Thank you so much for taking me along on this wonderful scenic drive as well as the beautiful gardens, which must require quite a team of gardeners to keep it all looking so very neat....👏👏👏
Really enjoyed your Skye tour, the scenery is stunning and the gardens at Dunvegan were magnificent. We had three nights at the c&c site in May what a fabulous site that is! It is about time that the potholes were addressed because they are so bad! Thanks for the upload Bob.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo I think I heard you mention you were off to North Ledaig next? We had a fabulous time there too & are visiting again next year. It's a massive site as you probably know?. The laundry room has 3 washing machines but be aware only one is working. We spoke to someone about it but we're told they have been like it for two years!
We have been numerous times as we love Skye but always in winter. It’s a stunning place and you had such a wonderful clear day to drive around the island. There’s not many places in Scotland that match these stunning landscapes 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev n Sue
Really enjoyed your tour around Skye....and the Dunvegan gardens were stunning. It was lovely to see the old pics you inserted in the last couple of videos too. Looking forward to the next video already ❤
Will be up there in 7 weeks and can't wait. We probably won't have such lovely weather as you did but just being there will be enough. Great camera footage and driving, thank you.
Wow what wonderful scenery. It looked amazing. The gardens were stunning, at the start I thought it was expensive but it looked well worth it to me. Thank you. Take care Gill
This was brilliant Bob and Jenny. Skye and the surrounding area is just so beautiful especially on a day like that. Brought back some wonderful memories of family trips up there. The views around Slighachan are some of the best anywhere! Hope you have a safe trip back
love this scotland trip, we did it a few ywars ago and the Urga castle was amazing, and the drive down south from there was just beautiful, thank you for this remember our trip. we are not back home in Adleaide South Australia... Great Vvlog Bob and jenny love it thank you.
At Whitby on the coast near us, Jet is famously dug up for making jewelery, as worn by Queen Victoria. Jet is a gemstone, that is 180 million years old and is anaerobically fossilised wood of the Aracauria tree. The modern day descendant of the Araucaria is the Monkey Puzzle tree, like the one in the Macleod's Dunvegan Castle's grounds.
Ah lovely Skye! We went to Dunvegan on a drizzly day so it's nice to see the gardens in the sun. Have you been to the museum in Dunvegan village to Angus the Giant?
What amazing scenery there Bob breath taking views. Thought the pot holes where bad where we live, but they looked really bad . The gardens around the castle looked spectacular . Keep the great vlogs coming 👍👍
Currently in The Highlands, went to Skye a couple of days ago and it was lashing down, couldn’t see a thing, so your video has come in very handy! But what a drive to get there from where we’re staying at Invermoriston, absolutely stunning. Not looking forward to the long drive back to Lincolnshire tomorrow, roll on getting our MH next year 😊
We go up that way regularly on the West Highland Coast and everytime we leave, we look at the houses for sale in the area, was seriously considering a cottage in Stoer near Clachtol, idyllic, one day ?
Thanks Bob & Jenny, almost the same trip we made this May. We stopped at that layby and had lunch on the bench. We stayed at a site in Portree which was fantastic, were as the one near the Talaskar Distillary was hmmmm, strange. Thanks for the video. Brian, Jan and Fraser (the JR)
Great video with lovely weather we stayed at caravan and camping club site on skye in June loved your Orkney trip did you get your airbag fault sorted ? 👍
@@BobEarnshawMoHo we only went there for the climbing and walking, never a problem parking or camping, now it is a problem, roads in need of repair, litter and other unmentionable things being dumped by some of the vanners , I do not include motorhomes in that statement, but has I said we no longer go there.
Scotland should be one the seven wonders of the world, honestly.
I think it is. 👍
Again stunning scenery!! Aren’t we lucky with the views we have in our country , Great video and nice choice of music 👍 thanks Bob .
Thank you.
I know I've said it before
but I will say it again
you's 2 are living the dream .

Thanks, we are very fortunate. 👍

Sounds great. The potholes certainly need some attention.

Yes we went to North Ledaig, our video is coming up. It's fair to say, the site needs some attention.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Yes I agree with you it is a bit scruffy but the location is great

You're welcome
Stunning scenery on route and a beautiful tour of the gardens ......many thanks 👍
Brilliant video, with perfect weather to enjoy the scenery. And now you’ve got a new hobby with the state of the roads: potholing! 😉
Some of them looked deep enough to need a safety helmet and ropes. 🤣🤣
Lovely photography!

Beautiful scenery a lot like New Zealand but on a much smaller scale.
Yes, somewhere we'd love to visit, but it isn't a drive over a bridge. 😁👍
@@BobEarnshawMoHo yes it’s a long way and no bridge lol
Stunning
Lovely video yet again,, thank you Bob and Jenny.❤

Thanks, we we're planning on staying on Skye, but as we were so near. Think we drove past that site.

Yes we did that trip to Talisker in 2017.
Great video with lovely weather we stayed at caravan and camping club site on skye in June loved your Orkney trip did you get your airbag fault sorted ? 👍
Not yet, going to the Fiat dealer next week.
With roads like that I take it you don’t carry crockery, it’s not to good on a motorcycle but the scenery makes up for it
Only mugs in a Muggi!
That bridge has ruined Skye for me, great for the local people but now full of day trippers and rubbernecks, better places to go now.
Well these day trippers certainly enjoyed our rubber necking.

A beautiful video, again, but I think you were ripped off for £11 each to walk round the castle gardens, the maintenance left a lot to be desired. 🎉🎉
Thank you. I'm no gardener, but the gardens were beautiful and £11 was a small price to pay for that.
Think Scotlands roads are about to sink under the weight of Motorhomes 😂Beautiful scenery but August in the UK !!! Nnnoooooo😂. .
Well at least we enjoyed it in August.
Love your work Captain 👍🏻
Quick give them independence before they want up to pay to repair those roads
Yes, we know how well the roads are maintained in England.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo yes but they are our roads. But very nice video keep them coming
Thanks for allowing us to drive on the roads I’m sure our road fund licence helps out a wee bit
You mean Vehicle Excise Duty, it's a long time since the car tax went towards the roads.
The roads have been hammered over the last 4 years with mohos/caravans and tourists
