If you use a wheel cleaner that isn’t diluted already - like Adam’s or Brake Buster - you can do the ratio how you like and can just spray and rinse and avoid scrubbing you just have to make sure to roll the tires to get both sides. I use Auto Magic Wheel magic or acid. But sometimes you gotta scrub if the wheel is bad 🤷♂️

Thanks Carlos another great video. I'm a weekend warrior and learn a. lot from you. I use Superior Products aluminum brightener which is an acid cleaner and it works great for $12 a gallon diluted 4 to 1. Also instead of using a brush lately I've been using a turbo nozzle on the Tire and wheel after using dark Fury and I can't tell any difference and it cuts the time and labor immensely

Carlos, I agree with you, use an acid once or twice a year, no more. I only rinse the wheel & tire if wheel is hot or warm to touch. If you do not have a dedicated tire cleaner, I use Comet Bath cleanser with a stiff brush. Back in the day when white walls were popular, it would clean them fantastic. And Comet, still about a $1 (US).

I wish I had access to pressure washer.. wow! I love using an acid wheel cleaner as well. I buy Meguiar's Wheel Brightener by the gallon, which lasts me 2 years because I dilute it. I really like that wheel brush you use. Gotta check it out.

Aren't you afraid of damaging the wheels wit acid please explain.
not afraid, just have to practice enough with acid to know your boundaries. plus, we follow it up with a neutral cleaner to balance out the acid. and once we wash the vehicle , the soap neutralizes everything

The one time I used wheel acid, it badly rusted the rotor hats. Never again.
