It is crazy to think this is the first time since freakin' 1979 (their first year as the Seibu Lions) they finished dead last. It is amazing to see how the team had sustained their success during that 40+ -year stretch, finishing in the bottom three eight out of those 43 seasons. Alas, all good things must come to an end.
Excellent video! As a Lions fan, it was a tough season. Another problem was the lack of good Latin American players. They need to do more scouting in that area, rather than bringing in more useless American minor leaguers.
Thank you man, for this content Hoping they will get back on their feet again next season, i have been looking forward to our pitcher to step up their game
Tough year for Seibu. Thought they'd finish 5th but then Nippon-Ham has overtaken them suddenly in the last few games. The Hawks has undergone regression as well and tons of injuries. Crazy to think these two teams used to face each other in the 2018 & 2019 Climax Series finals but finish B-class this season.
so not only did they pull a reverse orix they also pulled a reverse yakult at the same time (even thought its the same thing, which is instead of worst to first its first to worse) but anyway good video, it would be intresting to see a top 5 or top 10 video about the biggest one sided score margins in the japan series like in 2005 where chiba swept hanshin and held them back to only 4 runs while scoring 33 runs and also hanshin scored no home runs and suprisingly hanshin was the best team in the central league
Do NPB teams 2022 free agent signings and new additions and of course players that leave the team. Thank you. Specially for PL that is my favorite league.

Of course when I start following them closely everything goes to shit, typical

So true dude
You could say their window has closed, and they are in a rebuild now since guys like akiyama, kikuchi, and asamura are gone
And they now are the worst team in Japan
It is hard to rebuild
