I rolled a crap ton of these axes to see if I could get a decent tree and the best one I've got so far was %attributes/15% global dmg -> 35% attack speed/20% reduced globe dmg -> 20% cooldown reduction.
@@JayTX Yeah it's not a super rare unique so for this that is definitely the most efficient way. But they were so cheap I just bought all the ilvl 80+ ones that I could and just unlocked them.
i wish there was a "budget" version for 3.23 .... looks awesome and would like to try out an alternative to my 12th time tornado shot in every thinkable iteration :D

The red aura/glow thats bringing all the armour pieces together is actually the Rage being generated from the Kaom's Spirit, its a nice free cosmetic effect so I thought I should go along with the red theme :)
Awesome, have a lot of nostalgia for Ngamahu's Flame since it was the first build I played to endgame way back when. When it comes to the crucible tree, what would be the ideal tree you think? I'm thinking: Added physical Attack speed (not sure what variant is best, frenzy on kill seems ok but does freeing up blood rage really matter?) 15% increased effect of all physical and chaos mods Rampage Cyclone direction is reversed nvm just realized you went over it, crit definitely seems better in the second slot, and rampage might be too rare to try and target farm, been live searching for an axe with it and nothing's showed up in a few days. Definitely gonna commit to crafting and chancing once I get more currency. Also that watcher's eye is sick, how much did you pay for it?

I had the same feeling of nostalgia when I used the axe again even if its not the best unique or even axe these days, I paid 4 divs I think for the 3 mod watchers eye but I'm not using it in my crit version for T16 maps, I think getting the Haste Phasing is the most important mod to ensure your Ascendancy works, and everything else on the Watchers Eye is up to you

@@Jbpennes As long as you have 6-sockets on the weapon and a 6-link you should be fine to switch :), try get a -mana cost on channeling skills somewhere or a thiefs torment

Is there a setup that doesn't use the axe for the dps and instead uses a skill and keeps the same movement speed? I dont wanna say coc but something of that nature lol
I think a Starforge would straight up be a better weapon for the build but I've commuted to the meatballs now. The identity of the build would be slightly different if you were to use a CoC setup since you would need to scale alot of crit chance to make it effective, Jungroan made a build that used Ngamahu's with a Double CoC set-up a few years back, could potentially build on that too
So if I wanted to use a starforge I'd just throw it on? Or what would the gem setup be on the weapon. I've had one for a few weeks and just never thought I'd use it.
@@ItzGilly if youre using a starforge the you would scale phys and not worry about fire, you could look at any of the PoE ninja builds that use cyclone and starforge for an idea of links, you'd also need a source of explode probably the crusader mod on chests
I agree for most cases a showcase should pick-up loot but this characters main purpose was to rush bestiary for high-value red beasts, I rarely stopped for loot when running this strategy, as I mention in the video, you should try build characters to be extremely good at a single purpose rather than a jack of all trades (Palsterons vid goes further into this)
If you watch Palsterons video you'll understand why the character is built the way it is :), I mention in the video that the endgame version will be very different but much slower which changes the identity of the character, if you want this level of speed and clear for endgame you'll need a huge budget and most likely a mageblood
@@JayTX i know which one you are talking about, angry palstreon talking about how other people are playing the game wrong :) i like this char dont get me wrong just wondering why thats all. You can get a tr raider/pathfinder for higher dps and much less investment. This is going fast because of the alt quality cyclone and the ashes of stars right? Taking out ashes of stars its much less speed i think. Cool build but man thats a lot of investment. Edit: tr raider/pf with queen of forest can easily get 300 ms with minimum investment Edit2: looked twice , the clear is also due to the flask explosion so thats even more investment
@@fanfan9748 You can drop both the Ashes and Oriaths and still have extreme speed and clear, my earlier showcase vid for this build uses neither, I'm sure there are a lot of builds that have been done over and over with fast clear on a budget, this is meant to show that new alternatives exist and are viable :)

Yeah as a raider you'll intrinsically be squishy, your main form of defence is evasion/dodge, I'm currently experimenting with ways to make the build more tanky for end-game, can clear t16s now comfortably but a full charge crucible still deletes me
If you wanted to get a barebones off the ground, I think 5 divs would set most of the gear up, around 10 divs would be really comfortable for the build to pickup all the jewels/clusters
Would need some changes since Vengeant Cascade doesn't work like it used to, you would put in the Returning Projectiles support gem into your Ngamahu's Flame (remember it doesnt have to be linked), and build should feel about the same, not league starter friendly if you want to push to red maps, very good for early on to do low tier Atlas strategy

Yeah I think the best way about getting a good crucible tree is to build one on a normal Abyssal Axe and chance to a ngamahu's

I am looking into making an updated version of this at some point, would recommend using Rakiatas Dance and going Cold damage scaling

I leveled the character as an iceshot until I could use my ngamahus, which is around level 56 which I made switch to cyclone

not one piece of loot picked up. never will understand the point in going that fast. you then have to walk around and pick up all the loot

Its pretty squishy and 2m dps is just… anything else apart from fast?
