I think this and unfinished symphony by massive made people realise that dance music can be a serious art form. It's a shame that modern dance music kinda sucks

If anyone wanted to add a beat 'drop', re-release it in a couple live sets (e.g., Blue's sets on Sense8) and it'll reign SUPREME over music tracks again!!!
Started secondary school when this came out. Daunting time with new horizons ahead; but turned out to be one of the best periods in my life. Now we're all grown up and dealing with bills and adult life.
I remember seeing this come onto the number 1 spot on Top of the Pops in the 1990s and thinking, "what the fuck is this and how has anyone heard of it?" Now I understand. This was a perfect fusion of the '80s infatuation with technology and the future, '80s pop - which would become 90s dance, and soul music. It was prophetic. Especially those discordant bleeps you hear in the background towards the end are so telling - they're like the distance computer chirps one can hear in Quake 1 on the slipgate levels. We knew we were coming into an era whereby digital technology would be vital, unavoidable, intrinsic to our daily lives and everywhere around us... and music obsessively reflected this [and, to an extent, created it].
In 1990 with one song... A young master producer named Adamski created a Monster Singer that later was going to be known to the all world as...'Seal'. The instrumental was created in his home studio in Shepherd's Bush (West London)... and the rest is history'.

Crazy was 1991. I remember because it was my first year at uni and that track was one of many massive hits from that year. Rave and dance had gone mainstream - and there was Madchester too, of course. Awesome time to be young and full of fluids.

Wow, 1st Seal song that I ever heard was "Kiss from a Rose" bacc in da day, Seal was real cool, with notty dreads in a fade and a long earring. Great performer that got better with time!
Wasn’t that much in to 90’s rave, at the time. But was impressed with how these underground producers (Adamski, Prodigy etc) working with 808’s & Synths, cracked the main stream pop charts
This beat is insane. George Michael does an awesome remix of this over Papa Was A Rolling Stone. That's where I first heard it. I had no idea the original was Seal, who I love.

classic dance track the song that made seal famous, good hard hitting vocals from seal, and a killer beat.and one to dance to.
Can't get enough of this masterpiece.
Wow, 1st Seal song that I ever heard was "Kiss from a Rose"
bacc in da day, Seal was real cool, with notty dreads in a fade and a long earring.
Great performer that got better with time!
whoohoo, yeah, now this is the version I've been looking for so long, finally found it! great upload, thanks for that! ;)
Wasn’t that much in to 90’s rave, at the time. But was impressed with how these underground producers (Adamski, Prodigy etc) working with 808’s & Synths, cracked the main stream pop charts
when i was a toddler my parents would play this song and i'd stomp around like a T-Rex
Yea
Oh yea
Haha that's adorable
dvnt
That’s very cringy
dvnt
That is very gay
Still catching the vibes to this classic tuuuunnnnnneeeeee in 2019!
This song will go on forever !!
This beat is insane. George Michael does an awesome remix of this over Papa Was A Rolling Stone. That's where I first heard it. I had no idea the original was Seal, who I love.
@Ricardo Espinoza That's for sure.
The Temptation version is older then Adamski 😉
@@nicesurprise82 of course it is. I'm not sure what I said that would state otherwise.
@@nicesurprise82
Temptations did write this song though
@@johnbaird4912 I was thinking the same thing.
Saw Adamski live at Glastonbury Festival in 1990. We were tripping balls on Luminous Yellow Stars it was a lovely sunny day, the music was epic. very special day that was.
90's' classic from seal and adamski. the song that made seal a overnight star. fucking love this song. we have to what we can to survive.
nope, "crazy" came out before "killer"
nope. crazy. 91. this song, 89.
Killer first appeared on the Liveandirect album release on the MCA Records label in 1989. It was later released by the same label as a single in 1990.

Still listening in 2019 on my cans cranked up to 11. I turned 60 in march! Beat that millenials :)
I am 62 best music
You look good to be in you 60es. I don't mean to be rude
@@johnmacdougall5296 Why thank you. It's all in the genes : )
This song never gets old. It does something to me which I can't explain.
I was in Rhodes in 1990 when i 1st heard this in a night club called The Underground ....loved it back then and still do today 2024
Seal was the real "Morpheus" in the matrix ~
This is just him before he met the oracle.
You're 100% correct Jamal
I was actually getting denzel vibes from virtuosity... but I see it lol...
Good heavens above I forgot how freaking amazing this is. A campain needs to get started to get this played on the radio stations again.
here in Germany they sometimes still play songs like this, although very rarely.
30 years since this topped the charts... time keeps slipping into the future...
1989 1990 absolutely fantastic. My mates and I loved this. Blues nightclub in Penrith 🍻👏👍
It changed my total outlook on the music I was listening too! This was another level .
What a vocal !!!!!!
This takes me back to wonderful times! 😔
I was round town for Christmas 2019 and they dropped this pure without no remix shit on top. My little brain was blown out it's socket.
1990-91: Cette musique c’est incroyable.
2019: Cette musique c’est incroyable.
Tech and cool
Et oui du bon souvenirs 👏
One of the best of the best, ALL TIMES ✊🏼 Adam ski and Seal ✊🏼
