Great video Ryan! Like how you've pivoted from just SEO to marketing as a whole, I don't see many people speaking about what you teach in as much detail. Also starting to come round to the conclusion that SEO is just so broad and niching down to just one target audience/service and become the authority within that is a great way to go. At last, a genuine analysis of the SEO market. I’ve been saying to people that will listen, the market for our services is small. If you’re in SEO is easy to be swept up in this tide of thinking every website should have SEO. And yeah, maybe the vast majority do. But the reality is, only a small amount of businesses engage in SEO, and out of that portion, an even smaller amount understand it. So what happens is you might get someone on board, but they don’t understand it and after 2 months they think “ahhh, the works been done. I don’t need this anymore”. Or they just cancel because they have no idea how it works (no matter how many times you explain it) SEO is a hard sell. Like Ryan said, the competition is high, prices are being driven down, and then you factor in companies in India saying they can do the work for peanuts. I’m just happy to hear someone talking frankly and honestly about the state of the market
