Ok, that’s it young lady…..I’m so jealous. I love melamine, especially when my energetic grandkids are in residence 🤣🤣. And let’s not talk about the vintage FREE boho peacock fan chair, does not fit my decor, but that was an amazing find regardless. I like the cup candlestick a lot too. My husband is in the process of selling our business in NYC, and we are trying to decide on a location for retirement. I need to know the state/city you are in because with great item like these, and amazing prices too, I need to put that on my list as a possible retirement location! I’m thinking NC, or Virginia but I can be swayed 🤣🤣. Very nice haul.
Haha thank you! I love this comment. We are in North Carolina in Durham which is part of the "triangle"--Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill. Come on over! Virginia is lovely too so you can't go wrong between the two.
Hi Tasha It's a Tasha day yay! I worked hard all day yesterday, so today is a day off to get caught up on videos.. My favorite find was definitely the melamine set. Those are so nice . Those are definitely your style. I don't have a style when it comes to dinnerware...I love it all and have many sets...but you sure got a deal. I love you got $125 for the boho chair you got free...nothing wrong with that.. Around here rummage sales are ridiculously high. You would not find deals here, except all of our estate sales are decently priced, especially if you are a regular. I always get cloth napkins at estate sales and we use them everyday. Those were a good deal.. I love the old pottery piece too. Oh thanks for the hydrangea tip...I have two old snowball bushes that I cut and bring in ...but wow those looked real and don't have to depend on the season. Curry in that basket is adorable. That was a great laundry basket. Our six year old cat checks out everything we bring in too. Right now he is completely weirded out because of the kitty who moved to our yard and we also have a neighbor's rooster that moved to our yard too. I am going to call him, because Kroger finds it 😡 upsetting. Thanks Tasha..you have a beautiful home with beautiful things. ❤❤❤❤
@@ritastutler1470 ah yes I remember your new outdoor kitty. Does the inside one stare him down through the windows? And yes so many great finds this week! Yard saling really opens up more opportunities. I do like an estate sale now and then buy sometimes the atmosphere is so frenzied with everyone waiting in line then rushing around in the person's home that it gets to me and i just say forget them for a while. But I do know you can find some cool stuff! I can't wait to use the melamine set! I just got around to cleaning them. We're just starting work on a back patio so I'll look forward to using them out there as well as inside. Thanks for watching, Rita! I always look for your comment 😊😊
@@TashaatHome Tasha I forgot to tell you I loved the marble cups…u found the best that day. Yes, Kroger looks out our glass doors and stares at Freddie. Freddie gets scared and doesn’t come around for a day or so. He doesn’t like my neighbor’s new pup so I think that is why he lives here.lol I am sure your patio will be beautiful too. 💕💕💕💕
Tasha, I just found you yesterday and have binged on several of your videos! You have such a sweet spirit, calm voice and have a great eye! Thanks for sharing your treasure hunts and ideas! ❤
Thank you! 😊 What's funny about the chair is it was toward the end of the yard saling time of day. I think it was nearly 11:00 a.m. by then. So I was very surprised that no one had picked up the chair beforehand, assuming they'd put it out that morning when their neighborhood yard sale began. 🤷🏼♀️
I love that sage green quilt.. and $3.. wow! I only use quilts on my bed, i can't sleep under a comforter, i get to hot! Green is my favorite color, and i love the sage green!! I just bought a hand made one at a thrift store last week, that wasn't crazy priced, and i was pretty excited over that find. The wood box with the handle is a primitive tool box..$20 is a great price! They're very expensive in the antique stores! I love mine, its full of old tools so I'd love to have another one so I can keep collecting old tools😄 and i sure would have grabbed that one! Wow.. the antique copper bin..a steal for $20!! I love copper, another piece i would have grabbed! They had great deals! I collect milk glass, never seen a light shade like that one you picked up.. beautiful piece! And I have oil lamps it would fit! Lol the goose was out shopping too I guess😄 Love the candlesticks, looks really nice. Ohhh Wow..i had the peacock wicker chair In my first home when I moved out! That was 40+yrs ago! And it had the round orange coushin! I actually had a bookcase to match it, i loved wicker furniture back then, that boho look. Thats wild, my cat is the exact same way.. and it don't matter what it is!😄 The dishes are so neat, as well as the vase. The hydrangeas are gorgeous! You picked up some great pieces, TFS😊
Oh, your handmade quilt find sounds great! I'm still happy about mine from the episode before last that I put on my daughter's bed 😍 Now that you and another commenter have said that the wooden box is an old toolbox, it makes perfect sense and I think I knew it was...I don't know why I couldn't think what to call it...Wooden... Box... Thingy? 🤣 But yes there were certainly some great finds this week!
I got my quilt for $20 and a baby sized one for $10, i just hung it on back of one of my antique chairs. I got it at a thrift store back in NC, while we were visiting family, and they has another one i wanted. We're actually leaving to go back tomorrow, my husband's brother passed yesterday morning. If I have a chance I'm gonna pop in and see if they still have it..i should have got it last week 🤦♀️
Yeah, those tool boxes sale for upwards of $50+ in the antique stores! Most are 80-100yrs old.. if there authentic! I have vintage & antique tools in mine, its full! If I found another one at that price I'd sure grab it! Maybe just put a couple tools in it & then some florals. You really can do alot with them, if you like primitive & antique decor like that.. Which I personally love😉😊
@@tammyleviner3070 oh yes I'm sure I could have used it somehow. That was the first yard sale and I wish I'd bought several more things there. I think I only got the vase and the quilt from there (meant to mention I did get the quilt too!) 😺
Hey Tasha, my daughter and i feel you have a great eye for things. My favourite was the melamine dishes you got. It was a steal. Maryam thinks the wase was extremely beautiful and the flowers looked awesome in them! Perfectly styled.
Ohh...amazing finds!! Love the candle sticks, the wicker chair(what a steal) and the melamine dishes!! How fun to get paint for free!! Great wicker basket. They are expensive!! The two toned vase is really really nice. I can't believe it was only 2$, another steal of a deal!! I am thrilled for you Tasha with all the treasures you found!!
SCORE on the melamine dishes and the peacock chair!!! Love the linen napkins and large basket. So excited about yard and garage sale season. Best deals that type of thrifting. ENJOY shopping
Thank you! Yes, I agree, to me probably the number one source for the best deals is probably yard sales. Second, thrift stores and third, consignment shops. (Usually anyway ☺️)
You really found some great things! The table service is terrific. I did like the modern art piece you showed and the Quad-ish ottoman. Yard sales & thrift stores can be wonderful opportunities to find treasure.
Loved your video 1 glad to see Curry checked out the basket !! 😊 My fav was the candle stick holders and big laundry wicker basket ! Loved you showing your daughter’s sticker on your hand !! Enjoyed!!! Always do!
Wow, Tasha! You really got some great buys! And that free chair that you made a big profit on! It’s amazing what people put to the curb! I have a huge doll house with accessories that someone put to the curb! My granddaughters love playing with it when they come over.
I have that old vessel/pot, and I put white flowers in it, too, lol. My sweet mother gave it to me. She found it at an antique shop. I wish I could send a picture of it 😊❤
Thank you Tasha for taking us with you on a very interesting shopping trip and even got a glimpse of the area you were driving through I just found your lovely channel and enjoy your style. My favourite item is the vase it is unique and no one else would have the same it looks great as centrepiece on your table. Happy New Year from 🇦🇺. 🎉🎊🪅
Wow! Another FANTASTIC video! I love how you present everything and just feel inspired and refreshed after watching your videos. I really enjoyed this one so much!
Thank you so much, I'm glad to hear it! For some reason the last few videos aren't doing as well in the metrics and I'm not sure why but comments like this encourage me to keep going ☺️
You inspired me to thrift cloth napkins. I got 9 for 4.00, 5 of them had DANICA label. I dont know where they are sold. They are all new, whoo hoo! I love the basket. You have such a relaxed presentation, and seem to enjoy it so much! Thank you for not rushing ❤.
Girl, those melamine dishes, I would buy a set from you in a heartbeat! I’m not far from you! And the wooden box with handle is a vintage tool box. Great items today.
All the finds this week are lovely, but I think the melamine dinnerware is the steal of the century! I need to take a look at the flowers also. They are really beautiful!

I'm always thankful when I find something cool! It does take going very regularly though. I'm in a thrift shop of some sort at least three times a week. ☺️ I appreciate you always watching!
Ahh, too bad. I hope you find some you love! There is something very nice about white hydrangeas. They are one of my favorites, along with peonies and baby's breath.
The chair at the end likely had a hardwood frame and 8 way tied springs. These features would have attributed to the weight. It's from the 1930's. (I had my grandparents set.)
Thanks! Yes, I do think that the napkins and the vase will look great together, especially around the fall. I can definitely see the vase with fall florals in it 🤩
Hey there.....I don't think that the abstract painting is of florals. I believe it might be an artist using the splatter technique applied to the concept of Renoir's "Luncheon of the Boating Party." Renoir is my absolute favorite artist of all time and it is reminiscent of that to me. I remember in art class in college, one of the assignments was to do a splatter technique of a very famous artist....and this reminds me of that. ❤❤❤
The chair was a great deal....as always great job. Love your viedos❤Thank you
You're so sweet, thank you!! 😊
I love kitty that jumped in the basket. 😍😍😍😍😍😍

Wow! That’s wonderful you sold the chair that you got free. Way to go!!
The kitty was my favorite, she looks like my little pal, Honey.
Aww, nice! ☺️
Loved the basket and the vase styled with the hydrangeas! Great deal on the dishes! Wow! 😊
I agree! What a week for deals!!
Those place settings are stunning!🌞Fl
I love the candlesticks and the large basket. Great for storing magazines or throw blankets. Your videos are so entertaining and your voice is lovely.
Thanks so much! And right there are so many things a basket can be used for--I got it before I knew exactly what I'd do with it ☺️
Those agate cups took my breath away. I would have fainted if I saw those in person. In Japan, it is common for cups to be sold in sets of 5.
Oh how interesting! They were stunning! I knew I wouldn't likely use them but I'm sure someone got them ☺️
I would never have thought those dishes were melamine ! Great find! Enjoy!
Right! The texture in them really makes them look like real ceramic to me. 😊

You are so lucky to find such nice things all the time! Wow!
I'm always thankful when I find something cool! It does take going very regularly though. I'm in a thrift shop of some sort at least three times a week. ☺️ I appreciate you always watching!
New subscriber enjoying all except preview. Like to see items first with you. Thx. Keep up your good work‼️
Welcome, thanks for following along! I'll have to think on what footage to place there instead 🤔
Good video. Cannot believe you didn't get the horse though. I am so jealous.
I thought about it but I couldn't think fast enough where I'd put it. So many things I like but don't get haha!
great scores!
Such great finds !

Fantastic finds. Loved the styling, too. Can't wait until the yard sales start happenin' around here. 😂
Fingers crossed you find some great deals! 🤞🏼

Enjoying your videos sweetheart ❤
I'm so glad! Thanks for watching 😊
Loving the dishes also, they would be awesome for my camper😊
Oh yes melamine would be great for that. They still feel like real dishes, not typical plastic ☺️
Love your videos!! 😊

I hope you bought those goblets. Gorgeous!
I didn't, but weren't they cool??

Thanks!!
❤❤ the hydrangeas. Too expensive with Amazon in Canada. I will check at Michael’s. Also really nice basket and good price.
Ahh, too bad. I hope you find some you love! There is something very nice about white hydrangeas. They are one of my favorites, along with peonies and baby's breath.
Great job
Thanks very much 😊
Excellent
Thank you! Cheers!
The chair at the end likely had a hardwood frame and 8 way tied springs. These features would have attributed to the weight. It's from the 1930's. (I had my grandparents set.)
I'm sure you're right! How interesting.
The dishes are amazing! Would your pottery barn napkins go along with your vase?!
Thanks! Yes, I do think that the napkins and the vase will look great together, especially around the fall. I can definitely see the vase with fall florals in it 🤩
Beautiful examples!!! Thank you for your creativity. Do you think you can do a video on how to download and print digital art?
I'll see about working a more detailed segment about that into an upcoming video 👍🏼
I love the vase and the dishes! But everything you picked up was great! Do you have the link for those exact hydrangeas?
Yes the link is in the description box ☺️ Those are the ones I showed.
Ooh interesting! That may be the case, thanks for sharing that ☺️ (And that sounds like a fun assignment!)
I think those goblets were onyx and not marble. They sold them at Ten Thousand Villages.
You post and tell us what goodwill you go to in Durham? I live in the vicinity and would like to go to that.
I'm in the Goodwill on North Roxboro a lot ☺️
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for watching :)

Could you please tell me where you got the beautiful silk Hydrangeas? Thank you
Of course! They are linked in the description box, but here is the link as well: Real Touch Hydrangeas: amzn.to/3xZzWPn :)

Right! Someone else said that. I don't know why that didn't occur to me 😂 Of course!
