Hey guys! So this video did not include driving impressions bc there is an embargo on that until 3/14 at 6am EST. We will be posting a separate video on the Nautilus Hybrid and it will include driving scenes with the hybrid and non-hybrid engines. Stay tuned!
Just got this same car for my wife but with the redwood interior and the hybrid. A few points of interest for those like me who have been researching this car for a while: 1. The redwood interior is incredible. Some videos make it seem almost pinkish which concerned me. It is not. It is a rich reddish/brown. We rolled the dice hoping to like it and now we are obsessed with it. 2. The 310 hp hybrid delivers plenty of punch. Very quick. Been driving in excite mode on mountain roads and have been averaging over 31 mpg. Runs on regular octane and still running my first tank of gas almost a week later. The ECVT transmission has been smooth and after researching it I have no doubt it will be reliable as it shares no mechanical characterisics of the old school belt/chain cvt’s that people hated. 3. I’m 6’3” and all seats are very comfortable with plenty of leg and head room in the backseats unlike my wife’s Velar which had cramped back seats. 4. As some have worried, the screens did glitch on me before I even got it off the lot. Service squared it away quickly and it’s been no problem since. Found out there is a way to reset the screens manually by holding down the volume button for 10 seconds. Hope I don’t have to use this technique but nice to know I can if I have to. Anyway, so far so good. Absolutely love it one week in. Let’s hope it lasts!

Congrats Lincoln for waking it up a bit with this new design. I will say Lincoln does amazing interiors and give a true feel of American luxury with plush leather and soft touch materials. The massive digital display and integrated door handles are first of its kind.
Totally agree. I’ve stated a few times that while I have preferred Cadillac’s more “avant garde” exterior, I do feel that Lincolns have a far more sophisticated and luxurious interior. By the looks of things, however, Lincoln has certainly caught up with (if not surpassed) Cadillac as far as external design.

Every reviewer seems to purposely omit the fact that this is a Chinese Lincoln. It isn’t built in North America like the previous generation. Unfortunately in Ford’s race to electrify a large part of their product, they decided to retool the Oakville, Ontario, Canada plant to produce electric vehicles. The plant in China is a joint venture between FoMoCo and a Chinese group controlled by the Chinese government. That plant has been known to source parts from a variety of suppliers known for human rights violations. Moreover, this particular vehicle may be subject to a 75% tariff later this year. Neither Ford nor Lincoln mention this in their handouts to Lincoln stores. It’s kind of funny how Lincoln “forgets” to include information on where the Nautilus is assembled and the the country of origin for parts and drivetrain on the vehicle window sticker. I presently drive a 2023 Nautilus Black Label which I am very happy with. It is my 6th Lincoln. I will not be considering Lincoln when I replace the car I drive in 2026.
@richb5322 I hear you rich. But let's be honest Americans really don't care about Chinese manufacturers in general. If so Apple's iphone dominates the US market with a 58% share. No way that should be if Americans truly cared about Chinese manufactured products. Just a thought 🤔

it looks fantastic, but it’s a Lincoln. Quality control is total garbage on their cars, this thing will start deteriorating quickly. They’ve never built a truly great car
While getting our Lincoln serviced I talked to the tech about the new Chinese made Nautilus. Surprisingly, the fit and finish - panel gaps, plastic, stitching, switchgear, etc. - is better than last year's US made Nautilus. The dashboard/information tech is glitching and they have already had several service bulletins to try and correct it.
Ok.. woah. Hopefully the tech is reliable because the interior is beautiful. The normal sized screen is golden! The ability to darken most of the large screen is perfect too. With a sliding rear seat 👀 They really tried with this!
Very amazing stuff and stands out from the competition. However, I am worried about the fact Ford and Lincoln are always the BOTTOM of the dependability charts even into 2024. When a Jeep compass soars above any Lincoln or ford in “dependability” it does make me nervous. More of a lease Queen?
Have an MKC. Leased for $399 back in 2019 sign and drive. With inflation I’ll go for $449 for a new and even $499 for the Nautilus. Likely laughed out of the dealership. Just an FYI most reviewers are confusing on what is leather and what is soft plastic. Maybe invest a day at a tannery. I doubt the manufacturers are using “leather stitching” on plastic trim. Think of your baseball glove. Great review as always.

Not a bad looking vehicle, but $74k - $80k for a 4 cylinder!?!? They done lost their minds! At my age, no way in hëLL I would ever pay that price for this vehicle. Not only that, but it's just an average size SUV, with all the technological components that have been out for years already; the aesthetics of the front dash being the only big talking point since they are the 1st of this design. If you actually think about it though, Samsung came out with the curved glass TV all the way back in 2013, & now that the Lincoln Nautilus is made in China, doesn't sound like it would be too difficult for them to work with Samsung to incorporate a curved display into a vehicle, seeing that this technology is already 11 years old. I've said this before & I'll say it again.. ever since Lincoln went to their all SUV line up, the brand has gone downhill. My wife & I have been Lincoln enthusiasts since our 1st purchase back in 2002 (Lincoln LS). We've owned almost every vehicle they have come out with, but I switched to Genesis in 2021 since I'm not a fan of SUV's. She currently has a 2022 Aviator & we can easily tell the overall build of the vehicle is extremely poor compared to past Lincoln vehicles we've owned. It's been in the shop 5 times already due to dumb, simple things breaking, all pertaining to hard plastic parts that they used throughout the vehicle. Speaking of their concierge service that they offer, yes, it is convenient that they will come to you & drop you off a loaner while they take your vehicle in to be serviced. 2 problems I have with this.. 1) they tell you the loaner will be the exact same or "equivalent" to what you have, but that was a flat out lie. Each time they took her vehicle, the loaner was a Ford Escape. ALL 5 TIMES! & the last time they took the Aviator, they kept it for 5 days. What planet are they on where they call a Lincoln Aviator & a Ford Escape equivalent vehicles? 2) you have no idea what kind of driver is taking your vehicle. As soon as you lose line of sight, they could beat the hëLL out of it, scratch it, hit something, etc. That whole concierge service is a scam, IMO; just another selling point that appears like its a positive add-on after purchasing the vehicle, but really isn't. I don't know if the astronomical rate of inflation recently has gotten me to my current mindset, but I'm having a difficult time really purchasing anything other than absolute necessities. Corporations just keep raising the values of products on things they know are not accurate. With how things are now, Lincoln reminds me of DIYer's that flip houses.. use a ton of cheap materials that give the illusion of luxury, but underneath it all is really just a bunch of products from Dollar General. NOTHING is built like it used to be, & they want to nickel & dime you for EVERY LITTLE THING, & most importantly, on things you don't really need.
when are they going to come out with the Lincoln town car is they planning on making or should I say? Are they planning on coming back with the Lincoln town cars later on in the future
We'll see........ it could very well be THIS Lincoln instead of a Lexus. This is a better looking car than any Lexus; let's wait and see what the driving dynamics and quality are like.
I really wish UA-camrs would just start being honest. We all know y'all don't actually give a single f**k about what we think of the design. You just want us to comment to boost your video with the UA-cam algorithms. I always cringe when I hear a youtuber say, "Comment below, and let me know what you think." Or "What's your opinion? Comment below and let me know." Just say it. You're NOT gonna actually ready any of them because YOU don't give a s**t. Someone on your team MIGHT read a few of them. But even they don't give a s**t.
Did you get lost and you stumbled onto YT by accident?? This is a so-called social media where people can leave comments and discuss things with other commenters. The comments vary a lot, but I've been learning quite a bit from some of them (on many subjects). Some YT creators do not read any comments, some read mostly comments made to very recent uploads, some read new comments when they can. I know this, because I am getting responses to some of my comments; made even to some older videos. Many creators with a small number of followers read all comments. This is impossible when the number of comments becomes very large. As the old, but correct, saying is: It all depends.
80k are you nuts ???...stop with the stupid 22 in wheels...36 way adjustable seats..36 speaker audio system...pillar to pillar screens and build a quiet car that can take a pothole with out feeling like you just broke some part of the suspension at a realistic price

Beautiful design on both interior and exterior. However, 250 hp on a vehicle weighing north of 4300 lbs is a little lackluster. 10-12 lbs per hp range would be the sweet spot.

Is the corsair escape sized?
Yes
Corsair = escape
Nautilus = edge (don’t make the edge anymore in the US 4:34)
Aviator = explorer
Navigator = expedition
when are they going to come out with the Lincoln town car is they planning on making or should I say? Are they planning on coming back with the Lincoln town cars later on in the future
Beautiful vehicle although I found it to be a bit underpowered.
A Lincoln instead of a Lexus? I DON'T THINK SO😎
At least the Lincoln looks good. Lexus looks like it went through a chain link fence.
Ha, good one!@@66skate
I think you meant to say “Lexus over Lincoln? I don’t think so”
Ha, I don't think so😎@@naveenthemachine
We'll see........ it could very well be THIS Lincoln instead of a Lexus. This is a better looking car than any Lexus; let's wait and see what the driving dynamics and quality are like.
Yay, oscillating vents! 1 month later...... My vents broke and don't move anymore 😭😂
Call Lincoln to come and fix it and leave a Lincoln loaner until it's fixed and then bring my car back to me. Sweet deal really.
I love Lincoln’s designs, but I think the front end is a step back compared to the previous one imo.
beautiful
9:35 You probably meant "Navigator" right?
She's a looker, no doubt ;).
I guess they could do a sample size but this video alone has hundreds of comments. No way they have time to read and respond to even 20 percent.
@johnjacob1962 call Dr Phil 😄🤷♀️
Lol you okay bro? Who hurt you? 😅😂
Absolutely gorgeous. Build quality is a concern. Time will tell.
Don’t worry, it’s not made by the UAW so build quality will be exceptional
I want it!
Cadilac Escalade already has a MUCH bigger front screen in the 50 Plus side to side (it's MASSIVE) maybe too big..? This one is nice:)
I guess it’s impressive but my 4.2 in helper screen in my gauge cluster can do most of that info display but I guess not all at once lol
I really like this and it's only 2 rows just the right size for me
Very nice Lincoln just wish there was a twin turbo six cylinder option especially for 80k. 250 horsepower is not enough for the price
The drivers seat doesn't slide back far enough. Making it cramped
Right, I test drove this, and that was my one complaint.
Why is there an embargo when this car has already been released ???? I have seen them on the road lol
The amount of stuff that can break on this car is hilarious.
That's true on all modern cars. COVID proved that with computer chip shortages.
80k are you nuts ???...stop with the stupid 22 in wheels...36 way adjustable seats..36 speaker audio system...pillar to pillar screens and build a quiet car that can take a pothole with out feeling like you just broke some part of the suspension at a realistic price
Just wish it came with the 3.0
Who let my man get on UA-cam and mispronounce chalet. He is good at his job and someone around him should have caught and corrected that. You are still one of our favorite car guys Sofyan. The Sha-let just caught me off guard and hurt my ears.
Don’t worry, that was fixed in the video we filmed today and it will post next Thursday! It was a long travel day from the East Coast to get there and that was a silly oversight! 🙃
Looks unique and awesome but if I spend 80k and it lags like a early model android 🤬
I love the look of the new Nautilus, but like GM did with the Buick Envision, am completely against it being made in China. Let’s keep the American brands in America! 🇺🇸 It’s not that difficult. #UAWStrong
Previous one was made in Canada.
I hear you sir. But let's be honest Americans really don't care about Chinese manufacturers in general. If so Apple's iphone dominates the US market with a 58% share. No way that should be if Americans truly cared about Chinese manufactured products. Just a thought 🤔
Beautiful design on both interior and exterior. However, 250 hp on a vehicle weighing north of 4300 lbs is a little lackluster. 10-12 lbs per hp range would be the sweet spot.
That's the one thing that kept me from buying. I bought a 23 Black Label instead with the 2.7 V6. that makes 335HP. I so wanted that new screen. but the powertrain was more important to me.
@@66skateWin win all around. Choices for power train for those who want that extra power and the new screen version for those who don't require the additional hp.
That screen is a little much for my taste pillar to pillar too much a distraction while driving but the exterior design is nice love the 22 inch wheels and the interior except that screen could do without two 12 inch displays would have been just fine
Super nice
"No more Ford Edge for the US" correction, no more Ford Edge for NA as Edge was discontinued.
No more Ford Edge I just found many sources so sad.
$80k? Think it will be able to compete with the x5 phev with more power & 50 miles of range for $78k - $7,500 tax credit?
where is it made?
this is not JUST DI...but both DI and port.
Love it
