internet already filling with comments about it not being hard enough 😂 its not even the full track preview. as if doing a 2+ minute track (with tech sections that arent really seen here) and then hitting 70+ footers is 'chill' lol
Well, what to say? Not many lines. But fast as f*ck. What did they do to the top? The new bottom continues the oversized SlopeStyle and again looks ‘big’. But is this a genuine Hardline? Not so certain. It’ll be fun to ride, fast, very close racing and fun to watch, that’s obvious. But worthy of the title Hardline, not so sure. It was…. maybe not now. Let’s see what’s added in the next few days.
Some of the best riders in the entire world making a super gnarly track look easy? Well I never! Sarcasm aside, the combo of world class riders and the infamous GoPro effect is working hard here to make the track look MUCH easier/more chilled than it is. Bear in mind the boys are just testing things and having fun here, not trying to ride as fast as possible. The top section (not shown in this vid) is much steeper and more technical. Also, during practice and the race, a lot of the smooth and fresh bits you see here will get chopped up, making them much more challenging. Average speed is insanely high, the features are huge and some very exposed, and most importantly the riders love the track - all sounds like a recipe for great racing to me!
I know the GoPro effect is real and I'm not saying I could hit any of those jumps but it all looks so manicured compared to the Welsh line and even most of the World Cup DH lines look gnarlier on GoPro... I think it's great that Hardline is branching out but I worry the series is going to slowly go the way of Rampage and end up another slope style event where it's all about massive jumps and nothing else.
@@AdamAllaker bruh its way more similar than people want to make it out to be. again, this video doesnt really show the tech. look at the section that took Goldstone out the first year. And it's high speed and tight. The only real issue of comparison is basically weather, which I think is cool about Wales but it also can cancel the event, of course. Hardline was never about the craziest tech. its not val di sole. its not mont sainte anne. its not snowshoe. the point was to have an all encompassing track. bit of everything. also i dont want riders suffering through arm pump and hitting 70 footers. i just want fast racing. it absolutely does not need to be more dangerous lol
YOOOO!!!! The new last bit was crazy. Gonna be an epic race. Props to all the trail builders, that trail looks soooo sick🤙
Gonna be a fast one 🥇💫
Insane looking addition

Just a big slope track. Where's the tech??

So I'm going to be controversial here, but it doesn't look very... Hard?

Fair enough. I'll get back in my box 😂
what's hard about it? this is a gravity park flow trail... LAME!
dumb, don't need the exaggerated lens
