- Salmon. Sushi. Pizza. If any of those three words excites you, what I'm about to say next will surely blow your mind. Sushi pizza. Yes, you heard me right. Today we made sushi pizza from a fresh California king salmon. Now, before I go on, if you're reading this, hi. Pease take a very quick second to smash that like button below. It helps more than you could EVER, possibly imagine and my entire incredible team and I are greatly appreciative.
Now, back to the sushi pizza. We've had regular sushi rolls, sushi bowls, sushi burritos and even sushi burgers. But I have never had or seen sushi pizza anywhere. The pizza we created in this video had somewhat of a floppy crust, and, next time, I'd love to try to make crispy rice as the whole pizza, which will then be topped with fish, whether it's tuna, salmon, eel, or really anything out there.
I'm sure several Japanese sushi-masters would look at this video (and I really hope for both my own sake and particularly theirs that they don't find it) and cringe. But, for me, the important part here is that the rice is cooked and seasoned properly, the fish is cut into beautiful cubes and well-marinated, and the accompaniments all fit in well with the overall theme of the pizza. While this may not be the easiest or most functional way to eat sushi, I loved it.

@Joe This salmon costs about 30-70 dollars, so if you buy phones or computers you surely have enough you just didn't want to "waste it" even tho you did on the phone
But to be honest a phone is something you need, it entertains you for almost forever and more even I have fallen for this trick of wasting money, i would say it's worth it but it costs like half the price to build a phone yourself if you know how to which I don't so(I guess the cost includes the cost it took wasting time to make the phone?)

Here in Toronto we have our own variation of sushi pizza, and it’s pretty commonplace in Japanese restaurants. A rice ball is flattened and fried, and the sushi toppings are layered on top. It’s basically just sushi with extra steps, but the novelty makes it worth trying at least once.

I just found this channel and I love Nick's enthusiasm for what he does and just for life in general. Like he said, even if it seems weird to use a good fish to make a sushi pizza, it's gonna be fun to make and taste pretty good, and that's all that matters in the end. Keep up the good work man💜

hey nick, quick tip when washing rice, don’t actually scrub or grind the grains of rice together when washing the rice, or you’ll crush the grains and actually make the water run cloudy for longer. usually just swirl the water and run your fingers through the rice for 3-4 cycles and you’re good!

I'm a LITTLE late to this one... but once again, Nicky D knocked it outta the park!! I'd actually try this one out... looks delicious and it's definitely something different!! Besides...pizza is one of my favorite foods, so combining that aspect of it with the sushi part of it, should really help to blend things together for me....
