I think Luke was trying to say Iam is being critical of himself because alot of people here in Hawaii are calling him the next Israel Kamakawiwo'ole and singing that song was IZ's bigger hits and Iam has probably been critical of being the next IZ. People, like me, who loved IZ growing up, think that Iam is the first Iam.
Not every day, a guy can bring so many people back to a show that most of us stopped watching. You are truly special. It also proves that America wants more. They see past all the glitz and glory. I see you on a huge stage. When you win, make an album that is only YOU because that alone brought us to you 🙏🏾🙏🏾

I'm 66 yrs old , if the good Lord sees fit for me to leave now , I would leave happily knowing I've heard the most , humble , caring , lovable , outstanding young man. His dad told him he was an incredible storyteller, but I don’t think he really believed it until his audition and subsequent performances.

I can understand Iam’s hesitation to do this song, especially with the version Iz did being so iconic…but there should have been no hesitation. He did his own spin on it and it was absolutely amazing. They need to just give him the win and put out an album yesterday. He’s it.

I lived in Kailua on Oahu for 12 years. Iam reminds me of all the good times I spent there. His voice is like a warm ocean breeze on Lanikai beach 😁 I just love this kid! Go Iam!!!
