Hey! Thanks to you, yesterday I've found courage to install this game and try multiplayer. I am 34 and this was my first ever strategy multiplayer experience! I managed to win 7 out of 10 placement games and it felt really good. Thank you! Maybe someday I'll become brave enough to venture into Bronze League Heroes territory xd
You won 7 out of 10? That would make your mmr rather high since the first 10 games puts you againts some of the best players in the game if you are winning every match. I'm 1200 mmr and i hardly ever get a player that that is ranking, since most people lose a lot at first, since they are noobs and start with a mmr of 100 to 500 after its all said and done
@@brent-z3l Surprisingly, I got less than 500 which was disappointing.
I did 7 out of 10 too and started 600 MMR, next day 1000 and then 1200.
@@aiugiamos3057 YEAH ITS NOT HARD, HELL YOU CAN REACH 1K MMR JUST BUILDING NOHTING BUT ASSUALT MODE SNIPERS. I WENT ALL TEH WAY UP TO 1700 BUILDING 100 PERCENT MARKSMEN
There is also solo vs AI, if you want.
I just got over 1000 mmr today and I feel like 700 of those is literally your excellent commentary and explaining the way you think about the situation on the battlefield. Thank you again for introducing me to this game

haha yes me too. i won some matches with card + upgrade sledege range and all the other upgrades and was crazy but probably my opponent just made lots of mistakes haha
Nah, I started playing this a while ago and they are still among my favorite units. I am under no illusion that they are all that great, but I think they are just fun ^^
I love armored, regenerating tanks when they work, but electromag :(
I love how all players have exactly the same strategy development milestones :D
Next up: The Wasp gaming :D

Sledges are still good in some situations. Excellent chaff clear. But with rage and EM rounds they can also be a decent counter to storms. I think rage is more useful than upg range, especially agaisnt an opponent that uses a lot of long range units.
In my opinion they are the best tank, and more useful than sabertooths.
I can’t stop playing this game thanks to Grubby. I feel like I’m off to a decent start with the help of these videos. Maybe 7 hours played and I’m up to 650+ mmr. I’m sure that’s still hella low but I keep on going up.

you can micro the mobile beacon a bit more and select all of the crawlers but the 3-6 in the very front. This will cause a few of them to spread out forward as well as the guys that go side to side and can cause extra volley of missed stormcaller shots.

the scorpion card would have been a great pic, allowing you to spam lvl2 scorpions pushing and tanking the front line

I hope Mechabellum's soundtrack getting copyright striked is some random scam company and not the devs themselves.
the song is called "the battle" by silverhoof, and its an auto-generated notice by youtube's audio monitoring algo. tldr: owner allows its use, but if they so decide to strike everybody using it, then they can. (i have the same copyright notice on a mecha video, thats where i pulled this from). Safer to just avoid the music than deal with a potential strike. The likelihood of this happening is next to 0, due to stuff like creative commons license or using it in a transformative way (ie, his voice being over the song) that covers the legality of it, but why bother!
also slight edit: checked a few more, some of the other songs are Fantastic Cinematic Atmospheric Trailer by EDrecords
But not to worry for your youtube favorites, these things are usually caught when youtube processes the video and has an audio scrubber tool that erases it or replaces it!
Mechabellum music gets coright striked? That is REALLY weird, isn't it proprietary? Are they pulling a Nintendo?
its called "the battle" by silverhoof, its copyrighted but the owner allows its use on youtube. (this comes directly from a copyright notice on a video of mine). However this does mean at any point the owner could decide to strike you, and if you have 3+ videos your channel goes buh bye if the claim goes through.

@@ImmortalGeorgeGaming You can withdraw authorization and it counts as a strike? This sounds like a REALLY abusive policy.
@@Tentacl im not entirely sure of the legality, but other countries dont have the same laws as the USA, such as japan where they dont have fair use. In the USA once you issue a CC or CC0 cannot be revoked, but it doesnt mean they cant decide to be a dick and do it anyway (the strike claim, i mean) This leaves the youtuber having to deal with the backblow while they, the dick company, get off scottfree and its up to the youtuber to contact youtube to get their account strikes taken back. During this time they get 0 revenue and could even result in a channel deletion. Its super scummy, but is possible.

Didn't watch the video yet, but what I already can say: the next new unit (Tarantula) will also be anti Sledgehammer, so don't rely on them too heavily.

Going anti-air is the number one noob decision in Mechabellum. For example MUSTANG anti-air doesn't do sh*t against artillery or wasps, and when there is both of it, anti-air shoots down only some artillery rockets but not one single wasp and it doesn't even scratch the paint of phoenix, wraiths or overlords, typhoons are as bad as mustangs but more expensive, so they are even worse. The anti-air rockets of forteess are abysmal, same with typhoon anti-air rockets. When you start to counter, you start to lose. Focus on one attack side and stay aggressive so the enemy has to start countering and losing.
