      Tim you should keep the Yellow Pete your putting in a New Motor in it sell the Volvo Truck or one of the Mack truck. The Yellow Pete is a much better Truck than your Mack's Volvo or International Truck's are. Plus the Yellow Pete is in better shape and looks way nicer than those others Truck's. You are kinda doing it again buying things cuz you like them and then your money gets tight and you start selling your Nice Truck's that you should be keeping. Sell off the Mack Volvo or International Truck's to get some money back.

  • @sln9651
    @sln9651 9 місяців тому +9

    You REALLY need to figure out how to do flat loads legally or don't put people at risk and just pull van/reefer. 36:58. 1 strap on each of the front pallets that aren't blocked in place. Are you sure they're under 1100 lbs per? Appears to be no edge protectors on steel beams. Not enough straps on the main stack. Last strap (more needed)on the on the longer beam is lying loose and the beam is bouncing out the driveway. Any piece left flopping will like to walk out. No red flag on the overhang. An overhang that shouldn't actually exist because it could've fit on the deck.

    • @silversurfer5920
      @silversurfer5920 8 місяців тому

      Does that over hang have 4 or more feet sticking out? It doesn’t need a red flag

    • @sln9651
      @sln9651 8 місяців тому

      @@silversurfer5920 If you pull 48's you might be correct but if so, you saw that and picked a technicality to point out? I don't have any 48's or do legal loads so I'm not 100% certain as I generally skim over those little requirements that don't affect me. Logic would tell me don't be lazy and flag any significant overhang. More importantly, I can't even see where that beam is secured. I know the there's a strap hanging loose on it 11' from the end which means it's last piece of dunnage is significantly ahead of that point. Anybody that would film that for public consumption is a fool just begging for a lawsuit from any vehicle that runs over anything that should ever come off of his trailers. Properly secured in that case or not, any good lawyer would point to this video to show a pattern.

    • @silversurfer5920
      @silversurfer5920 7 місяців тому

      @@sln9651 I mean it’s a 48 so it just doesn’t need a flag in this case. Securement could be better at the end for sure. I didn’t even know they did flatbed loads there. First time seeing that on here.

    You don’t think that brokerage firm got something out of the deal with that meat overage? You can bet they did yet they are trying to screw the carrier over. I’ve seen it all too often! Truckers need to bond together and put and end to brokers or get them to lessen their take of the delivery by a lot and give more to the people actually doing the real work. Big trucking companies also working to put the smaller companies and owner operators out of business completely as well.

    I only see 2 options because the trailer isn't available for storage once the BOL is signed. Quick call to the broker to determine one of the following. Return to shipper, which would be the same rate to haul the overage back. Or trucker disposes of the product. What am I missing?

    Beef loin
    Beef tenderloin has a few other names, including fillet, eye filet, and tenderloin steak. Because it comes from the loin primal cut of the animal, some also refer to beef tenderloin as primal steak or loin steak.

    Tim - a suggestion
    Find the most expensive items people buy that are shipped by truck and try to obtain the exclusive right to ship them from the manufacturer of the product shipped.
    Start small with them.
    Add dedicated fleet as the $ comes in from these runs

    • @sln9651
      @sln9651 9 місяців тому

      I can't believe nobody commented on this, so here goes.
      Start Small with an exclusive contract? That's not how this works! For that you need volume and to provide volume you need a lot of bloody money. Even if you had those parts taken care of then the only way to get into a shipper of significance is to beat out the current company by a considerable margin. Which means you not only won't make any money but you'll also be driving the rates down even more. So the reality is that Tim isn't going to change the trucking world like he says and with the stuff he's showing I'd consider it a small miracle if he lasts through this downturn.
      BTW If you haven't noticed Timmy is at a significant proximity advantage to a large manufacturer of the most expensive toy most people will ever buy. So your suggestion is proven wrong buy Tim himself!

      @sln9651 9 місяців тому

      @@bobrohrer2501 Please recognize that "I know it works" is different than I know it worked. That involves building a massive bridge to fill the gap in volumes. If you were able to pull that off then serious luck, intelligence or both were involved. So far on Gentry and Sons the only evidence of either of those being present resides in the fact that he hasn't killed anyone with his lack of knowledge or care for the laws and rules in trucking, yet...
