Where’s this spot located in Jax?
I've noticed in a few videos the gnats and mosquitos have been killer for you, if you have a typical outfit for fishing I recommend spraying it with permethrin to help. Lasts a few washes/times getting it wet and it has helped when I've been fishing in the marshes around Jax.
Awesome! Thanks! I’m very anti anything that has unnatural chemicals, especially if can be absorbed through the skin. Most times i use no type of repellent - The reason you always see me just get eaten up😅 I’ll look up the permethrin though. Thanks again!👊
@VISUAL-LY totally get that, you spray this on clothes while not wearing them and once fully dry it is not absorbable and is all set for like 4 or 5 light washes typically. Used it while backpacking in the woods and such.

That's crazy. Here where I'm at we need to fish different water to get cat or flounder. Fresh water and salt water.
These are saltwater catfish, not as good to eat as the freshwater species. And their spins can really hurt you bad if they stick you! They were fun to catch though! Thanks for visiting the channel!🤙
That's why I smoke cigs when I fish n jax. The nats are insane. Or make a fire from palm fronds n stuff. It's all over.

@@VISUAL-LY As a Jacksonville 5 generation local fisherman, thank you for at least not posting and saying the names of these places. I do however disagree with you showing everyone these once hidden gems. It's gotten way too crowded here that I have decided to move sadly.
@@LF12468 doing my best to not reveal anyone’s “secret spot”, especially going forward. Unfortunately thousands of people are moving to FL daily, it’s only going to get worst. Heck, we’re planning to move somewhere to get away and have some acreage ourselves😅
@@VISUAL-LY I remember as a child when the Jaguars NFL franchise came here. The news was saying how great it was for the city. Deep down I knew that was the beginning of the end of my city. It saddens me to leave this area really, but it is very overpopulated with very rude outsiders that have zero respect for the locals. You are wise to leave also.
