Royal Deeside is a lovely part of Scotland. It’s not difficult to understand how our late Queen, loved her time at Balmoral Castle. I particularly enjoy your trips in Scotland, being a native of the country. It’s interesting to see you at places I have visited.Balmoral Castle is a beautiful building and I know that King Charles also enjoys spending time there.I hope you have an enjoyable time in the area, Bob and Jenny.
Really enjoyed the video. We were there six weeks ago and thourghly enjoyed our visit. We took our caravan up to Scotland for the first time and stayed near Leven in Fife. Long journey for us having travelled from Aberaeron in West Wales. Did it in a few hops and it worked out fine. We are now hooked on Scotland - beautiful scenery and lovely people, can't wait to go again.
Hi Bob, Jenny and Poppy, the parking fees at Balmoral were very reasonable, nice that you can stay overnight should you wish to. Lovely looking at the river from the bridge, the kitchen gardens were lovely, beautiful colours. The Castle looked stunning in the distance. The garden cottage was really nice. The scenery around the castle is stunning. Lunch looked yum , the memorials were very touching. Wow, the flood markers were a great idea, cant believe how far the river can flood. Glad you enjoyed your visit. We did, take care x Julie and Tony x
We went last November & the king waived the entry fees for a short time after the queen died ❤️ I also did the same as you with the Flood Marks, I thought it was strange that all the storms were called “Mark” 😂 I’m glad it’s not just me, it took me a while to catch on 🤭 it’s a beautiful place, our dog seemed to love it there. Thanks, Em 💜
Well Bob and Jenny a huge Thankyou for showing us round Balmoral ! We stayed in Ballater many years ago now at Craigendaroch , we visited the area of Balmoral but it was closed to the public but we did get to go to Crathie church. So because of you both finally got to see the beautiful grounds and hear some of the history . Just fantastic, Thankyou you’ve made my day xx
Stunning scenery, the peaty colour of the Scottish rivers always reminds me of family holidays in the Highlands. Very interesting to see some of the Balmoral estate, thank you for the tour.
What a lovely day out you had at Balmoral Estate. The grounds and setting is stunning. Scotland is always my favourite tour that you do. Amazing start to this tour. ✊👍❤️
Another very informative video blog, many thanks to you Bob & Jenny, and of course, Pops, lovey walk around, looks like you all had a lovely day out at Balmoral Estate, when we were there in August 2022, it was closed, so good to see what we missed and a good reason for going back soon to coincide with when the public can get access, which we didn't appreciate at the time. Keep up the good work, many thanks again.
Hi bob, jenny & poppy, how lovely balmoral is. The lovely gardens, & the lakes with all that lovely salmon in. Ver enjoyable vlog. Happy holidays. Linda xx ❤
Really enjoyed this...thankyou so much for taking us with you. On my cycle route this morning I came across a sign which read POPPY WALK and I immediately thought of your adorable little pops. Take care❤
Blimey. There's you saying 'its a bit cold today 11c' and there's us with a minimum last night of 25c. Our respite, here in Spain, lasted for a couple of days and now we start to go back up to 30+. Dear oh dear. Enjoy the cool, we would love to have some. Enjoy Balmoral. Fantastic place
Hi Bob n jenny ,interested in your sat nav ,I know it has the caravan club sites built in, but does it also show the camping and caravan club sites also .
Thank you! I remember King Charles (aka Prince Charles standing in that stony bit of river, 🎣 fishing) didn’t Charles and Diana stand in there for a photo shoot too? I enjoy your banter, you’re a great duo 😂
We're in the Caravan and Motorhome Club and the Camping and Caravanning Club so that's a pretty big choice to start with and we use their websites. Non club sites we usually find with Google. So it's normally a case of deciding where we are going and finding a site nearby. We did a video a couple of years ago: ua-cam.com/video/TjrDxdrn0D0/v-deo.html
