Great to see another steakhouse as the subject of your video. Fine dining is definitely your wheelhouse as your best content reflects the location. I’m glad you stopped to speak about the ambiance because it was noticeable about how spectacular it was. Especially with the timing - nearing sunset in that place with your signature lighting capture what was clearly a memorable experience. You always show the restaurants at their absolute best and make it so they are a must to go to. Now that you’ve shown us those items on the menu they are the first to try. In particular the steak and dessert. Being a carnivore l was happy to be educated on that particular beef you had. Will be checking into it for sure. Heavy desserts are not at all a problem here so it will be interesting to see how they end a meal in such a sunny locale. I appreciate that you spend a lot on these shoots and know it can’t always be the case. But am glad you make the effort. As always have a good weekend.
This one has such a spectacular location and definitely spared no expense with the design. Unfortunately that’s reflected in the prices but the food was still incredible. Usually places that focus so much on the ambiance are a bit disappointing when it comes to food. The steak was super interesting, definitely something we want to try again. Thanks for watching!
this place looks stunning and the food looks clearly amazing...that sweet potato looks like the ones they use in Japan, and I'm a big fan...great video and happy birthday Kristin!
I was just in Miami with friends last week wish I new about this place but we did go to Truluck's Ocean's and Dirty French Steakhouse both amazing places
Love this video. Just found you guys. Sorry about the typical south Florida nosy person/chismoso, I could tell they kept looking back at yall recording. Keep up the great work
Chillingham's Steak in Westerly RI just opened and will soon to be the best steakhouse in the state if you end up in RI it a place to check out for sure.
I think you ordered wrong and couldn’t really appreciate what was being offered to you. It is the largest wine cellar in the world with an amazing selection of aged wines from around the world. This is a food experience not a steakhouse. I always start with a glass of champagne, a seafood appetizer with white wine and then steaks with red wine. You must submit to the knowledge of the sommelier for the best experience because the wine list is overwhelming. The last time I was there we shared a chateaubriand and a strip steak ….totally amazing. The dessert room is about a leisurely finish to your meal without being rushed. You should have sent your dessert back if you thought there was too much booze on it. They also have an amazing selection of after dinner drinks that are unmatched. I have hosted a dinner party for 30 people and we all ordered from the standard menu and had unbelievable service and food. No other restaurant can pull off that kind of experience.
I’m sure by now the both of you must have picked up on the attributes of what makes a near perfect meal, whether steak or other cuisine. Curious as to these fine details that separate the best from the rest?
Where is Kristin from? She has a unique accent! I’m from Chicago and she kinda sounds like a mix of LA and Chicago…..am I even close at all? I also detect a hint of Minnesota 🤷🏻♂️
The appetizer list didn't come across as that special. I probably wouldn't have ordered one either and too bad they don't offer some sort of steak sampler platter, given the varieties. Also, I'm surprised there wasn't a regular mashed potato of sorts. Lastly, this place reminds me of Alexanders Steakhouse in the Bay Area, where there are Japanese elements throughout the cuisine. Alexanders used to have a Michelin Star but I've heard it's gone downhill a decent amount since I used to live there so not sure if I'd recommend it at this point.
A steak sampler is an amazing idea! That’s true, the side offerings are a bit limited. Really the only thing we would go back to try other than more steaks is the king crab. A few people told us that they were even better than the steaks. That’s a shame but we’ll definitely still look into it next time we make it out there!
Obviously you were at an upscale, expensive steak house. I WOULD find the thumping, pounding, overbearing disco music to be a BIG distraction to enjoying my meal. Kudos to you both getting through the video.
I am not a hater, but I hope this isn't just becoming a steak channel. Florida is famous for crab dinners - omg I love dungeness crab! I hope you had a chance to try key lime pie - they taste unreal in Florida!
@@travelfuller Great - steak videos are overdone on youtube. Joe's? Do you mean Joe Beef in Montreal? I am trying to not nag you about the videos in Canada.
Joe’s Stone Crab in Miami! Haha we’re going to try to post our Canada content right when we finish these. Hopefully you approve of where we went but either way we’ll have to go back and try a lot more!
They are so different but we liked the atmosphere and other food at Klaw a lot more. It's extremely expensive though, even making Bern's look cheap by comparison

Oh wow , I enjoyed your show! I thought you were Adam Sandler 😂
Have you been to Berns in Tampa?
We just posted a video on our experience at Berns!
So how much was the cost of your experience at the Klaw?
I can't remember how much we spent at the rooftop for happy hour but just dinner was $205 before tip

It isn’t! Other than Berns we won’t have any more steakhouse videos for a while. We made a video on Joe’s that should be coming soon!

You liked Klaw far better than Bern's I take it. Correct?
