Kiwandi Inspired Quilting, We Begin First Row & Batting, All Scraps! Part 2

I call this Kiwandi 'Inspired' as I believe most authentic pieces are created
within the culture they originated. That is my opinion and my way of respecting the origin of this beautiful art.
We begin with choosing our fabrics, and sew on piece by piece as we establish our first row. I show you how to tuck in the batting. I bring
step by step to begin your Kiwandi project.
All you need are scrap fabrics, a table linen and needle and thread.

Oh, I'm so happy to hear your creating! Is it easy to find scraps in Australia....do they have many thrift shops? I'd love to hear what its like there!
