Frontier airlines brings their customers to the edge, of having a nervous breakdown. Then they turn it around on you, and say that you're the problem and call the police on you. In order to keep your sanity don't fly frontier. The customer service is deplorable.

Because people think they are saving money but inreality they are not. They are probably the lowest paid in the industry and by making people pay for their carryon is there incentive to increase their pay.
Well actually, Frontier is a restart of the predecessor, frontier! That ceased operations around the 1970s and early 80’s and restarted in the 1990s and is definitely not as good as the original. But all my experiences with FFT/F9/Frontier have all been great!
To top it all off, even their recruitment department is terribly unorganized. I applied and was moved thru the employment process but after watching all these videos I decided to not attend the face to face. They said they would email me 3 days in advance with my flight details, they never even emailed me, instead they called me the day before the interview and I was on a plane so I didn’t receive the call. Upon me landing I received a text message from a recruiter that they tried to call me to inform me of the cancellation of my flight and they were moving me to another flight🙄 Crazy part is I never even received an email informing me of a flight or anything. I was so confused and disturbed at the same time…I decided to decline any further interactions with this airline. Now if that doesn’t speak volumes about this company then I don’t know what will 🤷🏻♀️😩🙄
From these videos, it looks like this airline closes the door just so they can act like they are doing you a favor by letting you on “after the doors close” when it is pretty common with other airlines that the doors are closed, the flight is closed. This dude is clearly not interested in what his agents at the check in counter told these people. Never have flown Frontier and thanks to youtube, I never will. Adding to my list of Southwest and Volaris.
Ah must GARUDA airline to your list. The plane I was checked to be on, from Jakarta in '97 WENT DOWN. I missed the flight, got on stand by 2 days later. I was completely unaware of the incident. Didn't watch the news in Perth, and they never mentioned it. Not a word. My entire family thought I was dead. Indonesia doesn't have the same maintenance standards for their aircraft, but it was ultimately pilot error.

If you badger and confront any customer service rep, especially airline personnel, you’re not going to get what you want because you more than likely violated your contract of carriage that you agreed to when you bought your ticket - which nobody bothers to read. The front hold is not equipped to store suitcases - especially one the size of the last woman to turn up. But no - at least the one guy was not going to have it and was claiming he was going to go on that flight!
That’s why they have no staff. The ones they have are know-nothings because they’re not the brightest bulbs, and hey don’t invest in training. They can’t afford to with the low fares. The business model doesn’t work.
With the quality of their work, they shouldn't pay them at all. If they keep denying customers their bookings on the flights, mistreat them, delay their travel, and blatantly lie to and about them, there won't be an airline or a salary. If you apply for a job, you are aware of the remuneration and working conditions and accepted them. Can't cry foul later and abuse the public because you are dissatisfied.
Checked Luggage is supposed to be tagged and taken at the counters prior to TSA. If the belt is broken, luggage is taken manually at the counter by ramp crew to the aircraft.
This happened to me!! The whole entire system was down! They didn't give us boarding passes online. So they had to write us a boarding pass!! 15 people were running through TSA with written tickets. We got to the gate that should have been open for 20 more mins.. And they filled it with people. Everyone got to get on. But me and this mother. They separated the child and father. We were Pissed!! Because it was their fault
I remember when airlines were classy and really nice, friendly, helpful. Now they just treat us like cattle loading us in a truck. It's like you're a burden. That's why I use Amtrak. Might take me longer but you sure don't have to put up with a bunch of bullshit.

Coming from customer service, you have GOT to be on point. The guest/customer has a destination to get to. Whether it be a funeral or a wedding. Or even a family gathering. Make sure they get there on time.

I flew from Michigan to Florida, had round trip tickets with frontier. As soon as I arrived to Florida I immediately searched for a differnt airline to go back home, but unfortunately i couldnt afford the last minute prices for other airfares back to Michigan. Needless to say, I was a wreck boarding the frontier plane to go back home. The flight was much worse than the first flight!! Never ever again! I'll pay extra for a better airline next time I vacation.
First of all DFW is owned by the cities Dallas and Ft Worth. Frontier is horrible. In Phoenix I was to fly to Cincinnati via Denver. I am at the gate. The sign over gate 5 says DENVER. They start boarding and keep saying to Detroit. I finally get the gate agents attention and ask why he keeps saying Detroit: "The flight to Denver is delayed 90 minutes--this flight is going to Detroit." I go to the Departure board for all airlines: FRONTIER DENVER 1:08 ON-TIME Gate 5. The time was 1:17. My offered solution via texting (you can't call an agent on the phone): Fly out at 7 pm, sleep at Denver Airport and arrive at Cincinnati around 11am the next day--or a full refund. Refund it was. But the lesson was priceless.

what he said is incorrect as i worked for frontier via a contrator. He was wrong gate bags do get taken to gate as we have taken gate bags. I was a ramp agent for Delta and we dealt with frontier. Gate Checks are done all the time for weight reasons. He just didnt want to deal with the hassle of checking the bags. But i agree frontier needs to change or shut down as they cause so much hassle for passengers and dont follow rules or laws and think they can get away with it

The customer service agent just identified himself as a federal employee. Unless he actually took a civilian federal employee oath which all federal employees are required to take, he just committed a felony by misrepresenting himself as such. Just because the airport is a federal building does not mean that all employees there work for the federal government.
I will pay more to fly the big 3 before I fly frontier, they actually treat like a human being. As long as you don't give them any grief. I've had rude flight attendants but never had a problem with gate agents.
Frontier is a joke. They issued me 2 vouchers that I cannot use. Writing to corporate didn't help either. They need to do much better. Life is hard enough without having to stress over things out of your control.
Why on earth wouldn’t he gate check the luggage? I just flew Delta, American and KLM and all 3 airlines said their flight was full and they recommended that passengers check their carry-ons at the gate. I know they have the equipment at the gate to print the luggage tags. That 45-minute rule was bull.
Look at the immense size of the bag. That is a NOT a carry-on bag in any way, shape, or form. It should have been checked at the ticket counter before passenger cleared the security checkpoint.
one airlines policy is not another airlines policy. Frontiers policy for checked bags on domestic flights is 45 mins or boarding time and 1 hour for international researching policies makes life easier. Anything done at the gate is 99 Dollars. I just flew frontier international for around 300 roundtrip including bags and all i did was look up a damn policy. Y'all act so damn entitled and whatever the reason you are late is nobody has to let you on the plane especially if they think you're going to be a threat to the flight attendants.
Thieves generally accuse others of being thieves, similarly that agent is. All airlines in usa are the same, it is just that Frontier ranks the worst for baggage. Airlines checkin/out resembles prison checkin checkout including the molesation in the name of security. Then there is 50-50 chance of the flight getting cancelled and there are always overbooked passangers, so if you are the last 10 to reach the check-in then best of luck and if you bought the cheapest ticket then be prepared to be humiliated and dragged out even after you board and are on your seat. Drive(don't road rage) and create some beautiful memories. Life is useless except for bunch of good memories on death bed. You don't want to be thinking of the molesations, harrashments, humiliations on your eol beds. So drive, carry 2 or more pair of shoes and take pictures for sweet memories instead.

You have to drop off your bags at the counter 45 minutes before because that’s their policy to ensure that a bag makes it on to the plane. If the line is long, then get there earlier. Evidently scores of people got their bags checked.
We were in line 1.5 hours before the departure but they were having system issues which slowed their counter staff. They acknowledged the delay and told us to take our checkin bags to the gate. Even TSA cooperated and allowed us to take large bags through the security. Unfortunately this gate employee did not cooperate. He tried his best to get us in trouble however the police office saw through him and refused to his request to escort us out of the airport. I hope this employee was disciplined for falsely trying to get us in trouble and this incident helped Frontier improve.

You get what you pay for though. I've never flown Frontier, probably never will, but even with the thousands of complaints against them, they stay in business. Consumers need to be more aware, and if you can't really afford to fly, then don't. If you have an emergency, look for other options. Besides, low cost airlines really aren't low cost.
Why are so many videos of employees from Frontier and Spirit getting into it with customers? They are a cut-rate airline and they hire cut-rate people. Close them down now. We can only wonder about their maintenance.

How many times have we seen that in the last couple years? When are companies going to stop abusing their customers? When the customers hurt their bottom line. That’s the only thing to listen to. And unfortunately, frontier is in a lot of places that no one else will service, like the small regional airports like in my hometown. I can’t even get a flight to my mothers hometown, which is an actually smaller airport than mine, but it looks like now they only fly in and out one day a week. So if I go visit, I have to stay there a week. And I probably would’ve killed her by the end of the week, so I have not been to visit.

The only Frontier employees are flight crew. All other Frontier people such as bag handler, ticket agent are sub contracted and they don't care.

The customer service agent just identified himself as a federal employee. Unless he actually took a civilian federal employee oath which all federal employees are required to take, he just committed a felony by misrepresenting himself as such. Just because the airport is a federal building does not mean that all employees there work for the federal government.

I will pay more to fly the big 3 before I fly frontier, they actually treat like a human being. As long as you don't give them any grief. I've had rude flight attendants but never had a problem with gate agents.

Why on earth wouldn’t he gate check the luggage? I just flew Delta, American and KLM and all 3 airlines said their flight was full and they recommended that passengers check their carry-ons at the gate. I know they have the equipment at the gate to print the luggage tags. That 45-minute rule was bull.
Look at the immense size of the bag. That is a NOT a carry-on bag in any way, shape, or form. It should have been checked at the ticket counter before passenger cleared the security checkpoint.

one airlines policy is not another airlines policy. Frontiers policy for checked bags on domestic flights is 45 mins or boarding time and 1 hour for international researching policies makes life easier. Anything done at the gate is 99 Dollars. I just flew frontier international for around 300 roundtrip including bags and all i did was look up a damn policy. Y'all act so damn entitled and whatever the reason you are late is nobody has to let you on the plane especially if they think you're going to be a threat to the flight attendants.

Thieves generally accuse others of being thieves, similarly that agent is. All airlines in usa are the same, it is just that Frontier ranks the worst for baggage. Airlines checkin/out resembles prison checkin checkout including the molesation in the name of security. Then there is 50-50 chance of the flight getting cancelled and there are always overbooked passangers, so if you are the last 10 to reach the check-in then best of luck and if you bought the cheapest ticket then be prepared to be humiliated and dragged out even after you board and are on your seat. Drive(don't road rage) and create some beautiful memories. Life is useless except for bunch of good memories on death bed. You don't want to be thinking of the molesations, harrashments, humiliations on your eol beds. So drive, carry 2 or more pair of shoes and take pictures for sweet memories instead.

He closed the door 30 minute before departure. You can see flight and current time on the TV screen behind him.

You have to drop off your bags at the counter 45 minutes before because that’s their policy to ensure that a bag makes it on to the plane. If the line is long, then get there earlier. Evidently scores of people got their bags checked.
We were in line 1.5 hours before the departure but they were having system issues which slowed their counter staff. They acknowledged the delay and told us to take our checkin bags to the gate. Even TSA cooperated and allowed us to take large bags through the security. Unfortunately this gate employee did not cooperate. He tried his best to get us in trouble however the police office saw through him and refused to his request to escort us out of the airport. I hope this employee was disciplined for falsely trying to get us in trouble and this incident helped Frontier improve.
That rule is BS! As if their customer service! I have seen so many videos posted on their extremely bad customer service that I can’t help but laugh 😂

@@Baaqarali01 Either way boarding close 20 minutes before departure in any airline so if you dont get there on time you will lose the flight and the gate agent has the right to deny your entrance. The check in agents should tell you this downstairs.

You get what you pay for though. I've never flown Frontier, probably never will, but even with the thousands of complaints against them, they stay in business. Consumers need to be more aware, and if you can't really afford to fly, then don't. If you have an emergency, look for other options. Besides, low cost airlines really aren't low cost.
Why are so many videos of employees from Frontier and Spirit getting into it with customers? They are a cut-rate airline and they hire cut-rate people. Close them down now. We can only wonder about their maintenance.
frontier will end up having to buy their own security.. Who knows, maybe they will arm these employees to handle the imagined threat. I know plenty of cops that would stop responding to calls from abusive to the system like this.

Frontier is TERRIBLE!! You have to talk to a chatbot via WhatsApp if you are having any issues and they charge you for a carry-bag even if the bag is the size of a small grocery bag! I don’t see how they’re still in business!

They have been given ultimate immunity by their employer to treat people like crap. Somebody acts up and you don’t like it, kick them off the plane. How many times have we seen that in the last couple years? When are companies going to stop abusing their customers? When the customers hurt their bottom line. That’s the only thing to listen to. And unfortunately, frontier is in a lot of places that no one else will service, like the small regional airports like in my hometown. I can’t even get a flight to my mothers hometown, which is an actually smaller airport than mine, but it looks like now they only fly in and out one day a week. So if I go visit, I have to stay there a week. And I probably would’ve killed her by the end of the week, so I have not been to visit.
