Not to forget the nearby twin city Chongqing, the largest city population in China. Also, as Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan, not far away is western part of Sichuan 川西which is stunningly beautiful with all the mountains, rivers, grasslands, lakes, etc.
Are you back in China!? I'm applying for my Z visa to finally get back to Qingdao where I spent four years before the pandemic. Fingers are crossed that it goes as usual. Love your vids!
I love your vlogs! Aside from enjoying the two of you detailing your travels, they remind me of my various adventures in China. And I really think Chengdu is the best and coolest city in China .
You guys are STILL in China! I thought you left for good or for a while. Keep growing and keep producing this awesome touristy stuff. I'm very political and CLOSELY watch the other English bloggers for REAL news but need to wind down with the bright and cheery stuff that you both produce. Unfortunately, the world is on fire, so your heartwarming pieces are fun and instill a necessary calm and normalcy and above all, DECENCY.
Please do enjoy the life in China. I think it is peace, safe, cheap , harmony and beautiful. I am your subscriber from HK but I have never been to as many cities in China as you. When I am gonna to retire in ten years, I may live in Shenzhen. Many thanks !!!!
SiChuan province received the biggest amount of financial supports from centrial government.accually chendu city spent money from other province to build
Cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen and Guangzhou have developed into modern cities, while cities such as Xi 'an and Chengdu have retained more Chinese traditions.
@@Nicofilms Yes, too many, opening a coffee shop is not a cool thing anymore in China, I may say it's a being-cool paradox when too many people do the same cool thing, this thing becomes uncool, actually, my wife used to run a small coffee shop for 4 years in Chengdu, we finally lost about 350K Yuan on it, to be honest, it's not a good business, although the coffee consumption per capita has been fast-growing in China, especially in Chengdu, the shop number is even growing faster...it's getting very competitive in every aspect including the coffee quality, interior design, marketing, good for customers, bad for business, nowadays my wife and I still enjoy coffee every day and explore new shops in the old neighborhoods time to time, we are excited to see nice shops, and sometimes we even brainstorm what's the trend of this business, but we will never open a own one anymore.
@@junliu6108 Yeah I totally understand what you mean. I'm sorry to hear that, I bet it was very competitive. With so many around I doubt many of them make much money. Glad to hear you can still enjoy them. Sometimes you need to make mistakes in life to help shape your future.
50 yuan can drink a cup of coffee and eat some snacks in the coffee shop, people can chat about gossip news, 500 yuan in the tea house can only drink very ordinary tea, people talk business there ~~ so I choose to drink coffee.
there are so many coolest cities outside china that we want to see too... you can help us and introduce? also please let us know the good food....... this is most important.
The problem is in the US many are gang graffiti in the public area over public signs and private walls. China is different. As long as the owner of the wall has agreed to the graffiti, then there is not much issues with them. Some of the European cities are good places to visit because of food and historical significance. But each Chinese city is uniquely different. You can stay a couple days in each city and that would take you months. There are so much to see in each city from Mongolia to Xingjian to Xian to Chengdu to Shenzhen to see the Mongolia steppe, enjoy whole lamb meal and to see the terracotta warriors and panda to space age technology. Just curious do they still need covid test to enter China?
A negative test done within 48 hours of boarding is required I believe. The airlines no longer check for a negative test but on entry to China you have to declare that you have tested negative within 48 hours of boarding.
The lack of interest in China's development in the west can be seen in the number of subscriptions and video views on the channel. Just look at the tens of millions of views on youtube, i don't know why
grumpy bastard.😵💫🙉 School drawing display outside the walkways... ✍️💯...is hard work. ..both deserve the honourary from the government...if I'am ..will surely gladly give you one ⭐⭐
Chengdu air quality is disgusting, have been here for almost a month and haven’t seen the sun a single day! It’s always that grey yellowish haze or smoke that doesn’t let the sun shines
Chengdu is a very slow-paced city and the people living there have a high sense of well-being.
Got to give credit where credit is due, Jack's Chinese language skills have improved tremendously.
Chengdu is a very leisurely city with a rich culinary culture, and its people are very hospitable.
I want to live in china 💟 i love china so much

Wait I thought you guys were leaving China. Glad you are staying. Keep the cool vids coming!
They have already left, and the new videos were filmed before they left.
They will be back. The man took a HSK text book in his leaving China luggage.
I Love Chengdu. Each place in Chengdu has its own unique cuisine, and you can explore it to your heart's content by taking the subway🎉
Loved the aesthetics! ❤ Also how friendly the people you encountered in this video 🤗 Thanks for sharing this, Jack and Nico! 😊
Nice video! I haven’t visited Chengdu yet but I hope to visit soon and I can’t wait!

Love the murals and pictures hung on the walls. The residents appear to enjoy their lives.
I love your vlogs! Aside from enjoying the two of you detailing your travels, they remind me of my various adventures in China. And I really think Chengdu is the best and coolest city in China .
I lived in the Yulin neighborhood of Chengdu about 10 years ago. Crazy to see how much it’s changed since then lol I didn’t even recognize it!

There are still many places worth exploring in Chengdu

Hi Nico, old vlog in 2022 or fresh new one taken recently?
I love Chengdu so I would pick it as a place to visit and live in. Somehow I feel that Shanghai is the coolest city in China if not in Asia.
it is. my beloved home, i wanna go back desperately
I prefer living outside the city but near the city. Because love country side view, fresh air & least expensive.
Nice
good job!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤

Famous Liu Bei' Shu kingdom in Romance of three kingdom.
It's extremely hard to pick from Chengdu, or Hangzhou.

They meant "the most chilled city in China", as in, laid-back.
Ah the language barrier. Not so easy to overcome.
I thought you were talking to Nobel Price winner Moyan at 3:50.... And you stroke his puppy...
Children's are on the wall sure heck better than random graffiti everywhere
I don't think so,I think they overkill it.I miss the old Chengdu. These modern buildings just make it like any other city.
is everyone still masked up there?
❤ 👍 😊 😂
Chengdu =HOT

No, the coolest |& artistic atmosphere city in China is 阿那亚
I don't know if chengdu is the coolest city but definitely the gayest city in China
