@@Gentryandsons so, giving an honest opinion makes me a hater?? You must not deal with constructive criticism very well. As a creator on UA-cam, are you happy putting 32 min dash board videos out? Do you call that quality content? Is that the next level? Or are you making videos just to make videos? Tim, if you would get back to the roots of your channel, doing cool stuff with the burnout truck, actually STARTING and FINISHING truck builds, just do the things you say your gonna do, you’ll never hear one negative word from me. I unsubscribed a while ago, just because of those reasons, and I know you probably dont care, but the algorithm keeps putting your videos on my feed, so I mostly just skim thru to see if you actually are doing something worth watching. I don’t hate anyone and just wish you do the cool stuff you used to.

Man, its hard to beat a old school 'yota with a 22r or 22re... Love those motors. That whole series of engines from the 18r to the 20r and onto the 22r and re's is damned hard to beat for durability, parts availability, and being easy to work on. Definitely one of the most legendary engine platforms of all time.

Your Spray painted radiator an intercooler is your problem an its a big one!!!!

@@glens2036 yah the 379s have one on the fire wall and one on top of the radiator, the one on top of the radiator was the issue

i had a 83 with a 22r , they are great on fuel , and a 1973 st celica with a 18rc that was a cool little sporty car and bullet proof ! it never died ... amazing reliable !

Mick the truckie from Australia here. I think Raven would sound better than crow. Wish we could have the big rigs like you have but we have tight lenght restrictions. 50" bunk is about as big as we can go.

Brother that storm was rough they held our youngan over an hour up Morgan Co. Tress down everywhere and power out she went with me to mow yards Tuesday.
The main cause of high egt temperatures is over fueling the engine for the amount of air entering the engine. Boost leaks are very common cause of high egt temperatures.
The 389 should be called raven.

For the Intercooler go air to water with a copper core air/water are more stable and copper twice as effective as aluminium.
But you could do custom units with vents/scoops on sides of hood etc

It’s almost like this channel is all about being an insurance claim magnet… lol , I’ve never seen one person have so many disasters, from the house flood, to tractor running over brand new truck, to shop burning down, to tornado drops tree on truck, and those are just the big ones., in the past year or so… this guy actually has either the worst or the best luck ever depending how you look at things..

I’m a cat man still am but we’ve got a 389 with a 12.7 and it got 10 mpg on the dot from Kentucky to Maryland bobtail and 9.5 or 6 back pulling empty hopper but still it’s amazing how good fuel mileage it gets
389 definitely needs to be named crow and also needs a few cab and sleeper lights

Put a aftermarket air to air on it...I had the same issue with 3406b..Pyro stayed in the corner when on a hard pull..put that new air to air on solved that problem

One of the things I like about Western Star trucks is the full size door in the sleeper. You can escape in the event of an emergency.
