During the time of waiting do not be surprised if she starts to test you or leave low hanging fruit for you to contact her (this will be non direct points of contact on social media). You have to love and respect yourself to let that shit roll off your back. Girls back off for a lot of reasons, they may get scared of how it's going, they may not want to be in a relationship because they were hurt in the past, or her friends may be single or dealing with shit from a guy and they feel guilty about how it's going with you.. The only time that I do the no contact is if she doesn't respond to my texts or calls. If she likes your photos she's liking them to either test you to see what you'll do, or who knows. Women like photos for a lot of reasons. If she hasn't responded to your messages then yes wait for her to message you. You can use the busy excuse only so many times, your friends can see your activity on Facebook, Instagram, or Snapchat. If you use that excuse be honest about being busy, you don't want her to not trust you from the get go. If she's backing away back off from the normal chit chat if you do it or have done it daily.
