Kael'thas was my favourite hero to climb. Good memories I have with him

Convection feels to me like the canonic way to play kael'thas. You truly feel the mana addiction, having to constantly back for more. xD Also greed for power.
That fight with Yrel not dying. So crazy!
Dota 1 (Warcraft III) used Kael'thas model as Invoker - hence Kael'thas and Invoker are one and the same. Kael'thas IS the Invoker, not just a version of it.
Kael'thas is wc3 blood mage type hero. Invoker was based on blood mage. So yeah, Invoker is based on Kael'thas and HotS Kael'thas is based on original wc3 hero.
Sign of life for HOTS? What? Where? I absolutely love this game. Not the best moba, but definitely my favorite. Such a shame that it did not get the love it deserved.
They pushed out a full patch (Sept i think?) with a lot of bug fixes and some slight balancing. 1.5 years after the announcement. It's not a lot but it's way more than nothing

I've only heard stories of invoker, but he seems like the next level to any character. Would be one of the reasons to play dota for me. They just tried to copy it in league too.
If you ever want to experience invoker without playing dota, magicka nails the mechanic well.
The way invoker works is he essentially, instead of normal skills you mix the 3 verdant spheres and get a spell depending on the combination. So QWE gives you 1 spell and EEE gives you another. Order does not matter (at least for modern invoker) so WEE gives you the same spell as EWE.
Another thing is you can only keep 2 spells at a time so the older spell gets cycled out for the new one

Has Blizz done something with HotS lately with so many new videos about it? HotS is the Blizz game I personally would love to see brought back to full support/dev instead of wasting so many resources on D4 that is fundamentally worse than even D2
Take this with a pinch of salt, but since Microsoft bought out Blizzard, a part of what's left of the HotS community is very hopeful active developement will resume.
@@minimal49 Yeah, AoE2 is a great example of M$ doing an old franchise justice. But they also have a really really bad habit of killing off projects even before they fail (pretty much what Activision did to HotS) if they don't meet their internal goals, no matter how good or popular the technology/product was

I was wondering if stasis stopped stacking, like gorge targets getting out early when stitches is in stasis.

Well, Samuro is a PA
completely wrong. Samuro is much more similar to Phantom lancer or Naga siren. PA is known for her highest possible single target damage output in the game and huge evasion. Not for invisibility not to mention that she doesn't even have illusions. HoTS Samuro doesn't really deal a lot of burst damage and needs to stay near his target contantly to dish out big dps. however his defininf trait isn't his damage output but strong mobility and ability to confuse enemies. That's why he is much more similar to PL

I know Dota is older than Hots, but technically Dota created most of their heroes based upon Warcraft characters back in the day, so who is a version of who? Lol

Kaelthas is not even close to Invoker. One is a one key one ability spammer, the other is for pianists. Not the same
You should try lol and dota to see how shitty their mechanics are and how well thought through hots is.
bro, you know that Grubby plays every single one of those games? and he admitted that every single one of those has it's ups and downs and is very good in it's own way.
Очень обидно, при все уважении к Grubby, что любимый стример по Hots теряет свой навык в этой игре( да, она не актуальна, но дота2 убила скилл твоей игры😢 как не печально. Учился на своих стримах играть, обожал разборы героев, билды и прочее. А сейчас, только ради веселья. Конечно актуальнее играть в доту 2 и LoL, но все же. Кумир, поднявший такие игры как Hots и wc3....жаль твои старания 😢 и очень жаль что Близзард не хотят заниматься hots😢
