I understand where you are coming from because I have different curl patterns in my hair. The front of my hair is curly and the back is more wavy no matter what I do I can’t get the back sections to curl like the front.
I used to have a more loose pattern to my hair when I first started taking care of my curls. There are ways to tighten the pattern (it takes some time though!) She has a really good finger cooling video. Try checking that out and maybe that will be what gives you tighter curls!
Definitely the most helpful video I’ve seen on volume. I’ve been struggling with really flat roots and I realize im pretty much diffusing wrong. Im gong to try your tips, thanks!
Love your content! So informative for us curlies. My curl pattern used to be so similar to your before kids, strange how our hair changes as we go through different stages of life. I wish I had the magic spell to bring back my previous curl pattern.

I have the weirdest hair. The front is barely wavy and the back is super curly. Any tips would be much appreciated ❤
I would recommend not straightening your hair or brushing back for a ponytail or headband. By me stopping these things I noticed more curls in the front
Hope u found a solution already but from all the curly hair tips and videos I’ve seen Im sure u can train ur hair with finger coiling 🙃
Mine is the other way. Front is curly, back isn’t:(
@@irenemartinez1061the only thing is would say is that finger coiling "barely wavy" hair could stretch out any texture and make it stringy and straight.
Do not straighten at all, at any time. Do lots of hair masks, rotate protein and moisture each week. When you style, either finger coil or use a tangle teaser or Denman to train your curls. You have to be diligent and patient. It's a process. Check out manes by Mell, she's another fantastic curly resource and is actually a licensed curly stylist too, so that's a bonus. She tends to teach down to the science of things for thorough understanding.
Wow this video helped a lot. I have long curly hair and of course it shrinks up after I diffuse, but I still don’t get any root volume. Although I don’t have much top layers, I will try these tricks tomorrow to see if they help with root volume. I want BIG curly hair. Thank You Chloe!

Do you prefer the deva diffuser over the Moroccan diffuser ? I was curious if I should but the diva head and put it on my Moroccan dryer instead of using the diffuser that came with the dryer. Let me know your thoughts please!

I am still trying to figure out “my products”. Currently using curl Smith curl quenching conditioning wash, Maui moisture curl quench coconut oil conditioner, curl Smith moisture memory reactivated as my leave in, curl Smith curl defining soufflé, and ouidad mousse. I don’t refresh. I was 1-2 times per week. I have long thick 2c/3a highlighted hair. I deep condition every other. And clarify once a month. Any tips appreciated. Especially in my products. Thanks

I tried. I failed miserable. I’ve now got straighter hair than had I just left it to air dry. Frizzy less curls. Upset
I have wavy curly hair if that makes sense and it's short but longer than what I'm used to and I don't know how to do my hair when it's super short it curls right up no problem. But like I said I don't know how to do my hair now it seems like the roots don't curl and it just looks weighted down. Maybe I should send a pic. By the way you are as cute as a button and very funny..
