Bro , I think you may have just single handedly caused a breakthrough. I came out the gates ready to go this morning and test this thinking nothing of it BUT people started opening up, laughing, and being patient with me immediately. like 8/10 on the first go and two of them were wrong numbers. This is a golden nugget to be locked away in a vault lol thank you
It's been 2 years since our interview & you are still one of the only few who speaks the TRUTH!! Literally, if you do what Brandon says and internalize the script you will have success! But.... you have to MAKE THE CALLS! Thank you for everything, you've had such a huge positive impact on the growth of my business :)
This study speaks volumes. I was doing the how are you opening and would constantly get hung up on or a “not interested”. The pattern interrupt has brought those numbers up a ton for me.
📈Conversion Framework 📈 ⒈) Select the Best Opening Line: Start with the 1st place opener ("Hi John... you're going to hate me...") as it has the highest success rate (88.6%). Test variations of this to tailor for your style. 2.) Set a Consistent Daily Goal: Bad at Sales: Target 220-250 contacts/day to cover ~660 contacts/month. Good at Sales: Target 80-100 contacts/day to cover ~480 contacts/month. 3.) Focus on Quality: Improve your sales skill to move from 30% contact-to-conversation ratio to 80%. Invest time in practicing objection handling, improving pitch delivery, and increasing engagement. 4.) Your stuff works, man. I used to work as a cold caller for over 2 years... And I remember watching your videos on repeat before my shift. I've closed multiple deals because of the stuff you teach out here (for free). Thanks, man. You're the best.
Hello, May I ask why did you stop working as a cold caller if you did a good job? You didn't like it, it wasn't good pay or the season is something else?
Hi Brandon! Thank you so much for the content. I want to tell you that I started using your cold calling openers, and have been complimented on the approach at least four times in two days. I also have had conversations and leads begin because of the initial approach! Thank you so much for your content!
@@BrandonMulrenin I am going to contact you soon about hiring you as a coach because I love your approach. In fact, I had one person say, "Normally I just hang up because people go into their pitch immediately, but your opening line was great and it grabbed my attention that you were someone different."
I use the opener that you had at number 2 and from the 1st day I started prospecting and I didn’t do the math but your right that most people let me get past the opener/ first question. And had 1 appointment set and met my first week. And I doubled it my second week. Plus I have multiple buyers.
Thank you. That was great. I’m in the Insurance business and I get so many people hanging up right away. I’m going to try your script this afternoon. Again Thank you for the advice you have given me. I’m going to forward your information to and other info to a Huge number of Insurance Agents and Brokers.
For those scratching their heads, taking over 23 minutes to get to the point does at least 2 things: 1. The longer the video, the more opportunities for ad revenue. This guy doesn't work for free lol, and he knows people will listen until the end if they want his wisdom. 2. Everything leading up to the answer provides context and a deeper understanding. Overall, very good advice and video!

Completely agree. Too often is there clickbait with other “coaches” who put out controversial content just to entice views and viewer interaction for the algorithm but Brandon actually has meaningful value.
@ you have 3 seconds to hook the average listener. Not 23 minutes. What you say in the first 3 seconds determines IF people will listen to the next 23 minutes. I turned this video off after a minute. This expert salesman failed.
This is so true. The main reason I would rather hang up or not even answer the call is because I hate dealing with pushy people. These lines show so much care for the persons time and respect for their autonomy that they just feel obligated to hear what you have to say.
I tried this script when I first discovered the UK’s most hated sales trainer dude a couple years ago and it sounded awesome but it didn’t seem to work well for me as everyone kept taking me up on it and saying they want to hang up. So I gave it another shot using Brendon’s #1 script here. I was excited again but the results are not great for me again 25 contacts 80% say they want to hang up bc they do not want to sell or just say no thanks and hang up. Hey Brandon, thank you for this 👏👏👏 How do you handle the DNC list? Do you verify the numbers first? Can you get in trouble calling register numbers on the list? Thanks again 🙏
You contacted 100 people with each opening line, the percentage should be a full number! 70% is 70 out 100! how did you get 70.1% or 68.5% of the times?
Are these 'cold calls' from a list of people who have inquired or did an internet search to buy or sell? Or are these acquired from flipping a phone book and pointing at random names? The last line of the call, 'would you give me 30 to know why I called? I've had success by simply switching the word "know" with discover. 😊
I love this. Very helpful. So I do want to thank you and I just subscribed. However, if you asked each question to 100 people, where does the percentage fractions come from? 100 people equals 100%. 70 people equals 70%…not 70.8% 😂
I love your channel. I struggle most with no one answering the phone! Realistically I can dial for 2 hours and MAYBE get one person to pick up. I leave a voice message but it's rare for them to call me back. Do you have a solution for this? I've used Redx and Vulcan 7.
Actually, you got ten sentences, with statistics to convey the efficacy and some tips and tricks along the way. I can't imagine you'll ever be successful with that attitude.
Loved the video, and will be using some of these... but the question kept popping into my head as I was watching. If these results were based on 100 contacts each, how did all of your results have decimal points? 😂
Hey guys, I have a cold calling issue. I have been cold calling and I am average at it. Which is perfectly, fine. However, now I have started working for an Offshore accounting unit (india) and I am not able to get them talking. Earlier I was into software sales. My major problem: 1. Script - not able to design a perfect script for offshore accounting services. 2. ICP - ideal customer profile 3. Decision maker - CPA or Operations Manager or Operations Head.
35 years of cold calling even using old dial phones back in the day and many years before mobile phones . I still do it today because I like it and it works more today than ever before in decades of direct sales . Do you know why ? Because all the other dummies are emailing prospects which is a waste of time ! The number 10 opener should NEVER BE USED under any circumstances as how someone is doing that day is none of your business. If you are the boss of any company and you have a sales director using that he should be fired this evening. Looks like these calls are being made to end users but my background is business to business. Calling the general public is incredibly easy. Actually I would not use any of these angles . There are so many other methods that are no where near these techniques including face to face

I'm confused. If the goal is to ask the first question in the script to 100 contacts, then how do you get a fraction like 37.2? It has to be either 30 or 40%.
If you did 100 calls per each, how do you get a decimal number in any of them. anything out of 100 should end a whole number. So I ask you Brandon, is this all bullshit?

Amazing, thanks so much, I just wanted to know what we can answer if the prospect asks “How did you get my number?”
You got the number from a website that they used to search for homes or zillow maybe they don’t even remember
I’m confused. If you used these 100 times each why aren’t they sauces rated a flat number?
For example 38% of the time. 37.6% doesn’t add up…
Because I made 102 contacts sometimes, and then 94 sometimes, etc. is this all you go from this video?
How would the opener go if you dont have the name of the person? Lets say a LLC or a trust
If he is calling 100 contacts each time how is he getting a fraction of % results surely the approach either works or not
You must have been dialling the Glengarry leads
I'm confused. If the goal is to ask the first question in the script to 100 contacts, then how do you get a fraction like 37.2? It has to be either 30 or 40%.
Several of the groupings were slightly higher than 100. Some were like 106 calls in the test.
If you did 100 calls per each, how do you get a decimal number in any of them. anything out of 100 should end a whole number. So I ask you Brandon, is this all bullshit?
How do you have an 84.9% success rate out of 100 calls? It would either be 84% or 85%, right?
I thought he said 1k.
