I'm fairly sure the reason I have always loved Mark and GYC is what Mr. Curtis loves. I learn something about MOPARS every episode, useless for me and yet I love it and always have. I grew up loving the Challenger but as I have aged I think my dream car would be a Road Runner. All the MOPARS are special and Mark brings them to life, keep on Mark handing that down to grandkids...phew that is awesome.
I'm growing to love this show, and I'm not a Mopar guy at all.
HOW does this channel not have more subs?!!! Amazing work!
love the Barracuda. It was my One that got away. Let the 1970 live Forever in History/
I remember watching Graveyard cars on TV several years ago and there was a lot of arguing, name calling and all around nastiness. Thought I was watching the Tuetul's at Orange Choppers, they built beautiful Bikes but dang. Now it is totally different and I enjoy watching this show. These guys are great and know what they are doing. I love Mopars so this is a great show.
Great show,love mopar stuff.l had a 57 4door pillarless 318 when l was 19.From Ozzieland....
I'm 59 been turning wrenches as far back as I can remember civilian and 11 in the USN, grew up with Mopars and Fords and every time I watch GYC its like I'm back in the classroom with the best most dedicated teachers!
Good to see these cars from the pasted come back, so nice 🙂🙂❤️
*Great show! Top Notch! I'm looking forward to the series you'll be doing on the most spectacular, unsurpassed vehicle of the universe - the 1965 - 1969 Chevy Corvair! Yippee!*
yes!
nice ride...
Approximately how many mils thickness do you end up when the paint is finsihed?
Why does Dougie want to kill me? It's right there on his shirt! 😂Yeah, I'm a Cliff!
27:58 LOOK HOW COOL THAT VW BUG WOODY IS!!!!!!
Mark: are we ready freddie?
Dougie: Sigh
Mark I had a six cylinder Cuda slant six . I had it rebored with pop up pistons head polished and a eight fifty holly carburetor. Had header with three inch diameter tail pipe with the old truster exhaust. It came with four speed shifter. I had four forty that couldn’t stay up with me in eight track . If you ever build what I did you won’t believe me until you do it. Oh yeah I had a cam also positive rear. SEMPER FIDELIS
To all the ghouls and the rest of team, continue to bring kick ass mopars
i love MARK he is the BEST !! his daughter is a lucky woman ,,to have him as a dad !!!
You're right I wish he was my dad.... Don't get me wrong I love my dad.... But having mark sure would be cool fixing up all those cars....
That QQ1 sure goes on light. I have a '68 Fury coupe w/a 440 in QQ1. I think it's kina a uncommon color maybe.
The light green 'Cuda's color is so buttery looking under shop lights. And the '70 Charger in Turbine bronze with black int. & white stripe looks especially good in the Oregon sunshine. Love the big loop front bumper os the '70.
At 28:38 "...it's a one man system..." Geeze! I've been doing a one man system since 1968. It's called bleeder hose in a bottle of brake fluid. Where you guys been? No offence meant, it just came out that way. 😁
Hey Mark why don't you and Will tint the sealer with blue pigment so you don't have to Hog on 8 coats of transparent metallic? Cheers !
👍
??source for 86 pic up roof ? Thanks
Love marks t shirts
I'd like to get a 1970 Plymouth Satellite Sport tribute car and totally upgrade it to a modern versioned restomod type car. And see how it'd turn out. LOL.
Doug, the distributor will always be right if you set it with the Crank dot up, and the camshaft gear dot up top, not lined up (dot to dot)..dot to dot will always be 180* out..
1:33 - Well, Yippee ki-yay, GYC!
So I guess it's OK to use the Cuda fender tag on the Gran Coupe and make a Cuda tribute out of it and not have issues with registering it and then reselling it and I suppose the DMV would make an amendment to the title/registration so as not to resell in the future as a real Cuda. Just curious about all that.
Ummm. Where's the Cuda???
Where are my Pants
They do that alot..they repost old videos and title it different and you wont see the car that's in the title.Makes no sense but they trick you into watching older shows.
Poor Dougie
Hi .
Mark. Please don't cut back on your dancing, because some dumb butts don't like it. Why should us intelligent people suffer because of they don't understand your humor. You are the funniest damn human on Earth! You don't even have to try to be funny, you just are naturally hilarious! Your facial expressions alone crack me up! I'm not stroking your ego. Well, umm, maybe a little bit.
I just subscribed because of Mark's dancing.
Where’s the Yellow Cuda ???
The white stripe is has a kink in the middle.
That's not a kink. It's just angles from the center out.
So happy Darren and Josh are no longer part of the team. The shows are much more enjoyable now especially without Darren
Subliem!!!
MightyVac.......one man vacuum bleeding....Harbor Freight.......no expensive pressure bleeding equipment required.
I hate being lied to!!!! I hate being made a fool, so I guess I hate being fooled. You posted a Cuda, but simply retitled an older video............... You lied to me, you fooled me..!!!
He is getting lazy and repackaging old video. Let's see some new stuff, Mark.
@@harveyezell7678 Mark probably has little, or more likely NOTHING to do with it.
It’s @28 minutes!
Probably a bit late and I haven’t surfed all the comments but I’ll say it anyway….It was $8,000,000
Haha 😂
it gets to a point when a perfectly good car becomes a "parts car" ... you spend $60,000 to have a car that's worth $50,000 ???
If all you think about is money and if a car won’t make you a profit then it’s not worth owning this probably isn’t the show for you. If people only had GYC restore vintage mopars that would net them a financial profit after the cost of the restoration, GYC wouldn’t exist as a show or business because there are only a few hundred of those cars in existence and most are already restored or nice survivors that don’t need restored. In this case assume you’re talking about the 383 4 speed 68’ Roadrunner? I make that assumption because all the other cars in this episode are worth well into the 6 figures once restored. If that’s the case your numbers are a little low….a full OE restoration by GYC of a clean, rust free survivor car that runs and drives would be more than $60k. Honestly just having the body and paint done on a car would be close to that number. That said the $50k value number is also low. Even a “fairly common” car like that 68’ Roadrunner is going to be worth well over $80k after a complete restoration by GYC. Granted it still doesn’t make financial sense….on that car….to do the full restoration. But they’ve owned the car since new and the history with it means enough to them they don’t mind spending money they won’t get back to have the car they’ve had for over 50 years be better than new and ready to be driven and enjoyed for decades to come. 98% of 67-72 Mopars that still exist wouldn’t be financially worth restoring….the only ones that are are the ones that are exceedingly rare and the price to buy just the wrecked or rusted out shell of one of those cars is $100k plus before a $120-150k restoration (that’s assuming you have a nearly complete drivetrain for the car). In those cases the cars are financially worth restoring but are not within the budget of a lot of folks who could swing the cost of restoring what they already have or taking a more mundane model and having it built up as a GYD tribute car. Next time you’re at a classic car show with a few hundred cars or more in attendance walk around and ask owners if they sold their car today if they think they would make money vs what they’ve spent on buying the car and costs over the time they’ve owned it. If more than 1 in 50 of them tell you yes and give reasonable figures (not pipe dream pricing) I would be absolutely shocked.
Don't forget the roadrunner keychain. (Beep beepupyour a,,)
Pouring any paint from a 4 litre can into anything and spilling it all down the side of the can and onto the bench?? Amateur.
obviously they aren't professional painters -- 3 coats and clear??? Maaco can do one coat with no clear and its out the same day...
Maaco: the true professionals. Their $99 paint jobs are the best!
Great cars, but bad editing format almost feels like sad stories, elevator music, more cars less talk
WHERES THE CUDA IN THE PIC MARK ?????????????? :-( FALSE ADVERTISING 😞
Mark?
Allysa pretty as ever but I think she needs to push away from the dinner table a bit sooner.
I thought Western cars didn't rust, or at least rust as bad as Northeast or Midwest cars.
They don't rust as bad at all. The ones by the coast rust more because of all the rain, but you go east just a few miles and most are minty! Have bought cars/part from there back to Maine.
To all the ghouls and the rest of team, continue to bring kick ass mopars
