One of the most badass things about this, is when the space marines were being kidnapped you see a black cloud slam into the creature. Back when the Inquisitor was spying on the orbs and gave the command for them to retreat, he was the one with the black smoke radiating off of him.
So either before he was getting possessed or after he was given the emperor's mercy, he lashed out against the creature and forced it to let the marines go. Death isn't the end of duty, it's just another beginning. One of the moments when an inquisitor isn't shown to be purely genocidal.

I think the most impressive detail that carries through is the battle damage to the sergeant's armor - he's the one that took the laser barrage and from that point on his armor is pock marked with indentations and burn marks, then he has the optics in his helmet damaged by the psychers in part 4 and in part 5 you can still see the out-of-place sensors still operating as the door opens. Little bits of detail like that go a long way.

    Some key things:
The giant robot missing a leg they encounter: one of the "Men of Iron". In the ancient past of the story behind this genre they were a series of nearly unkillable sentient robots that came very close to wiping out humanity. There were men of gold, silver, stone, etc.

The inquisitional psyker was eavesdropping on the conversation between the orb entities, and broke his concentration to warn the astartes about the orbs plan to abduct the marine squad.
Unfortunately the lapse in concentration gave the warp the in it needed to possess him.
As soon as that happened, the psyker became an existential threat to the ship they're on, and the captain and veteran marines next to him did exactly what they were supposed to do, put him down as quickly as possible.
    Emperor's peace upon him.
Then, after they were abducted, the creature holding them evidently disturbed some other warp creature and it was forced to release the marines, unfortunately it seems as though that shunted them through the warp somewhere...else.

    1. The dudes are the creator's own unique chapter and they are dorn babies who like to work with the inquisition and operate in independent strike groups and work with Death Watch
    2. The conflict is similarly made up but pretty typical of what one would find in the 40k universe; planet/system goes rogue and the Imperium has to apply feet to nutsacks and remind them they fucked up.
    3. The Inquisition is involved because the rebels were apparently worshipping/working with the orb aliens and the big golden body was suppose to be for the orbs because they use them to protect themselves from the dangers of the warp
    4. The inquisitor on the ship is eves dropping on the conversation between the one they have and the one the marines just captured and gets possed while trying to warn the Marine Captain and promptly gets bonked on the head for it
    5. The one other ship was going to do something until a warp creature kills it
    6. Marines wind up on what may be the alien's homeworld (question mark?)

The space marine chapter is called Retributor Astartes and xenos are fan made by the creator, but one thing to note is these are a successor chapter of the Imperial Fists or as they are famously known as: The Sons of Dorn...
But the xenos are similar in appearance and behavior of the Yu’Vath, an ancient Chaos-corrupted race with little known about them besides them using foul dark sorcery and having created many dangerous artifacts. There are perhaps even remnants of the once expansive race that once inhabited the Calyx Expanse, which the Imperium began exploring in the 39th Millennium.
1:56 This marine is blessing his weapon because this chapter believes there is a Machine Spirit within that powers it
    4:52 Lascannon
6:50 I would like to point out that a Space Marine “combat knife” is basically the size of a short sword or long sword to a normal human
8:23 That is an Inquisitor, who is joined by, I believe to be a Captain and Sergeant respectfully.
8:55 the presence of the Warp or Chaos causes the environment to grow colder. Seeing ice is a bad sign.
9:30 The whole room is filled with the same masks and spines the Psykers were using, perhaps as a form of initiation/creation of these Psykers by the very xeno scum on the ship, to grow their cult and power.
10:09 In case it’s not clear, the xeno is trying to corrupt them with the Ruinous Powers which they later call their “touch”. But the Marines prevail because they are that damn glorious.
10:50 I don’t actually know what these are that the Sons of Dorn are placing into this xeno, but I believe it is meant to inhibit the xeno’s psychic abilities
11:38 the conversation between the two spheres goes as follows:
“Who is there?” (They know the Inquisitor is listening in)
    “I have failed, brother...”
    “We have all failed.”
    “The Astartes deny our touch.”
“You must return, break your seal!”
    “Impossible, we’ll never survive!”
    “You must, _T A K E T H E M!_ “
The Inquisitor warns the Captain immediately but loses his concentration.
Allowing the foul xeno to attempt possession, which goes poorly because the Captain and Sergeant give him the ‘ole Commissar Treatment because he failed his Perils of the Warp check.
12:44 his brother tries to warn him but it’s too late...
12:46 the true form of the xeno scum
13:00 the sphere is sucking in all the Marines into the Warp
13:16 He rolled a 1 and suffered the Gets Hot penalty from the plasma pistol, losing his hand in the process
14:05 A Marines blood is meant to act like that since they heal fucking fast and the Warp really fucks up any normal beings insides with the exceptions of daemons and badasses like Kaldor Draigo.
14:10 it appears his chapter still practices the use of Service Studs which represent how long a marine has served the Emperor. The years he served depend on the material. The most prominent chapter to still continue the use of Studs are the Dark Angels.
This marine has served for over 200 years if going by Dark Angel standards or 120 years going by Soul Drinker standards.
14:25 there are little flashes of light on the pillars meant to represent the other marines, I think.

The two psykers in P4 are apparently around Delta-class. Beta-class can do things that make these guys look like kids, and Alpha-class are like demi-gods that can enslave entire planets full of people and rip holes in spacetime.
Telekinetics and force fields are parlor tricks in 40k, at best they give you a little extra survivability on the battlefield. Most other "psyker" characters from other franchises wouldn't last all that long. Although I've often thought of how Anakin would do in 40k. Episode One: The Troopers Prepare to Unload
As the author pointed out, it is about the uprising of the Argos system that occurred in 482.M39. To suppress the riot, representatives of the "Retributors" order, which the creator of the series came up with (if interested, will tell you in a separate article. For now, you should only know that this is a "daughter" of the Imperial Fists order). Only five fighters are loaded into a shuttle as part of the series and sent to administer justice in His name. We see one of the Astartes fumigating a weapon with incense (I'm not sure if this is canon, I don’t remember that. What is your opinion?), We see the silent determination of the five going aboard.
Series Two: Landing and Beginning of Hostilities
Well, how is the landing. The name from the old meme "I'm entering a construction site" is more suitable for this ram: a shuttle at full speed flies into an enemy ship (after turning off the engine room with a sacred dose of cannon fire). Then immediately an awkward firefight begins on the part of the defenders (who it is is not yet clear) and competent firing on the part of the "retribution". Clearly, quickly, without emotion or fuss. The first line of defense is destroyed, the paratroopers continue their offensive.
Episode Three: Action On Board, Unstoppable
At the very beginning of the series, some tall humanoids (fu, xenos), like brothers, slap the rebels running towards the Astartes on the shoulders. Who move forward without encountering obstacles. Then the enemies decide to use heavier weapons, changing the caliber. And ... it doesn't help, the thick power armor does the job just fine. It is also important to note a certain round hatch shown at the same beginning behind the backs of the "skyscrapers". He will be featured in the series later.
Episode Four: Infernal Cut with Psykers
The fact that these are psykers becomes clear almost from the very beginning. With the help of their abilities, these guys stopped the bolts, psychic energy flows through their "wire" in the form of a human backbone, to a heap they were able to fight back the Astartes. One was even damaged the visor lens on the helmet. What was the bill? 2: 0 in favor of the landing. Became 2: 0.001 approx. The Emperor's Fist assembles in front of the Series 3 hatch.
Episode 5: What's going on here?
Well, let's go, right in the details. The episode begins with two Imperium ships hovering in orbit. The author takes us inside in order to show that the paratroopers are carefully watching what is happening with the rebels on the monitors. As soon as the squad enters the hatch, the veterans (why veterans? Pay attention to the first gif in the article. The right shoulder pad has an image in the form of a stylized Terminatus Cross) in orbit enter a closed hall, in the center of which a relief sphere of impressive size hangs on chains. A certain representative of the Inquisition (possibly the inquisitor himself) is connected to it, theoretically belonging to the Ordo Hereticus (the symbolism is similar, but this is just a theory). What is he doing? God knows. Either he is trying to contact, or to hear something, or he is just chilling (no).
If you completely dig to the smallest detail, then behind the first sphere on the ship, where the representative of the Inquisition sits, two spheres - the second in the blurry background behind the first, also hangs in chains.
Meanwhile, aboard the Rebel ship, a group of Astartes in full force pass through the hatch, meeting on its way a stationary metal colossus without a leg, in the interior of which endless myriads of wires are visible. Around the statue (is it a statue?) There are similar metal masks with ridges that the troops had earlier snatched from the psykers. Further, the author shows us a hall where exactly the same sphere hangs as on the "orbiting" ship. The five warriors stand around it (having previously stood before the psychic onslaught of the object), and in turn stick some wunderwales with the symbol of the Inquisition on the body. And ... we're transported back to the Astartes "base".
You see unique footage: this is how the author presents the "vision" of the psyker. A representative of the Inquisition observes the dialogue of two spheres, one is very far away (the hold of the rebels), the second is close enough to the uninvited listener. And ... we have our first speech on the show! My English, let me remind you, is Kuplinov Edition (and here the conversation is generally shitty), so I used the help of a blogger from UA-cam. So, the dialogue of the far (D) and near (B) spheres is very approximate:
    B: Who's here?
D: It didn't work out for me, brother.
    B: Nobody succeeded.
D: The Astartes rejected our touch. You must return, break the seal.
    B: Impossible.
    D: We must survive!
    B: They should. Take them!
The Inquisition spokesman turns his head to the veteran and yells for them to urgently evacuate the squad from the rebel ship. These are the last human words of an unnamed psyker. The sphere on the "base" flares up and, apparently, takes root in the head of the poor fellow. He catches a non-childish arrival, within which he sees the figures of the same psykers that the Astartes recently killed, and the paratroopers standing on the hand of a huge terrible statue. They burn alive the next moment. The movie for the messenger is over, something begins to take over his body (screams of horror, burning eyes and mouth, remember?). The veteran, again without unnecessary emotions and doubts, acquaints his armored fist with the face of a sufferer (beautifully, effectively, but ... why?), His partner thrust bolts into the psyker's body. And we move on to the rebels.
The third sphere (which is the second, but it is the third, judging by what the author showed us) sucks in the marinade. One of them (with a damaged visor) manages to aim his weapon at the ball's belly, shoots ... and rips off the fucking brother's hand. Nothing will heal, you just have to return home. Then the armless man finds himself in some kind of herabor, wandering around it and brushing off the tentacles. Bang! And he is already in a different place, with large statues sitting on thrones (or maybe not statues). Throwing away the helmet and vomiting notably ("I hate, b ** h, portals!". Geralt (s)), the survivor looks around. In addition to tens, even hundreds of monuments, the paratrooper sees an endless desert. The curtain!
Interpretation from the author and the English-speaking community
The population of the system fell under the influence of the xenos, becoming their puppets. Psykers slain by Astartes are aristocrats who carry iron masks and spines to enhance their abilities. The statue, lying without a leg on the ship, was supposed to become a container for that very sphere, its body, so to speak. The landing party acted so dashingly and quickly, because they knew what to do: two spheres on the "orbital" ship were witnesses to this. The inquisitor spoke with the still alive, tk. the one in the background is dead. The Rebel Orb did not attempt to stop the warriors in waves. She tried to subdue their will. But where is the Emperor? Tuti, therefore, did not fail. Herabora, through which the brother wandered, is the Warp. The warp was supposed to destroy the marinade, but something dark intervened (here it is not the author, but the fans assume that it was the spirit of the inquisitor), which threw the landing party into the desert - the dead world of spheres.

1.the retributors are a fan made chapter most likely iron hands or fists descendants from their chapter iconography.
    2. Those psykers are taken over by that yuvath orb(don't remember how to spell yuvath)
    3.warp fuckery is abound bois
    4. The inquisitor was being possessed or corrupted by the yuvath sphere so bolter it until you can't bolter no more (ps not enough dakka.)
    5. The reason they don't talk isn't cause the astartes aren't talking they're most likely on a chapter specific vox frequency you'll note grimaldus mentioned it as muted clicks.
6.bolters are wonderful things so remember light some incense and pray that it never jams literally and figuratively.
    7. The leader of the squad we follow in parts 1-5 is for the most part non-cyber enhanced (hes gonna need a new right hand man to get job done) that's just an astartes helmet it's called autosense which can literally change what spectrum an astartes can see with to hunt you down got a glimpse when they boarded the ship hence why all the spider eye lenses looking everywhere at once.
I hope you enjoyed this 40k lore for newcomers and as always rub your cyberdongs against the hull of a toast- *shoot tech priest voice modulator * ahem thanks for reading.

The Interdiction Team drop-shipped over to the xenos infested Imperial Cruiser, fought off the human confederates and the two xenos (yu'vath, as identified below) Overminds, then the Interdiction Team used the Mechanicum link-probes to connect the Warp/Brain/Sphere with a proxy-sphere on the Command Vessel in high orbit. Too bad for the Mechanicum Tech-Priest (correction: Found out that was actually an Inquisitor!), his will was not strong enough and the Chapter Captain (cloaked guy) had to purge him while his second finished the job. The rest gets a little trippy but clearly the Interdiction Team is Warped-Teleported to a planet for the finale. (mind you, this is educated guesswork)

Teleportation is not a sure thing in 40k. Also those ships are probably destroyers or light strike cruisers. The space marine strike cruiser punches well above its weight due to its good tech. The sizes of ships are all over the place due to so many writers, but the battleships are probably 5-10 times the length of these ships.
Someday I hope to see a 40k space battle animated to this level. Until then the launch trailer for the first Battlefleet Gothic Armada is amazing. ua-cam.com/video/M3w3XeHpsis/v-deo.html

the Orbs are rumored to be Yu'Vath a race of Warp Daemons they can only exist in a bubble of Warp space (hence the sphere) not unlike an Imperial vessels Gellar Field the statue was supposed to be a vessel for the Yu'Vath allowing it to interact with our reality thankfully the Astartes and the brave sacrifice of the Sanctioned Psyker of the Ordos Xenos put an end to that

Nobody really knows what the Psykers are. My personal theory is that they are mechanical puppets for the Orb. For a few reasons. For one, they appear to be missing parts (arms, eyes, etc) like the clearly not organic 'statue' in the vault. Secondly, they are clearly not Human, as they are much too large. While Psykers are capable of reshaping their bodies, it takes an exceptionally powerful Psyker. And these two are pretty mediocre as far as Psykers go, considering a Psyker capable of changing their physical form would be able to kill all of those Astartes without lifting a finger. Thirdly, unlike everything in the series except the Orbs, they do not bleed despite receiving numerous wounds.
Alternatively, they could be cyborgs. One thing is for sure to me: They are most definitely mostly mechanical.
