- This is so simple and so delicious. Bung it all in a dish, whack it in the oven and from the mess will arise an incredible tasting dessert with its own addictively rich Chocolate Orange Sauce. Incredible!

+Evgenia Roumbesi Yep we're with you on that one! Nice to enjoy the combination in more than a Terry's Chocolate Orange.
The Happy Foodie ::-) :-) :-)
+Evgenia Roumbesi I LOVE that combo too - it can be a cliche, but hey, this is why cliches are cliches - they work!!! Love it (apologies too for delay responding. We've been a bit tied up!) xx
+The Happy Foodie You're so right, and this is a Terrys Times Ten! We love it... and Chocolate Oranges come to think of it.
I want to eat that right now. Looks fantastic 😀😋
+In The Kitchen With Jonny thank you - yes it's a real treat. Try it - you will ADORE it, I promise. x
Looks amazing! Love your videos!
+Rebecca Thieme Thanks Rebecca, so nice to have you along. Sorry too to take so long to respond - we're normally a darn sight quicker, just been overwhelmed with other stuff recently. Soz xx
Hi Sacha and Minion, OMGOODNESS that looks so so good Sacha, I'm sure it tastes absolutely amazing to. I think I'm going to have to store this gorgeousness away for a few months. We have 3 holidays to look forward to this year, and unless I go out and buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes I have to be good, and work off the effects of a very naughty Christmas and 3 immediate family birthdays plus Wayne's on Monday meaning another birthday meal out and birthday cake (your chocolate cake) after and for the next few days. I will make this great looking pudding, only later rather than sooner. Big hugz and love 🌺🌼🌸🌼🌺🌼🌸🌼🌺 xxxxxxx
+Elaine Howard Happy Belated Birthday Wayne!! and yes, we're on mad diets at the mo to slim down for our Summer holiday in Mexico... diving again, now that Minion's heart is fixed and he's been officially released from 'medical' supervision. Hurrah. This dessert is a fav of ours... we've made it for a couple of years, and only this month realised we hadn't ever made it for you here. Crazy huh. I don't think we thought it was telegenic enough, but oh my does it taste good. Let us know when you finallly succumb. xx
Oh my darling Sacha, no matter how long I have to be away I can always count on coming back to my favorite food magician to find all kinds of gems . . . my gratitude forever ;) Donna C.
+Donna C aw you're too kind, and welcome back (though apologies it's taken two weeks to say that... been a bit manic here! For reasons too dull to bore you with!) This is a delicious recipe, do try it some time, it'll be your new 'go-to' I reckon :) xx
This is a perfect recipe for all of us with a sweet tooth. Yum!
+FunFoods ... and for a British winter... it's the perfect warming comfort food.
nom nom nom. Perfect cold night treat. Doesn't get better than that!
+Darcy Ashley It doesn't... this is such a winter hit in our house... I wonder if I could works some spices into the orange to make it even more wintry-fragrant *coggs turn* we'll see :) xx
This is delicious, the orange and chocolate combo is amazing !
Because I only have a microwave and I live alone (#UniLife), I cut all the ingredients by half (I kept 2 eggs) and I microwaved it for about 30 minutes on the lowest position and it came out perfect :)
Thanks from France
+JulesJuliette That's so good to know... though surprised it took so long in the microwave. ANd what a great treat at Uni... you need lift-me-ups when all that study gets you down. You're in France studying? Minion's nephew (from France) has come here to Leicester to do his studies... so we should get him involved and do some student recipes, perhaps.
+Totally Sacha Yes it was long but my microwave is kinda of old !
You're right, sometimes you need to treat yourself to study even better ;)
Yes I am studying in the South of France, but I am originally from Normandy :)
Hahaha it would be awesome if Minion's nephew would do some student recipes or maybe French specialities !
Hi sacha! That looks really delicious. I'm baking for my work colleagues soon, might try this. Is it possible to make the sauce separately? Many thanks x
+SuperEils So sorry for the delay - we normally respond same day or day after at the latest! This is a great one to make up in two containers if you need to travel it (ie to work) you can mix the dish part, and take the sugar and cocoa to just add seperately to water later. However, I've never tried cooking the sauce separately ... I'm sure you could make it as an addition on its own, but I think the 'sponge' element benefits from this soaking through it and helps make it moist and yummy. (But if you wanted extra sauce, heck yes - just boil this mixture down until its thick! Though it won't have the orangeyness, I realise, as I write that!) xx
+Totally Sacha thank you so much x
Omg this looks like the best dessert ever!!!
+C Why thank you - high praise! It's bally good, you'll love it - and with ice-cream or cream it's pretty up there with the best dessert ever (and very forgiving to make... as it's not a looker, after all!) Haha xx
WOW !AMAZING RECIPE...YUMMMY😋
My pudding turned soggy... cake batter ddint turn cakey but it was too soggy...why is dat?
Wow no words mouth is watering lol
+lisa stitt Hahah.... two weeks on? I"m sure you're cured. Soz for the delay - thanks for commenting, it's lovely to have you along :) xx
Making this now! Fingers crossed.
Oh yes I've made these self saucing pudding cakes before, they're delicious with ice cream on top 😊 yum looks fantastic
+FitAnge S They are so good aren't they? It's in the ilk of Sticky Toffee Pudding, but the choc and orange combo is to die for. We love this, and often forget how good it is, then go through fits and starts of making it every chance we get! haha .xx
Yum!!! I'd like to try it with dark chocolate :)
+Nicole Ernst Boris Mix it up however you fancy, I think with Chocolate you can't go wrong !!!!
True :)
O Sacha you naughty boy; this is a pud that I could eat, and eat, and eat... you get me, right, I would not be able to stop eating this! I am definitely giving this a whirl. Chocolate orange is my one weakness...
+0003Zeb Oh Zeb it's a diet-killer... we've had three of them in the last fornight (with friends, I hasten to add!) but it's just too easy and too moreish.... we may need to stop this channel before we get too lardy! hahaha. Hugs to you, lovely xx
+Totally Sacha I made this pud on Sunday, and boy was it good. It was even good the next day! I did try and send some pics of it in the oven cooking and the finished product. It was DELICIOUS!!! Give Syd a big squeeze from me, and if Min behaves, he can have one too. XXX
We haven't got a microwave (It died and we're about to move house, and the new one has integrated one), and we had some left overs of it cold last night, and it was STILL good, I think it's become one of our most faved and forgiving desserts ever :) haha So so glad you like it as much as we do xx
Min sends love, and syd sends fur!! hahahaha xx
This looks heavenly!
+Nadi Da It's heavenly with a with a devilish glint in its eye :) xx
Oh my, so delicious Sacha!!! I love adding citrus to chocolate it lifts everything up ;-)
+SushiLover1990 Me too... and there's so few things it doesn't work in, even most savouries improve with a little citrus kick! (my dieting stir-fries certainly do!) xx
You're a chocolate sweet genius!! This looks amazing! I need to hop on a plane and move in😊
+Cat Foxx Aw I I love that description. May add it to our channel title.... and we're moving soon, you'll have your choice of room! hahaha (and we'll hopefully have an even nicer kitchen to show you round). x
Wow this must taste amazing :)
+Mac B Bakes The Cakes It is one of our favourite comfort foods! Try it, you'll love it :) x
+Totally Sacha i will :)
