Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near
      -Isaiah 55:6
A number of years ago, I read a story about a man who set up a nativity scene on his front lawn, but some vandals came along and stole the baby Jesus. The man was quoted as saying, “They’ve taken my Jesus, and I don’t know where he is.”
I thought, “Sir, those people did not take your Jesus. They took a plastic figure, probably with a light bulb inside, that’s a representation of Jesus. But that wasn’t Jesus.”
We can’t lose Jesus, but sometimes people lose sight of the real Jesus, especially during the Christmas season. Of course, we have responsibilities, families, and things we need to do, but let’s find ways to share the real message of Christmas. It’s easy to transition a conversation to what the Christmas season is really about: the birth of Jesus Christ.
Let’s not allow the busyness of the season to crowd Jesus out of our lives. We need to slow down, listen to the Lord, and stay in close fellowship with Him. Even if you’ve been so busy that you haven’t paid as much attention to Him as you should, He’s patiently waiting for you to return.
Jesus walked in our shoes, breathed our air, died our death, and rose from the dead. Is Jesus Christ living inside you? If not, I hope you’ll soon believe in Him. He wants to forgive all your sins. He wants to be the Lord of your life, not just at Christmastime but every day of the year. He’s an everyday Jesus, and He’s here for you right now.
Jesus, who was born in Bethlehem, died on the cross, and rose from the dead, is standing at the door of your life and knocking. If you’re not sure that he’s living inside you, will you open the door and ask Him to come in?

In addition, when you learn Japanese, you become not only proficient in the language but also gain an insider view of the culture. Understanding the Japanese work ethic, their business etiquette, and knowing which cultural faux pas to avoid can often make or break an important business

I have been using MochiMochi since your previous about the app and I have to say that it's a really cute and helpful app. Believe me, it will help you to memorize vocabulary better thanks to its "golden time" feature that is like a friendly reminer everyday. Also, I love the cute and fun art style. It really makes learning Japanese seem more like a fun challenge rather than boring work. Mochi is especially useful for people like me who hate learning Kanji. Feel very lucky to know your channel and MochiMochi app. 🥰

Learning Japanese will help you to appreciate your own culture as well as your own language because it improves your communication and cognitive skills. Accessing a culture that is very different from yours will heighten your awareness that cultures and languages vary.

    • @GenkoKenja
      @GenkoKenja Рік тому +3

Totally agree, but this is true not only for Japanese….but any language…..you can’t truly learn any language without being involved in some way in learning about some aspects of the culture of the people that speak it….
lol not sure why but also about a year after starting to learn Japanese I kept making the simplest mistakes when speaking English for some reason…it eventually went away….but I thought that was a bit weird… learning Japanese (or a similar language that is very different from your own mother language) will also make you appreciate your own language as you already mentioned…..I used to take English and Spanish for granted and think to myself “Why doesn’t everyone ‘just’ speak it?”…but when I first started learning Japanese a few years back I definitely understood the complexity of learning a language….specially one so different from your own…

Top-notch video! Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot's Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.

I can see how I improved with listening skill compared to before when I just knew basic words. But I can’t really improve much with my speaking skill. I can’t really understand how they can form a sentence? how it make sense? And Japanese Grammar in overall. Also being shy to speak, being afraid to have mistakes and panicking when I try to speak with other nihonjin is also the hardest to overcome lol

Hi Ruri I'm enjoying the app a lot! heads up, learn to read hiragana first! After opening the app for only the second time to review my first lesson from the first time I opened the app, I noticed how much it helped me with vocabulary. The way you must input your answers to review questions is great and probably the most crucial part of any app you use to learn Japanese. See for yourself and you'll understand what I mean. I highly recommend this app!

Hi.Thanks for all your interesting videos.
I watch your videos to learn english.
I'm interested in the field of meta-skills and writing a book about it.
One of the items was related to learning efficiency, and I'm wondering if I can apply those skills to learning English.
Your contents are so great. I look forward to seeing more videos.

I am still a beginner y Japanese because at one point I lost motivation and took a long break. So when I got into it again I was basically having to relearn everything. In college while we took notes in class I would write the hiragana and katakana alphabets down in my little notebook because I was so focused on memorizing the alphabets and being able to write sentences down and read them properly. And I would spend hours doing it. As a visual learner it’s necessary doing these things. Especially if it’s more than just wanting to watch anime fluently without needing subtitles. Another thing I would do, is at night when I’m sleeping it setup my own anime story with imaginary characters having conversations. What they would say from what I heard from watching previous animes before bed. And try to piece together the convos they’d be having in the current situation they are in. Again it’s similar to what she was saying about talking to an imaginary friend to practice. One last good way of practicing Japanese, is speaking it out loud to yourself. In a mirror or while you’re doing daily activities. I often like to talk to myself a lot when I’m gaming or animating. So instead of talking in my main language (English) best way to do it is to practice speaking to yourself in Japanese in your daily activities.
