Can you tell me what the story is that is being told in the song? I was in a band that performed southern French dancehall music back in the 1990's, and I was given the lyrics and the tune to sing a song phonetically that has quite a few of the same words as this song you performed here. I was told it was about a bird, and that must be true since the bird chirps in your performance of this song. Any background information would be so appreciated :-) Thank you, Jody

(I disagree, because France is an artificial construct of multiple regional, ethnic and linguistic identities anyway, having little in common except the same school system, official paperwork, traffic systems and police brutality.)
