He was really missing the fast courts in slams from 2008-2016. He had fast courts at Dubai, Cincy, Shanghai etc and he could beat Djoker in them even when Djoker was at his peak. But the slams themselves always played slower

history always wants a retaste, sure will come one day, could take a little while to happen. Just look at Carlos, Nadal is still active and we have a mini-nadal already hehehe
Tennis is heading differently than Federer drink in his early days, thus we just can hope for more net/attacker player embedded in this new version of the game: more slow, baseline rallies and few variations besides forehand backhand. That is why tennis is loosing grounds around the world, more lazy people to master this game and being a boring game to watch on tv

when it comes to fast court. No one can beat roger. You all know wimbledon's grass becomes more like clay when it comes to final, that's the reason he loses to djoker. when it comes to fast courts (AO17), Roger wins everyone. Ridicilous stuff, and he did this right after a draining Olympics campaign and suffered a heartbreaking whitewash defeat in the final to settle with the Silver medal. An insane response! Then he would repeat this feat again at the same tournament in 2015, 3 years later - again from another heartbreaking loss at Wimbledon in the final. Just unreal. How can you not drop serve and not drop a set for a whole tournament... not once, but twice?? And achieving both after heartbreaking losses in the previous outing?

People don’t realise that anything under 36 isn’t even that old. Many people are still physically capable at older ages and obviously federer superb shotmaking allows him to not rely on physicality

Shush!!!! Federer fanatics need everyone to think that Roger was 'old' and 'past his prime' at 27, and practically a pensioner at 29/30, remember.

Shows how much you follow tennis, federer made it the norm to extend careers into the mid to late 30s. Just rewatch RG 2011 semis against Novak, the commentators were already calling him an old man back then....

Statistics would disagree with you. Very very few tennis players remain competitive into their late 30s. The fact that you can name a few doesn't make them common - in fact, it means they stand out precisely because they're rare

Of course 36 is old in tennis. 36 year old Djokovic would be destroyed by 5-6 years younger big 3. 29/30 is no pensioner, it's just a bit past-prime to contend with a prime all-time great. 95 out of 100 of the oldest slam winners were all younger than 36. Only 5 times has someone older than 36 won a slam in the open era and only 3 people have ever done it. That tells you how old 36 is.

Fed really had no one yo beat when we arrived. When Nadal came in, it was over for Fed and when Joker came in it was game set match for Fedal.
Fedal most selfish players in the history

Djokovic slugged his ass till Federer became 30+. Djokovic is just a beneficiary of Federer become 30+ and Djokovic had age advantage since then.

@AaravYadav-em5tj And yet 37 years old Joker players who are 15 years younger than him where Fed didn't have any chance against second best Nadal and he would definitely struggle to beat Sinner and Alcarez.

@@JAM-fm8lt15 years younger ?? It is good that Carlos Alcaraz is 15 years younger and not 5-6 years younger than Djokovic. Otherwise Djokovic would have stuck at 12 GS. An inexperienced Carlos Alcaraz defeated him in 2 Wimbledon finals 😂.
And beating lesser players like Tsitsipas, Rudd, Beretinni, Kyrgios, Noorie, Shapavalov , Musetti against whom Djokovic is stat padding are weak era vulture job.

@@JAM-fm8lt38 yr old Federer was better than 30+ Djokovic in Wimbledon 2019 and you are talking about Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz who are not yet matured. 38 yr old Federer even beat 32 yr old Djokovic in ATP finals.
Carlos and Sinner lost to 36 yr old Djokovic in ATP finals 😂. So, I don't know what you are smoking.

@AaravYadav-em5tj all the so called weak players you mentioned will absolutely beat players Fed won most of his GS against. Joker is still beating Alcarez and Sinner but Fed would get thumped by these 2.
Fact doesn't change when Nadal came in it was game set and match for Fed and and Joker came in it was game set match for the Fedal.
