now THIS is freeride!! Reminds me of the very first couple of Rampage events - finding sweet lines down sick terrain no need for tricks just style for miles and balls of steel. Props to Gee and his crew for another truly amazing ridgeline vid! You've come a long way since seeing you make a crazy tree root gap at PORC waaaaay back in the days (muddyfox era)
You brits are delusional, stop trying to pigeonhole what freeride is. If Gee could trick these features he would! You know what looks cooler than a a steezy straight air? A steezy trick. Sorry the sport is progressing and your favorite riders are riding like it’s still 2002
Exactly what I was thinking whilst watching that. THIS IS FREERIDE., So pure, the ridiculous riding, beautiful filming, incredible location. This is the crem de la crem of mtb videos, amazing.
as born and raised Mountain Biker from Almaty Kazakhstan, the big city that surrounds the mountains in the video, i'am so proud that people are exploring my country outside of BORAT Boundaries, we have a lot of different mountain ranges - and very big filming potential for segments like this. We also have 3 bike parks, that are fun and beginner and expert friendly.
You could see it almost went wrong and the post landing bounce to off camber rock strewn landing was unexpected. He rode it out on a knife edge of skill and luck but knew he was in the hands of the gods for a second there.
Looks like Gee is closer to being Global than "GMBN", by venturing in the biggest continent in the world which also had the highest peaks in the world 😅
Oh my god! Honestly, I don't follow extreme bike sport, but when I found out that you were here, I decided to watch this video, it really was amazing. Kazakhstan is my native country, and even I am surprised by your mastery of cycling and by these views. Thank you!
I grew up in Kazakhstan so it's awesome to see someone riding the trails we rode as kids! They look just as gnarly as I remember when we built them in the 90s!
Incredible Gee, the team, Redbull, and the Kazak people! This just makes me want to go explore whether that’s on the bike, rope, kayak, or feet. Invigorating video to keep getting after it and go travel to see the world
Bloody Hell, it's been a long time, since a MTB film hit me this hard. Absolutely marvolus, especially weaving through the tight winding shoot was surreal.
Epic Quest Complete ✅ Minute 4:54 (gaps) gave me chills. There are no “lines”. He is making them up basically live. Epic riding. AND epic filming. In particular those narrow channels where the drone is following him tight. Almost looks like another rider following him close!
absolutely incredible. you goddamn legends!!!! mind blowing riding. phenomenal cinematography. brilliant fpv drone shots. stunning stunning stunning. this might be the best mountain biking video I've ever seen.
My favorite Ridgeline-Vid so far! Especially the Chuteriding-Footage!! Awesome Freeridespirit here!!! Stop saying you wont't do that again, Gee. No one believes that 😊
Aaaah! Very cool! Usually I walk carefully with tourists in these mountains, but this man forgot about gravity! Many thanks to the film crew for the magnificent shooting of the landscape of the desert mountains of Aktau! You guys are super!!!
Well done! I much preferred this over previous iterations of Ridgeline. More techy lines, more natural terrain, less super big hiiiiiiiigh consequence features (I mean it's still proper big hucks in this video, that I wouldn't even think of). This is mountainbiking!
Gee showed it to us when he was visiting Exeter last week at his event. At times, when you looked at the crowd from the side, every third or fourth person had their mouth open, watching it. What an experience! See you at Dyfi!
Best bike thing I have seen since Gee raced James May! Stunning location, great camera work, insane riding. The pace on the behind the scenes and the riding was spot on. I thought Gee was going to hit the wall of the canyon at one point. Best ridgeline video so far.
you're such an insane , inpriational rider Gee , you hit it hard and if it goes wrong you're straight back hitting it again ! love these ridgeline videos
WOW!! Pt. 2 is bonkers. Blasting down that slot canyon looks sketchy but so fun. That section at the end with the long consecutive jumps. Do you see that field of sharp rocks he's landing among? NO WAY! And that last jump with the double bounce scared me. I'm so glad he saved it. The whole thing is just bonkers. Gee, you're a unique monster.
🚲✨🤩That was sick, great bike riding concept in a remote place in a foreign land, the purest freeride spirit and soul has definitely been achieved and shown to us all... I hope you guys keep visiting far away countries with this original little project which besides showing sick lines being riddenit alro allows us all to get to know the beautiful landscapes that Mother Nature has created for us all to see by means of the movie and that sure is a really beautiful thing😏🌲⛰️🌳🏞️🌵🏜️👏🏻🇵🇹🇳🇱🙋🏻♂️.
Totally awesome... Freee riding at its absolute best. I will be watching this again and again. This videos in this Ridgeline series are the very best of freeride videos.
Left me completely speechless. The way you captured the intensity and unique thrill of the ride and place was beyond amazing. Thank you for sharing such incredible content.
Wow😮 Just WOW. Well done. Look at the beautiful nature out there. I had goosebombs all over my body watching this. Such a incredable work! Thank you so much for that masterpiece❤
I have to say....for myself....that's the best film ,you have done ,the rawness, the freeride feel the feel of the whole film ,made me wanna be there ,and ride it .... (not that I could ,as my skill level ,is shit !!! )fantastic ...loved it !!!!!
A seriously good piece of work, cinematography and riding! Well done Gee, crew and Kazakhstan for enabling this epic to be made! You also got a pair of boulders Gee, & serious trust in your bikes! Massive slap on back! Epic old school Rampage!
Do you ever have one of those dreams where you're riding way beyond your actual ability on something super-technical? I hope this landscape makes an appearance in my dreams soon. Absolutely mental riding, Gee!
You’re so inspiring… I’m keep on recovering from a serious injury while free climbing two years ago (almost lose my left foot…) and watch you riding so hard such a sketchy lines after your last crash and your terrible injury makes me keep pushing myself forward… legend! 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Knocked this one out of the park! What a beautiful video, and straight up powerful riding from Gee. Gets my vote for the best mountain bike video I’ve ever seen
Absolutely insane work, Gee! Linking up those drops, mega drop-ins and steep chutes! This was an absolute banger that reminds me of the early freeride videos that got me into MTB in the early 2000's. Keep up the awesome work and glad to see you were able to keep the rubber down on those gnarly lines!
Amazing stuff by Gee and the crew! What a beautiful landscape and what beautiful riding! After that previous Ridgeline crash I was afraid we wouldn't see this kind of thing anymore, but Gee appears undaunted, mentally and physically
Watched this last Tuesday at your talk in Buxton. It was a bloody good night with plenty of anecdotes and entertaining footage. You and your siblings are phenomenal athletes and superb ambassadors for the sport.
blown away...again.. how you find these places is beyond me but keep doing what you do, it takes the wind out of staged show events like Rampage. True freeride on untouched terrain by a team dedicated to pushing the boundaries. I'd love to see a collab between you and Danny Macaskill since you've both done 'Ridge' shoots.
It's nice to see that you guys decided to go somewhere other than the typical spots in Europe and Turtle Island. There's so much natural beauty across Asia and Africa....including the highest peaks in the world. Stay safe Gee! Amazing skills and willingness.
This has to be my favourite Ridgline!!! congratulations to the whole team and specially Gee; amazing riding so smooth... the whole scene the locations and everything just beautiful. its so enjoyable to watch!!!
National Gee-ographic ;-) absolutely stunning!

Perfect place to host a “proper” freeride event
You brits are delusional, stop trying to pigeonhole what freeride is. If Gee could trick these features he would! You know what looks cooler than a a steezy straight air? A steezy trick. Sorry the sport is progressing and your favorite riders are riding like it’s still 2002
PORC Brings back so many memories
@@45H4WSame. Travelled all the way from East Yorkshire a few times to ride there, loved it.

When Gee turns around and shakes his head at the camera you know it was pretty gnarly! 😅 Well done everyone involved, great film, awesome scenery!
You could see it almost went wrong and the post landing bounce to off camber rock strewn landing was unexpected. He rode it out on a knife edge of skill and luck but knew he was in the hands of the gods for a second there.

Oh wow. That was insane 🔥💯
Cheers Guys, my favourite spot to ride so far!
Dear Red Bull. This is what we want to see at Rampage. No manicured lines.
@@Killeenster Yeah, man! May you be heard.
Brendog was robbed RedBull
@@Killeensteryou talking about Redbull Rampage Slopstyle?😂😂
Maybe Rampage should come one day to Kazakhstan 😅
Really good idea!
Tought the very same
To Borat's mother land
@ 😂😂😂
likely they'd fuck it up there to..
I'm calling it now. Best edit of 2024. 👍
thank you mate, it was a lot of fun

That! THAT IS RAMPAGE SOUL!
Thank you Mr. Gee for this feelings again!
It's amazing to see how Gee manages to produce a riding so engaged after his huge crash. Definitely one of the greatest mtb rider !
which huge crash? 🙈
@0harris0 2021 crash in Wales. You can get the video on UA-cam.
That run that starts at 7:25 is absolutely incredible! The bike control is a thing of beauty to watch
You know that when Gee says "that was gnarly", some insanity has just happened. Love it.
Gee always pushing the boudries! 🔥💪 Respect to him for the determination!
What a beautiful country Kazakhstan🇰🇿 is!
That canyon runs looked so damn fun to ride. Amazing work as always all involved. Also, got a bit of a Top Gear vibe with this one.
Thanks man, such a wild spot
it's hard to imagine a better Gee than this version of the last few years, what a dude who is surely living his best life, congrats fella, well earned
Hands down one of the most awe-inspiring mountain bike films I've ever seen.
Totally agree, awesome everything.
Thanks "G" for showing us your masterpiece of FREERIDING in 2024! you´re a living legend!!
Now that's a Rampage
Anti-progression. Sick clip but not comp worthy
Incredible Gee, the team, Redbull, and the Kazak people! This just makes me want to go explore whether that’s on the bike, rope, kayak, or feet. Invigorating video to keep getting after it and go travel to see the world

Epic Quest Complete ✅
Minute 4:54 (gaps) gave me chills.

Epic riding. AND epic filming. In particular those narrow channels where the drone is following him tight. Almost looks like another rider following him close!
Wow, that’s talent and the camera work deserves praise also👌👏
Hard to imagine what it must be like to have Gee’s skill set and confidence. Stunning video
Best Ridgeline yet, astounding and beautiful in equal measure. Just breathtaking .
I love this more than most MTB stuff I’ve seen in a while. Much more raw terrain. I get tired of watching people ride manicured jumps and lines
cutting edge of shreddiness, heart and soul of MTB
Unlike the last few ones of these, relieved that I didn’t feel like I was gonna die by just watching it
absolutely incredible. you goddamn legends!!!! mind blowing riding. phenomenal cinematography. brilliant fpv drone shots. stunning stunning stunning. this might be the best mountain biking video I've ever seen.
Kazakhstan looks epic what a destination for mountain biking in the future
I’ve watched thousands of bike videos over the years and this may be the best one of them all. Gee is the GOAT
Cheers man, very kind
My favorite Ridgeline-Vid so far! Especially the Chuteriding-Footage!! Awesome Freeridespirit here!!! Stop saying you wont't do that again, Gee. No one believes that 😊
That’s so cool! Great advert for free ride, the country, the bike and the rider. Hats off once again. Better than a front flip, seen loads of them 😂
"absolutely horrific" - good summary, Gee! 😆 legend!
my favorite mtb film was kranked 4 until THIS. Congratulation to all the crew. Gee is really a wild nice guy.
THIS IS RAMPAGE!! REAL FREE RIDING!! THE GOAT FOR A REASON!
Putting everything on the line again , this man is a legend!

Mad props to the drone pilot too. That was sick af!
Your candidness about taking things slow and being safe is so humbling as we see you hit MASSIVE jumps and steep lines
We don't call you the GOAT for no reason! Man I love you brother!!! Keep doin you. You're KILLIN it!
Im watching this just before I was about to ride myself.....but heebeegeeesseeeess q cojones mate my respect !!! What a beautiful country.
Gee, you madman. That line inside the gorge, a thing of pure beauty. Thank you!
Best bike thing I have seen since Gee raced James May! Stunning location, great camera work, insane riding. The pace on the behind the scenes and the riding was spot on. I thought Gee was going to hit the wall of the canyon at one point. Best ridgeline video so far.
Incredible video. Absolutely insane speed and not a groomed landing in sight. Gnarly stuff!
The gully line was incredible, totally natural terrain and it had so much flow! 👌
Truly awesome. Glad you stayed in one piece Gee!
I fell many times while watching the video and my aching knees got more pain. But I can't stop watching these. You are amazing..
Of course the riding is amazing Gee still has it in spades, but the cinematography and line choices - wow!!!

a normal person in my point of view wouldn't ask "why", this is life! Another great video! This is Freeride!
Epic.
There is no other word that can be used to describe this, other than "EPIC".
Rampage terrain on steroids! Insane riding in beautiful remote mountains. Great work Gee and the crew 🤙
The speed trough that narrow canyon is mind blowing! Great video and what a country to ride on
Emence, graphic and exhilerating. Gets the heart racing.
Gee props to you and your crew! Epic and what a terrain!
Looking forward to Ridgeline VII 🤟🏼
Freeride is alive! Damn good that is, true sense of exploration and pushing the limits of extreme riding ❤
It's mad how much it looks like you're skiing when you weave down those loose steep slopes! The stuff in the canyons was unreal as well
