Truly a better way to filet. I had been using an older, traditional method until I ran into your sheepshead video a few months back. The amount of meat that you can save by using the knife point method makes all the difference in the world. I use this same method on both fresh and saltwater fish now. Thank you!
I thought there was something you had to remove like in the puffa fish. I tasted this fish when I was in Jamaica. It was the best fish I ever had. Most people are told not to eat it at all.
Not sure why my guide wouldn't let me keep any or just one and they were small 27", said you will die. Don't understand how it is different then their other members Northern and Musky. But for sure I would of used the head for a mount but I had a bad guide release everything. If I say I want it, should be game over.
As long as you don’t eat it everyday, I think you’re safe from mercury poisoning. Damn, guys bled that thing very well…. Or was it just white without bleeding?
If they weigh over a certain amount he said if it weighs more than 50 pounds that’s when you should avoid consuming cause it will make you sick than! The one he had is perfect for human consumption!
Ummm isn't a knife supposed to be if it isn't a butter knife or a knife not used for cutting? Especially if your making a tutorial. He probably sharpens it before he cleans his catch. Like you should. If you can't get you knife sharp as such, you need to practice. You get hurt with dull knifes.
@@Speedoflynn What are you using to sharpen them with? If its a stone, are you doing it correctly? Is your angle right? Are you stropping also? You can get almost any knife that sharp with just a stone and stropping. I assure you. Once you get the technique down, you'll want to sharpen every knife in your house. Once i got it down, i started sharpening all my friends pocket knives.
