This has gotta be one of the most insane MTB courses I've ever seen. Bouncing across those short jumps through narrow wood gaps was absolutely insane. The scenery's amazing, the banked turns are amazing, the shark-fin jumps are amazing, the drops are amazing, really great (and dangerous) track. I have no idea how you guys scouted that out.
Coming from Matt Jones channel watching his run down to watching this makes you realise how completely ridiculously fast these guys ride down a course with such technical and big features! Absolutely mad!
This level of ability on a bike is beyond my comprehension. The brain's data processing and the body's reactions are little short of super human. Mind blown.
The pace of these top-of-the-food-chain guys is just UNREAL. Obviously the massive jumps / drops are impressive but the composure and speed on that unpredictable, moondusty terrain is just crazy to watch.
The broadcast just looked bad with the stationary cameras. Watched a couple of runs and I thought there is no point I'll just wait for the POV runs to have something to look at. And yeah this looks absolutely great. Something actually interesting with this unique super high speed track. This is what I've wanted to see for a long time.
I do agree, there was part of the run where there wasn't even a camera - just waiting for the rider to come through. However, this is the first time in Tasmania so hopefully next year will be even better. Always good to hear Robs voice commentating as well!
I just wanna say props to red bull YT channel for not saying the rider name or "winning run" in the title... Can't stand when I see titles like that in my feed when I haven't had a chance to watch yet.
It’s so hard to wrap my head around, how this level of riding, is even possible, let alone without catostrophic injuries and/or fatalities every year, similar to that of say the Isle of Man TT. Performing like this, at these kinds of speeds, literally riding on the knife’s edge, and trusting your equipment, through this kind of treacherous terrain, is simply mind boggling. These guys and gals are incredible
for anyone who’s not a mtb rider and thinks this is sped up - that middle section around half way through the vid where he’s on the flat - is around 60 km/h
Lazaaa…. The jumps and drops are incredible but am I the only one more impressed by that long stretch with jump berm or feature every 2 seconds? Boing boing boing berm boing… i know the bikes are good but the precision to place the bike without oppsing up and climbing a tree…. ( god forbid)
I just watched an insane video! The rider in the video navigates through a challenging course at an intense speed. I can't imagine how the person recording the video felt when they finally reached the finish line. It must have been a mix of emotions - relieved, amazed, and perhaps even a little bit scared. The course looks incredibly challenging, with trees coming at you at what seems like an impossible speed. I can only imagine the rush of adrenaline and fear that must have coursed through the rider's veins. I'm curious to know the safe and record speeds for this course. Was it a demonstration or a race? It reminds me of rally driving where you do stages. If it was a race, who was the winner? Despite the challenges, the rider's skills are truly impressive, and I feel inspired to try it myself. I know it can be scary, but the rush of adrenaline takes the fear away. The video is so intense that you don't have much time to be scared watching it. I guess you need to commit, or you'll hurt yourself. I don't know much about this sport, so any suggestions of videos, or a written response would be kind. Hope you have a great weekend! ❤️💯✌️🫡 Edited * I just saw the two-hour-long coverage so that clears up a lot of questions. ✌️
its pretty nuts isnt it. i'd recommend the sport for sure - just go at your own pace and even going a quarter of the speed this guy is going will give you a great rush. nothing like being out there on the tracks.
This track/event was amazing but when the GoPro footage quality is better than the broadcast there is a problem. Yes it’s a challenging track to film. Tight between the trees, dark in the trees bright out side, very fast moving track, long track, not much space to get wides. But this broadcast was the worst quality I’ve ever seen from RB. The static, almost security camera quality. The handheld stuff was crash zooming in on the rider as they went past. Next to no colour. High frame rates looked very “video”. Yes the first time in Tassie but not RB’s first rodeo. Hardlines been going for 10 years but this one felt like the first event they had ever tried to film. Was very hard to watch.
I thought I accidentally set the video on 1.25 speed, absolutely enormous!
Same!
So did the editor /uploader..
The trail builders in Tasmania did an insane job, hats off to all those who put in many hours to make this amazing line.
Absolutely!! They have some sweet trails down there but this was absolutely world class..
Thats insane speed! What a ride!
yeeaaaa easy to end up in wheel chair for life

A breath taking run... So good!!

Mind blown.
they just float over rocks as theyve got wings, its insane
They must’ve drank redbull
with enough mussel memory you don't have to think about it you just do it but still you have to know its coming
What a wicked event!!! Loved the build up and the coverage today. Great way to start the day!!!

These riders are next level. I can't imagine going that fast or thinking that quickly. I'm not this good at anything. Hats off to the best!
Lmao. Same. There'd be 3 trees with blood on it about 5 metres from the start gate if that was me 🤣
@@timp1390i’m not sure I’d get enough speed in those 5 meters for my blood splatter to hit 3 trees.
@@nathanveizer3237 😂😂
That track looks flippin amazing. Stunning riding!
That top half looks so techy, it’s amazing how fast you guys are able to get through it!
the speed is insane I can feel the effort through the sound I feel you bro thank you ❣️
Jeez, I felt like I shouldn't blink, and I was just watching it on UA-cam. Imagine having to blink while actually on that course!
It's crazy watching the speed that the pro's take on course, skipping through sections like they're bearly there and making it all appear so easy...
Crazy! I couldn´t even see the upcoming line most of the time

Maybe they had trouble with the live signal because they were in the middle of nowhere.
@@zajc1948 No. Has nothing to do with image quality. It just looks boring when you have stationary cameras.
can you tell me what speed they can achieve on this course, please?

@@Erebusdidnothingwrongish I think in speed tap they were hitting over 55KPH - probably quicker in the lower sections too
What an amazing FAST line! This might get up there with Hardline as my favorite courses. That was excellent.
your creativity blows me away!
WOW!!!....Fooking hey! That was incredible fast courageous run. congrats on surviving it. your the man!
I suddenly have this crazy urge to play Downhill Domination again😂.. Sick run🔥🔥
Wow!!! The man made it look like a red run at your local bike park. Hats off 👏
Incredible how one humans sense of sight, balance, judgement, steering, courage, reflexes can achieve. I'm gobsmacked. Well done!
Incredible DH coarse, Incredible venue.
Just bloody Incredible!

The chest cam shots of race pace runs are insane! Truly Hardline!
the drop at 1:05 was huge!

That is incredible
😮unglaublich Weltklasse
It's beyond human limits.
Insane ! Defo not speeded up !? It looks soooo fast . Amazing
Heart rate is up just watching. Cant wait to get back to the mountain
This is insane! Great battle.

Man. The highway section is so damn fast but so smooth!!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤩INCREIBLE Felicidades👍💪🤩
Was this the real speed or they just make it faster in the video?
Wow, so impressive and breathtaking!
Great video
Definetly a Young Mans Sport!
Its much more brutal and fast than the broadcast
I think I was about the break the fabric of space n time watching this 😱😱😱
Respect 💪😃
I watched it at speed x0.5 to be able to capture what was happening 🤯 mind blowing run
What a speed

How on EARTH did you guys get this lighting so spot on in this conditions?! Impressive🙏🏼 Speaking of impressive…Sick, síck riding 🤘🏼😎🤘🏼
2:42 is crazy! so fast these guys don't need berms.
Warp speed! Insane.
really chunky in some places right before a jump or drop. Also the blind turns behind a tree or something are just insane
unbelievable 👍
Cool race bro salut😮
Wow 😳🧐😉😀 Respect 👍🏻🙏🏻🍻
incroyable 🥵
AFTER SEEING CONOR how fast he was
they stepped up more mental
so god damn fast!!
It even looks fast in 0.25x playing speed 😮 wow!
Fair crowd there!
Mantap
I can’t fathom riding at this speed on a track like this
O YEA 🤘🤘🔝
Real man 🤘
Thật tài giỏi!
💪
i dont understand how this video is not sped up. the whistles and breathing tells me otherwise, but my eyes cannot keep up
I got arm pump from holding my phone while watching this.
downhill ❤
Insane, I had to check if my video speed is correct 🤯
The fact that this isn't the fastest the course was ridden that day blows my mind

Man those guys literaly ride on the absolutely limit
🔥💀
Shame Ronan Dunne didn’t have a GoPro on for his run!
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
J'ai rarement vu une vidéo de vélo autant abusée 🤌👌
Love seeing a run down a track that hasn't been obliterated by rain for once 😂
I'd love to know his actual speed down there ?? Incredible
Smooth as
Still feel bad for goldstone
Man, after he hits that last drop it feels like hes cruising at 40mph through the last section.
This is so crazy, what is the speed in the section between 1:30 - 2:00 ?
