Come yard sale and thrift with me, see the haul, and get home decorating ideas and inspiration on how YOU can style secondhand finds in your own home. I always try to recreate a high end decor aesthetic while saving as much as possible over the original prices. :)

Those agate cups took my breath away. I would have fainted if I saw those in person. In Japan, it is common for cups to be sold in sets of 5.

It really was. I couldn't believe it when I found those dishes on Lulu in Georgia for that price 😳 I wonder how it is that someone came to donate the whole set?
Wow, Tasha! You really got some great buys! And that free chair that you made a big profit on! It’s amazing what people put to the curb! I have a huge doll house with accessories that someone put to the curb! My granddaughters love playing with it when they come over.
So true! I saw it there alone with a sign and had to see...I thought, no way it's going to be free...but it was :) The dollhouse find sounds epic!

Thank you! Yes, I agree, to me probably the number one source for the best deals is probably yard sales. Second, thrift stores and third, consignment shops. (Usually anyway ☺️)

Ohh...amazing finds!! Love the candle sticks, the wicker chair(what a steal) and the melamine dishes!! How fun to get paint for free!! Great wicker basket. They are expensive!! The two toned vase is really really nice. I can't believe it was only 2$, another steal of a deal!! I am thrilled for you Tasha with all the treasures you found!!

Ok, that’s it young lady…..I’m so jealous. I love melamine, especially when my energetic grandkids are in residence 🤣🤣. And let’s not talk about the vintage FREE boho peacock fan chair, does not fit my decor, but that was an amazing find regardless. I like the cup candlestick a lot too. My husband is in the process of selling our business in NYC, and we are trying to decide on a location for retirement. I need to know the state/city you are in because with great item like these, and amazing prices too, I need to put that on my list as a possible retirement location! I’m thinking NC, or Virginia but I can be swayed 🤣🤣. Very nice haul.

Hi Tasha It's a Tasha day yay! I worked hard all day yesterday, so today is a day off to get caught up on videos.. My favorite find was definitely the melamine set. Those are so nice . Those are definitely your style. I don't have a style when it comes to dinnerware...I love it all and have many sets...but you sure got a deal. I love you got $125 for the boho chair you got free...nothing wrong with that.. Around here rummage sales are ridiculously high.You would not find deals here, except all of our estate sales are decently priced, especially if you are a regular. I always get cloth napkins at estate sales and we use them everyday. Those were a good deal.. I love the old pottery piece too. Oh thanks for the hydrangea tip...I have two old snowball bushes that I cut and bring in ...but wow those looked real and don't have to depend on the season. Curry in that basket is adorable. That was a great laundry basket. Our six year old cat checks out everything we bring in too. Right now he is completely weirded out because of the kitty who moved to our yard and we also have a neighbor's rooster that moved to our yard too. I am going to call him, because Kroger finds it 😡 upsetting. Thanks Tasha..you have a beautiful home with beautiful things. ❤❤❤❤

Yard saling really opens up more opportunities. I do like an estate sale now and then buy sometimes the atmosphere is so frenzied with everyone waiting in line then rushing around in the person's home that it gets to me and i just say forget them for a while. But I do know you can find some cool stuff! I can't wait to use the melamine set! I just got around to cleaning them. Yes, Kroger looks out our glass doors and stares at Freddie. Freddie gets scared and doesn’t come around for a day or so. He doesn’t like my neighbor’s new pup so I think that is why he lives here.lol

You inspired me to thrift cloth napkins. I got 9 for 4.00, 5 of them had DANICA label. I dont know where they are sold. They are all new, whoo hoo! I love the basket. You have such a relaxed presentation, and seem to enjoy it so much! Thank you for not rushing ❤.

I cannot believe the "profit" you made on that chair...wow! Every item was nice and i like how you styled it!
Thank you! 😊 What's funny about the chair is it was toward the end of the yard saling time of day. I think it was nearly 11:00 a.m. by then. So I was very surprised that no one had picked up the chair beforehand, assuming they'd put it out that morning when their neighborhood yard sale began. 🤷🏼♀️

I love that sage green quilt.. and $3.. wow! I only use quilts on my bed, i can't sleep under a comforter, i get to hot! Green is my favorite color, and i love the sage green!! I just bought a hand made one at a thrift store last week, that wasn't crazy priced, and i was pretty excited over that find. The wood box with the handle is a primitive tool box..$20 is a great price! They're very expensive in the antique stores! I love mine, its full of old tools so I'd love to have another one so I can keep collecting old tools😄 and i sure would have grabbed that one! Wow.. the antique copper bin..a steal for $20!! I love copper, another piece i would have grabbed! They had great deals! I collect milk glass, never seen a light shade like that one you picked up.. beautiful piece! And I have oil lamps it would fit! Lol the goose was out shopping too I guess😄 Love the candlesticks, looks really nice. Ohhh Wow..i had the peacock wicker chair In my first home when I moved out! That was 40+yrs ago! And it had the round orange coushin! I actually had a bookcase to match it, i loved wicker furniture back then, that boho look. Thats wild, my cat is the exact same way.. and it don't matter what it is!😄 The dishes are so neat, as well as the vase. The hydrangeas are gorgeous! You picked up some great pieces, TFS😊
Oh, your handmade quilt find sounds great! I'm still happy about mine from the episode before last that I put on my daughter's bed 😍 Now that you and another commenter have said that the wooden box is an old toolbox, it makes perfect sense and I think I knew it was...I don't know why I couldn't think what to call it...Wooden... Box... Thingy? 🤣 But yes there were certainly some great finds this week!
I got my quilt for $20 and a baby sized one for $10, i just hung it on back of one of my antique chairs. I got it at a thrift store back in NC, while we were visiting family, and they has another one i wanted. We're actually leaving to go back tomorrow, my husband's brother passed yesterday morning. If I have a chance I'm gonna pop in and see if they still have it..i should have got it last week 🤦♀️
Yeah, those tool boxes sale for upwards of $50+ in the antique stores! Most are 80-100yrs old.. if there authentic! I have vintage & antique tools in mine, its full! If I found another one at that price I'd sure grab it! Maybe just put a couple tools in it & then some florals. You really can do alot with them, if you like primitive & antique decor like that.. Which I personally love😉😊

Great finds! Love the pottery piece!! Your cat in that basket made me cry. My soul kitty (Tater) passed away in my arms Saturday before last (the 13th). He looked a lot like your kitty. He had to claim every box, bag, or basket for himself immediately. He was so silly and I miss him more than words can ever say. Rest well my sunshine boy 😢.

Ahh, too bad. I hope you find some you love! There is something very nice about white hydrangeas. They are one of my favorites, along with peonies and baby's breath.
The chair at the end likely had a hardwood frame and 8 way tied springs.These features would have attributed to the weight. It's from the 1930's. (I had my grandparents set.)

Hey there.....I don't think that the abstract painting is of florals. I believe it might be an artist using the splatter technique applied to the concept of Renoir's "Luncheon of the Boating Party." Renoir is my absolute favorite artist of all time and it is reminiscent of that to me.
I remember in art class in college, one of the assignments was to do a splatter technique of a very famous artist....and this reminds me of that. ❤❤❤
