- In preparation for the arrival of Fuga Melodies of Steel 2, we review the original Fuga Melodies of Steel.
Fuga is a game developed by CyberConnect2 in which you do in fact use children as live ammunition. However, you should try your best not to.
Fuga is set in a war-ravaged world where a village is destroyed by the fascist German, I mean Berman Empire. The child survivors band together after the attack and board a gigantic tank known as Taranis - a relic of an ancient but technologically-advanced civilization - in order to travel across the dangerous landscape and rescue their families who were taken prisoner.
The Taranis houses a super weapon called the Soul Cannon which is capable of immense destruction at the cost of a crew member's life, with the main characters having to choose when and whom to sacrifice in order for the group to reach their destination. The game is separated into 12 chapters and features multiple endings depending on player choice and how many characters survive.

I was scrolling through the “coming soon” on the Switch and I saw Fuga 2. Never heard of the series, but it looks awesome! I gotta check out the first game too based on this video.
Super funny crayon drawings! I enjoy the more obscure games being reviewed so thanks a bunch
finally some good content
Cool stuff! Going to push through the first game after watching this.
I hope this get a Physical release soon I like to own all of my game physical but thanks to your review I think I might download this game
"Out of ammo" playtrough was kinda challenging, especially with only Mei on board for entire chapter 11. I'm sorry, little one
Hold the phone. Hold every phone.
This is the company that made... Tail concerto for the playstation 1?! My childhood game...
Alright... i'm buying Fuga 2.
Have fun man, I hope you enjoy it. And do be careful if you haven't played the first. The sequel does have a recap, but it doesn't really do a good job of "Re-capping" as it is more or less just a clip show with no dialogue or any of the character interaction
CyberConnect 2 is absolutely at their A game when it comes to the writing table if not anything else, so if you think you'll like the story to the games, and if you can find it of course : consider watching a synopsis of the first game since they were absolutely 'not' on their A game with that recap.
@@ACatNamedJat Thanks. I just tried the demo for the first game. And i cried... i don't think i'd be able to handle two full games of that. Almost wish there was a way for me to give them my money without letting me have this game. x) I think i'll purchase rhe first game to support them, at least.
@@ACatNamedJat I finished Fuga 1. And i'll have you know i only cried 3 times.
Thanks again for recommending me to do the first one first.
Wow!
That thumbnail is cursed lmao. Poor boron.
Don't worry, I would never actually throw Boron -or anyone- in the Soul Cannon. He's just there for a photoshoot, we're not gonna activate it on him.
Get in the soul cannon malt. If u dont we will bait mei into the soul cannon instead. So get in the soul cannon malt
