Visiting an Art Store in Fukuoka / Yamamoto Bumpodo

- Hello guys!
I'm excited to share this quick tour of Yamamoto Bumpodo. This is the main art store that I know of in Fukuoka. There are more art materials that I wasn't able to cover like acrylic and oil paints. I focused mostly on watercolors 😃

Just went there last week…I love this new released Holbein colours. And I love this art supplies store in Fukuoka too!!

I have to postpone my trip to Japan this summer due to the heatwave so I am living vicariously through you now. I last went to Japan many years ago but didn’t get into watercolour back then, such a shame! Thanks for sharing this and the Sekaido store, when I go I will definitely visit them! 😊
Sekaido is a must-visit store! I find that art materials in Fukuoka are more expensive compared to Tokyo.
make sure you're at the main sekaido store! there's a smaller sekaido nearishby as well

When I worked in an art studio we had a paper i think from Japan it had an impression that looked like a woven fabric almost raised, when working in gouache you could mimic a woven fabric with dry brush have you seen any papers for sale like this? We can't find it anywhere in the USA the managers would have some shipped from Japan but i don't know where from
