Omg, this video is most need for me. You are absolutely correct how your pelvic and fascia is connected. Since my knee surgery 3 years ago. My knee never got a perfect bend shortly after I had my pop. I have been working on exercises for my knee , toes, spreading them, ankle, calves and doing hip work. I hope some these suggested exercises I will incorporate them. I also do cupping myself and this helps my fascia . Seat yoga has been helpful. Thanks so much. It will give relief so much needed.
@@nerydupage3043 that's a great idea to roll the bottom of your foot on a golf ball, or a tennis ball! I have very painful phacitios, I came across Dr. Bri and this video. After my first time doing this there was quite a lift in my step. Then the strength just follows along the pelvic through to the rest of your body. She is wonderful. ❤
I’m so glad you did this video because as an Occupational Therapist specializing in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation, I teach my clients to address the feet for the same reasons. I m surprised that this wasn’t included in any of the training I received. I just don’t hear therapists making this connection in most videos. Thanks!
When you do a walk for exercise, and dig your heel into the ground then roll onto the ball of your foot with each step, you are doing a lot for your pelvic floor. I’m almost 99 and do this every day!
EVERYONE needs to do this workout on a regular basis-feet health is so important to me - I've always had jobs where I was on my feet so in my 40's I developed heel spurs and plantar fasciitis - once you go down that road it's very difficult to reverse-- these exercises are great - your body NEEDS flexible feet for optimum health but your feet are so easy to ignore. Amazing class! I notice the feet in V like that is called "first position" in ballet and promotes lifting the pelvic floor and recently found out a FANTASTIC TIP towards that: "Feel as though you could slip a sheet of paper under the heels" said the ballet teacher and that totally helps get that lifted feeling! It's like it keeps us from collapsing into the heels but still being on them.
Start 1:56 heel lift, 3:27 both heels lift; 4:35 alternate fore feet up; 5:30 heel walk 6:00 tipping to the right then to the leftb 6:59 in vergent and out vergent edges; 8:01 toes crunching towel; 9:48 (best with socks) toes outward heels inward =turning pelvic inward, and toes inward heel outward is pelvic turns external.

I am so grateful to have found your you tube channel. All week I have been suffering with incredible sciatic and other nerve pain in my feet all the way up to the pelvic area. I put it out to the universe to find something to help me and voila! It was difficult for me to do some of these exercises but I pushed through. It was amazing! The pain disappeared! I only had a tinge of pain when I went to bed and this morning. I will do some other exercises on your channel but I'm taking it slow as I have suffered may years with this. Thank you for dedicting a channel for this.
I have had the same issue. I have recently started rebounding. I have no more pain in my feet and feel so much better overall. It's good for so many things! Have to be sure to get a good quality rebounder though. I am going to try these exercises as well.😊
This is BLOWING MY MIND because nobody understands when I tell them that when I felt something snap in my perineum, my FEET also began to hurt. Also very little sensation in my testicles and penis. I have muscle atrophy in my feet as well, more on the right side. I have discovered just recently that strengthening the pelvic floor is not the solution for me at this time. Relaxing through deep breathing seems to be helping. You are the first person, and I’ve watched many videos, , who has made a connection between the feet and the pelvic floor.
I’m so glad this information resonates with you - the connection between the pelvic floor and feet is indeed fascinating and often overlooked, and it's fantastic that you've discovered relaxation techniques are helping; keep listening to your body and exploring gentle approaches to healing, as everyone's journey is unique. 💖🌿👣
I hear you. I have many issues with my pelvic floor, including prolapse. The more i feel my bladder falling down, the more sick i feel in my liver. My skin turns yellow and metal taste in my mouth. As soon my bladder moves back in the right position, is like a miracle, my liver feels good again. Doctors have never believed me. They separate everything in the body. Also when i've tried to do exercises like kegels it makes things much worse. I've tried many exercises and nothing works. For me also feels like the right approach is to do breathing exercises and anything that relaxes my pelvic floor. Doctors think that if your organs are falling out, you need to do kegels. It doesnt apply for evryone. (mind my English. My first language is Spanish)

This was great! I can’t believe how my feet and calves are out of shape. I was getting leg cramps while doing these. I have arthritis in my feet and ankles so this is something I really need to keep doing. Thank you again for all you do!
I can so relate to leg cramps. Really affects my ability to exercise. I find relief with additional oral Magnesium, Epsom Salt baths, or even just foot soaks and adequate hydration i.e.water and salt. I also now keep Hylands Leg Cramp Ointment at hand and their Leg Cramp pills, both act right away. Mustard by the teaspoon takes away foot and leg cramps, too. I know, sounds weird but it works for me.

Hi Dr. Bri, I stumbled on your video and started doing these exercises daily a couple weeks ago. I am a avid road cyclist an part time runner. Your workout has really helped with the added strength and streatching. Thanks for the video, keep up the good work!
Thank you Dr Bri....you hv helped me this morning in a monumental way. I had surgery, gastric regression, heel spur removal and 4 plastic pcs put in my heel. So kind of you...ty!
Great explanation, thank you! As an avid yoga practitioner whose endured much pelvic floor challenges due to IBS and also has flat feet, I’ve been aware of the connection of bloatedess in my pelvis and how my knees and feet feel. Years ago I was unhappy when a podiatrist I saw invalidated my observations and questions about how my pelvis impacts me feet.
Oh, thank you. I've been wearing barefoot shoes for 5 months now and have been noticing how strong my feet are getting, and those exercises felt really nice. 💕
Finally! Searched, tried 100s of videos. Have fascia 'nest' left hip which has drawn my leg up making it short. MDs only say replace hip & don't acknowledge fascia AT ALL.. had to figure out on my. Your video is simple to do, standing 'anywhere' in quick time. tight
Those heel lifts were SO difficult and challenging. Who knew those were complicated. This workout is a keeper as my shins and hips, along with pelvic floor are challenged with postmenopause.
Loved this! I have been trying to take better care of my feet so this was just what I needed. I like the variety of movements. They looked easy but surprisingly I did feel each of them in the different areas that you mentioned. I am seeing a lot more mention of the facia. It is so incredible and mysterious :) Thanks Dr. Bri. You are a marvel!
Thank you so much for all you do! I got my first pelvic floor education when I got my Pre and Postnatal training back in 2007. ( I am a trainer) When I got asked to create a Pelvic Floor class, I was shocked about how little new information about this subject was out there, until I found you and your channel. The USA is just so sadly behind the times when it comes to pelvic floor health and women's health.
This is what I’ve been wanting for my arthritis in cartilages in top of feet which is creating dysfunction in all my body. Thank You for turning up today🙏 omg this is amazing and so beautifully delivered. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is perfect! I had 2 reconstructive ankle surgeries within 9mos of each other and now a dysfunctional pelvic floor (it doesn't know how to relax 😵💫), so this routine couldn't have been more tailor made. ~thank you~
Other foot strengthening videos I've seen only show you the exercises once and then tell you how many reps you should do, so I'm very happy I found this video, it was very helpful! The hardest/most awkward movement was lifting the balls of my feet -or trying to 😅 Hopefully I'll see some improvements soon!
Good morning Dr Bri I just did the foot exercise with u I love it I feel something move I have pinch nerve nvaricose vain I feel pain in my left leg n butt when doing it after I fee a little relief then I started feeling painall over again my heel n butt cheek . But I enjoy the work out

Internal rotation of my feet was difficult, and I can now see the connection between that and my tight hips/pelvic floor. I notice I tend towards the external rotation. Excited to know that the last exercise could really help me balance this out!
That's great to hear, Christy! Recognizing the connection between the internal rotation of your feet and your tight hips/pelvic floor is an important step towards addressing any imbalances. It's fascinating how our body's alignment and movement patterns can be interconnected.
As a massage therapist I do find that patients with low back and hip pain/problems do have either overly rigid feet or weak wobbly feet. Thank you for this video. I shall refer patients to it!
I really really love working with you on my pelvic floor issues that only started 3 months ago. I'm lazy with it and am trying my best ! So glad I found these videos.
I love this video! I would love to pick your brain. So I’ve been having a pain in my right glute for months now. I thought it was sciatica, but it’s only in my glute. I saw a sports advanced massage therapist and he told me my ankles and feet are weak. He said I need to wear barefoot shoes and stop wearing my custom insoles. I walk a little in and my chiropractor told me my right foot is more fallen. I also have a bunion on my left foot. I would love all the help from you! Do you think transitioning to barefoot around the house, barefoot shoes, and doing this video will help strengthen everything and eventually get rid of this pain?? I feel this pain when I’m doing everyday things like bending over sometimes and in the cat pose, not the cow. TIA!
It sounds like you're taking a proactive approach to address the pain in your right glute. Strengthening the feet and ankles can have positive effects on overall stability and may contribute to relieving some discomfort. Engaging in exercises barefoot, like the ones in the video, can help strengthen the muscles in your feet and ankles. Gradually transitioning to barefoot shoes, especially if recommended by a professional, can allow your feet to adapt. Start with short durations and gradually increase. Since you've received advice from a sports advanced massage therapist and a chiropractor, it might be helpful to follow up with them for guidance specific to your condition. ~ Vibrant Support

Finally! Searched, tried 100s of videos. Have fascia 'nest' left hip which has drawn my leg up making it short. MDs only say replace hip & don't acknowledge fascia AT ALL.. had to figure out on my. Your video is simple to do, standing 'anywhere' in quick time. tight
Glad it helped!
This is amazing! Thank you
Love the internal rotation! Felt the much needed release!
Internal n external pelvic floor movement is good
Those heel lifts were SO difficult and challenging. Who knew those were complicated. This workout is a keeper as my shins and hips, along with pelvic floor are challenged with postmenopause.
It's great you're finding the workout challenging and beneficial for your postmenopausal body - keep up the good work!
Thanks!
Thank you for your support :)
This is VERY good!! Not just for pelvic floor but for the feet!

Thank you for working out with me !
I come back to this video when i need it. Thank you! ❤
I'm so glad!
I have been looking for a video like this - thank you!
Yayyy! Glad you found it !
I have had foot and ankle issues ever since we moved to a house with all cement floors. Thank you for this video recognizing foot health!
Foot Health is such a forgotten topic!
This was very helpful, i really felt my pelvic floor at the end turning in and out, thank you
Thank you so much for all you do!
I am glad you found my channel !!
Thank you Dr. Bri! The importance of your fascia is the mantra of my Pilates instructor. 🙂
Sounds like you have a great instructor :)
This is what I’ve been wanting for my arthritis in cartilages in top of feet which is creating dysfunction in all my body. Thank You for turning up today🙏 omg this is amazing and so beautifully delivered. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you very much!
Excellent and easy to learn

Glad you enjoyed this exercise. ~ Vibrant Support
Enjoyed watching. I will start doing it. Thank you
Wonderful to hear !
Thank you
As a massage therapist I do find that patients with low back and hip pain/problems do have either overly rigid feet or weak wobbly feet. Thank you for this video. I shall refer patients to it!

Amazing! This workout was truly great. Thank you so much😊
Great workout and easy to do. Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
Wow you never seize to amaze me ❤🎉😊
Thank you so much ❤
Thank you very much! I’m very grateful
Glad it helped!
I also like your 10 minute pelvic floor and core routine for the morning. Would it be too much if I do both routines daily?
Combining both routines daily is fine if it feels good for your body, but listen to your body and adjust as needed. ~ Vibrant Support
This is fabulous. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you Dr. Bri's. I from Malaysia 🥰
