My first reaction to the sugano deal was how much of a steal it feels like.. and why can't the jays do this 😭 glad he signed this time around but part of me wishes his first attempt was successful to truly showcase his skills
I have been curious about his first attempt. Did he decline an offer because it wasn't good enough or did things just not work out because of the COVID shutdown?
Aoyagi would have a hard time waiting for a MLB team to sign him, because I believe a starting pitcher with sidearm or submarine pitch is something exclusive to Japan. Most importantly, Aoyagi’s unique pitching style is the mix of sidearm and submarine.
Makita years ago was not able to live up with the submarine hype. Makita's versatility helped him to earn a bullpen spot in the Padres roster. I am not sure how much Aoyagi is compatible to a bullpen spot or he is even willing to do so
@@tatsuyaarai6029 if he is willing to go be a bullpen piece he should be ok. Tyler Rogers has made a great career as a side armer coming out of the bullpen.
Thanks for keeping us up to date 🙏 mlb network only talks about Sasaki
Underrated channel. Love you content fr
Roki, shohei, yoshi, Snell, Glasnow…. That’s one hell of a rotation

@@jykim3604 honestly no idea, I think it may be a mix of it all, from the shut down, to the lack of time to discuss with how the posting system is..
As always, great timely post and more of why this is a great channel. Thank you!
Appreciate the new mic/mixing.
Legendary stuff as always!
Super fun video! Thanks for posting

Is there anyway to contact you, I am interested in an interview for WBAL Radio home of the Baltimore Orioles for more information on Sugano. Thanks
I would love for Ogasawara to go to the 'stros. Josh Miller would definitley help improve Oga's pitching.
Aoyagi changed his number between '22 and '23 and immediately fell off. Coincidence? I think not!
Sugano is going to get lit up! Typical cheap Orioles move.
