo kit in almost everything I own. Them , superior and sonnax will give you all the newest up dates. My valve bodys always start with a transgo shift kit.
So just to bump up line pressure you’re pry talk $2,000-$3,000 with dropping the transmission. Not to mention find a reputable shop to do it properly. NOOOOO THANKS. There’s plenty of good 68rfe tuners. Get a revmax valve body/deep pan/thermostat bypass valve and a revmax approved trans tuner and you’ll spend about HALF of that and not have to drop the transmission.
Honestly I was thinking the same thing. I mean, I don't mind pulling the trans and doing all of this work but damn they sure did shit on all tuners at once. If my pump is capable with just tuning, why not just get an approved tuner....this isn't new issues, I feel like by now they have gotten it figured out

That ballooning converter will also take out the engine thrust bearing especially on a Cummins.
