It’s a hard work to film everything you do…really appreciate your effort and opportunity to learn with your experience…I’ve build a EA Shockwave and those AIL servo screws were totally nightmare as you commented…greeting for a Brazilian follower!
Your work looks amazing, you've put out some beautiful planes. About how long do these builds actually take? Just watching the videos, it seems you crank these out in the same time it takes me to set up a foamie. Lol
Thank you very much. For a sports jet it can usually be completed in about 3-4 days which is 50-60 hours. Most scale aircraft take a few weeks, 100-150 hours.
Just what i was looking for as i am building my UF evo wing with Electron gears too, some great tips in here, thanks a ton Jonathan! Any advice on how to get the tow angle on the Ultra flash mains? as it's a 1 piece wing.
Glad to help! Measure from 2 locations and find the centre of the wing. You can also use the fuse joint line as the center point. Use this as a home base to transfer the center line of the fuse close to the landing gear.
@@thelightersideofrc I've been told only to use flat head or washer head screws, meaning the base of the screw is flat and that will sit flush with the electron gears, i am not able to get hold of such screws in the right size, I see you are using the screws that i could manage to get, they are kinda cone head right? not flat bottom, do you always use these screws on most builds?
It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on what to look out for when buying used turbine planes. Ill that where i would start when i transition to turbines…
Hi from Germany could please send me the link to where you order the aircraft lighting system from as i need some lights and control unit for my new project which is called shock jet form Germany thankyou
Wait, you have a dog as well?i mean i'm a bit scared of dogs, but that one looks nice. plus,i wouldnt say 10g pulls.its definetely more.for example,if you are at your top speed of 300mph ,and do a loop with a radius of 10 meters, you would experience(well your plane ) 183 G.so this plane might not be the one nez wants to fly😂😂🤣.but embarrisingly,i havent even built my first rc plane😂.but i expect a maiden of it in december.its a prop.a scratch build.so,its a long time till im at your level !
I have the bigger Picaro and measured about 12g's max but it can definitely achieve more with the appropriate flying style. I doubt it can achieve 300mph though. The bigger one with a 250 turbine tops out at about 235 normally. The wing profile is the limiting factor I think. It's too thick. Not necessarily built for all out speed. But hey I'm all for overpowering jets for some extra umpf
@@ABDULLAH-789-h2d Absolutely yes. Ultra Flash maybe a Bolt or Diamond. I just have my doubts about this one. I'd love to get proved wrong on this one because I almost ordered on twice already :)

Great question! Lots of things to think about!
Looks good internal in Black.😅 It looks real fast just sitting there.😮 Using double horns great idea as eliminate side movement. Keep at it.😂❤
It is a real fast one, but I won't say how fast!
Only thing I didn’t like was painting over the beautiful carbon fiber should’ve masked that off too.
Nope! 😂😉
