When build loads up in Path of building it looks messed up regarding mana reserved, maybe he doesnt use some of auras. Fire resistance is 40%, but something is probably missing since there is no way he would play with 40% res all time. It looks like "build" needs serious work, he has HH but didnt invest in in important things. Defences are none. Life pool is in range squishy tornado shot players. Since he is not lvl 97-98 he probably leveled this in few days and didnt invest time in making it more durable.

You can also go slayer with spell suppress with fortify and slayer note that is like 80% spell damage reduction Ps: i dont know if fortify and spell suppress is additive or what but it still a very good damage reduction

i was running my juggernaut with volcanic fissure of snaking , extremely fun although i did end up giving up on it when i hit red maps. Will most likely go back to it as soon as i can afford the equipment.
I dont know if they changed the vulcanic fissure's returning behaviour too. It also just repeated itself in the same zones and didnt return like the molten strike. I'll quickly check if anything has changed.
Just found this video. Have you thought about trying this with a CoC setup? You could have a CoC cyclone setup in chest and another CoC setup in the axe. In the axe the CoC setup from the balls does not need another gem to trigger them. Might be an interesting build to explore.
yeah I was thinking about it. The biggest issue is that all the balls hit at the very same time going out and also when returning. That's not ideal for CoC because of the cooldown. If there were a slight delay between the balls hitting enemies, would be an absolutely amazing weapon for CoC. I'm pretty sure some people tried to work with it, and maybe I'll also try it out in 3.24. All depends on how much time do I have to play POE.
I played a ngamahus flame cyclone raider what feels like 6 or 7 years ago and it was my first build that actually felt op and didnt die to anything and could handle all the bosses back then im curious if this change would make it worth using on a budget again

@@mefi_ I'm trying out a lightning conduit run currently. Did Fuzzy Ducksys Lightning Strike and that wasn't a bad run, tried a siege ballista totem build from PoeGuy but I wasn't so sure about it and did a DD run, DD is solid but kind of boring imo. Other thoughts are perhaps a splitting steel build or maybe try my hand at a golem build as I've only done Srs Guardian for minions. Interesting you suggest Mathil I was told to stay away since mathil makes builds for mathil lol.
...I hate DD, unless it is in a CoC build. But then Volatile Dead is just much-much more fun to play. I have the same feelings about SRS. It is (or was) a great build but It just didn't work for me. Golems are awesome because most of the tree is... very generic. You can do whatever you want with those. Unless you mean the Golems doing the damage. I consider Mathil's builds as a great source of inspiration for my own builds. He makes a duckton of builds each league, sometimes doing some funky stuff. You can just see some skills and interactions in action in his videos, you will have the necessary understand how that particular build works, and then you can make your own twist on it. This is how I ended up with the Energy Blade CoC Inquisitor (Icea Spear / Soulrend) build I played the most. Inspired by Mathil's energy blade video.
@@mefi_ Yeah I really enjoyed that CoC build, kind of want something with some level of regen either HP or ES so I’m not super reliant on flasks or even something with good flask regen. TR isn’t bad at all just can feel kind of clunky to me at times I guess but there’s not doubt it’s a smooth skill. It is one of the things I practiced and might be on the list. But it’s not a build I’m crazy about. I love pops but there hasn’t been a build I’ve been crazy about that has prolif in it. Did a lightning conduit play through yesterday and it feels good damage wise.. But the tree I followed had very few hp nodes, was paper thin by A10 kitava and all my crafts had to be res so not much life on campaign gear.
So now for ubers, how does poison molten strike with this axe sounds? Using the tincture that allowes you to poison with all damage and then doedre's scorn with the tincture mod, chance to apply random hex. (Use the power charge curse limit ring for a lot of curses) That should be a lot of damage really cheap
Sounds great but... If I'd use molten strike that already has ball projectiles it might not worth using the chickenaxe. You could get a much faster weapon with much higher base damage. Or maybe with some str stacking with the brutus splinklers or the replica boots that gives chaos damage per str. I don't know, would need to play with the numbers in POB.
I tried it with nimis, but the returning part is the same so should work yes. With the support gem you loose a lot of damage, but ofcourse the Nimis can be an upgrade later. The returning pro support is still a big damage boost.

I believe people were doing this a few leagues ago when Vengeant Cascade was allowing projectiles to return, I made a guide on a Cyclone Ngamahu Raider that used this interaction, nice to know you can do this with a Nimis instead of sacrificing a gem link and damage loss
The whole point of this video was about the change how it used to be vs now. The explanation part with the drawings. It just used to repeat itself at the same damaging zone instead of actually "returning" like the molten strike. And it was like this in the past 2 leagues (since the Vengeance Cascade leage). And NOW it changed, and it was not documented as far as I know.
I'm working on the build, hopefully I can upload a short showcase video by the end of this week, and then maybe a full build guide 1 week later. I'm thinking about ralakesh boots + the maven tripledamage belt combo with replica farrul and raider for extra smooth cyclone movement speed. After my last Soulrend coc I dont want to spin around with that 150% base speed anymore. I wanna go fast! :D
there are a lot of ways to scale the attack speed to really high numbers with almost any skill onslaught + onslaught effect, frenzy charges, attack speed from passives and jewels, some ascendancy has special stuff like gladiator or berserker ofcourse it helps a lot if tou choose a skill that has high base attack speed like cyclone

just tried out cyclone of tumult on my current character, and it goes above 30 attacks per sec. The regular cyclone is just below 20. A frenzy could be also huge for single target and the AS should be great too. Will try out multiple melee skills to see and feel what could be the best.
The balls are attacks and they are using your weapon damage. So yes, it should work. That's the requirement for a Tincture. An attack that is using your weapon.
The balls got the repeat, but they just repeated at the same location. Vulcanic fiasure did the same thing. Now they return to the location of the trigger. Like molten strike. That's the change.
I have a normal 16:9 aspect ratio monitor (1440p) and I play in windowed mode. You can drag the top and bottom and pull them closer. You will gett better visibility. There is a huge range with the camera zoom, you can find something that works for you.
@@mefi_ The balls scale off weapon, doesn't even come with flat damage. I can see this working well with abyss jewel stacking replica shroud of lightless to make up for weapon low damage, potentially with adorned setup.
I don't think that I can fully understand your question, but the projectiles do not return by default. You have to use the support or a Nimis for that to happen. What changed is the returning projectile's behavior. They don't just repeat at the same place, now they return to the point of the trigger, like Molten Strike for example.

I last used it in Breach league :D I'm planning using it with either a Berserker or a Raider. For maximum / optimal trigger rate you need a ton of attack speed, like above 30 / sec.
It should be balanced between trigger rate and the damage itself. Accuracy stacking with Jugg can be an option yes, absolutely. How good would it be, I don't know. And now that I'm thinking about this build, another skill that could help with the trigger rate is rage vortex of berserking. That would add triggers on top of your chosen skill's hit rate, and it would be much-much easier to hit the maximum trigger rate for the Molten Burst hmmm... So 6 socket (not linked) chicken axe with supports, main 6L skill in chest, and another 4L for the rage vortex could work. The Axe itself doesn't care what causes a hit (if it comes from your weapon).
This behavior has been known since returning projectiles was a thing. Someone made a video for the super Saiyan cyclone raider back in crucible that took advantage of the returning proj on the meatball spinner express axe 😂
The way it returns has changed. It just used to "repeat itself at the same place where it landed" and now it actually returns. I tried it out in Crucible league and in tota too. This behavior changed in this patch. The whole video is about this change, and not that return proj works with the molten burst proc.
@@mefi_ i'm quite sure nimis molten strike did return the balls to the point of origin, rather than 'repeat in spot' in crucible. It's probably related to projectile speed stat being not enough
I'm not sure about that either. :D But... I'm positive that with a cyclone the chickenaxe will be able to clear somewhat juiced t16s, and non-uber pinnacle bosses on a lower / mid budget. The build slowly but surely started to feel good, and can also be very tanky.

I love this style build, but every time I go cyclone my character just falls over to spells from off screen.
I started a Raider and with 100% spell suppress I hope that will not be the case. We will see.

The problem is that it's still a weapon with zdps.
I'll try it anyway and see how far can I push it.
