24H of Spa 2024
Tijdens het weekend van 29 en 30 Juni 2024 werd de jaarlijkse 24 uren van Spa verreden. De grootste GT3 race ter wereld.
Dit jaar vierde de 24 uren van Spa zelfs zijn 100e verjaardag. "de centenary edition".
Na op zaterdag voormiddag een druk voorprogramma te hebben gehad werd om 16u30 de start gegeven en kon de strijd voor elke positie beginnen. De voorspelde regen lied langer op zich wachten dan voorspeld maar rond 23u viel het uiteindelijk met bakken uit de lucht.
Na een natte nacht ging op Zondag de race verder met nog heel wat kandidaten voor de overwinning maar het was uiteindelijk de Aston Martin van Comtoyou Racing die deze feest editie op hun naam schreven.

During the weekend of 29 and 30 June 2024, the annual 24 Hours of Spa was held. The biggest GT3 race in the world.
This year, the 24 Hours of Spa even celebrated its 100th anniversary. "the centenary edition".
After a busy preliminary programme on Saturday morning, the start was given at 16h30 and the battle for every position could begin. The predicted rain song took longer than predicted but around 23h it finally poured down.
After a wet night, the race continued on Sunday with still quite a few candidates for victory but in the end it was the Aston Martin of Comtoyou Racing who took victory in this festive edition.

What a race... great video! Nice to finally have a "normal" 24h Race with only 2h of SC because of weather Conditions, FINALLY 😂🏁

Honestly, for a moment I thought they were going to stop the race for a while with a red flag. What fell out of the sky again. It was solved with 2h behind the Sc but even then you could see that some drivers were struggling. Was a fun edition this year. But hopefully next year another dry edition.
