As a game dev who was also in charge of the camera-terrain collision logic in my project, and had been playing other major games to see how they solved when the player-camera raycast was clipped, I totally see what you get lol.
To convince the team so I can implement the camera collision avoidance logic, I had to film some video clips from GTA5 myself and had to show them to my colleagues.
Alpha-blending out the character when the cam gets too close to the player brings another thin layer of 'detail' works to the backlog. But it's quite fun to implement such details from the character shader to the game camera logic.

I'm really stoked on this game. One of my clips got into their beta highlight! I described it as this. Destiny and Warframe had a baby. But the baby was actually fathered by Anthem.

played the beta and had a blast had some issues with crashing first couple of boot ups trying to get through the tutorial but it did give me the opertunity to try all three really liked how the ice mage fit my play style lots of powerful aoe attacks that allowed me to keep my distance

The devs need to finally learn making the smooth transition for character's WASD animations. I hate these snappy movements whenever you change direction.
Same. Lies of P had that problem, and it looked terrible.
It’s because to make it smoother they need to do extra animation frames, which has the downside of making the movement feel laggy and less responsive. And better feeling movement trumps better looking movement.
I'm quite the opposite. I hate these "smooth transition animations" that people love to put in their games where the character takes half a second everytime you change directions.
Yep. Smooth movement animations that are sluggish or move you more than you want killed me more times in games than I'd care to count. Looking at you Witcher 3. @@dieshorus3192
@@dieshorus3192 I get what you're saying, I don't like input-action delay as well. Many games have this jelly-feel in order to make room for realistic animations. But that's not my solution.
I'm not talking about changing the control over your character at all, only about animations. Even default Unreal Engine dummy does turn smoothly even though your controls get instant response. Yes, there is a tiny "slide" thing happening during its first step, but it's nothing compared to instantaneous 180 snap which completely ruins immersion.
If you think it's impossible to make smooth animations without turning controls into sluggish RDR2-like swamp-esque crap, then check a video called: "Animation Bootcamp: An Indie Approach to Procedural Animation". It's a great example. You control your character's collider (a sphere or cylinder) and the animation follows. The collider never waits for the animation, but it does have its own inertia.
It just requires extra attention and time.

When I was but a child I had an old neighbour who anytime I bumped into he would try to coax me into his home to "touch the magic thing" but I'm not interested in magic so I always politely refused, I wonder if he still practice's?

This game has a nice flow to it. It is like a more casual version of outriders but better presentation even though its all a bit confusing.

executioner was a cute boss we made it to the one before the last boss and fought him for like 3 days before the end, i was able to get to mastery 18 and it was freaking fun ^^ cant wait for its next round or beta release ^^

If the bosses and other enemies have part based destruction like in the horizon series, game will be an insta pickup. I can’t tell if the first boss you play against has more than just the weak spot, but the information screen about it gives me huge horizon vibes

One of the best games I have tested this year imo. gonna be a lot of fun when the full game comes along. Its an Unholy baby between Warframe, Destiny, and The Division, Wearing some Slick Anime clothes.

Really hated this game in alpha testing. Played the beta and was pleasantly surprised at the progress they made. The game feels, looks, and plays a lot better now. It's definitely on my wishlist now

Hey, quick question, wouldn't it be 10x more enjoyable for us YT watchers if the streamer could stream to Twitch on a second PC with a video capture card taking the signal from the gaming PC then on the gaming PC record the video using AV1 codec (that Twitch doesn't support afaik but it allows much better quality using less storage) at 4K and use that footage to upload to YT? Twitch video compression, bitrate, codec, are all dog$hit, as soon there is fast gameplay it's just a big mess of pixels it's unwatchable and when it's uploaded on YT afterwards it's even worse.
This looks really really solid. Add a bucket of polish onto this and it will be a huge game.

UI totes looks like a mobile UI. Yeah its not in the right position for a mobile screen but those are mobile buttons.
As I was playing this game constantly reminded me that I would much rather play warfame as it has already ironed out the ridiculous amount of issues that this game has, and the only reason I am not doing so is because this is new.

Depends on the game and the mouse. Mostly I use it in RTS games for camera movement. Marking enemies with this button is not that convenient.
This game seems more a combination of Warframe for gameplay and mashing of Destiny and Anthems visual styling.
