I think what makes his armour in past films feel so real is in the first few films of Iron Man (mostly the first film) we see how he designs and builds his suit. How he tests them and tries them out. I like his Nano-Tech suit and if you watch the 3rd Iron Man you can see how his Bumblebee Suit was the start to the leading up of his nano-tech suit in Infinity War and Endgame and I like that. But I get what you mean as well his past suits feel more real and I think its because we never witnessed Stark testing designs for nano-technology.

People hate Cap for it, because they tired what you always saying Tony is selfish, ignoring the fact that he was ready sacrifice himself in every avengers movie, also Cap said what Tony is not the guy who can make sacrifice play, even though they know each other only 1-2 days, he was so selfish towards Tony for literally no reason
