- With the announcement of Hot Pursuit Remastered and the release of Beat 510 Trailer, it is the perfect time to go back in time 10 years ago when Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2010 was released and showcasing this BMW M3 GTR mod by DGIorio and DLC events which the PC version did not get.
Let's hope they made some good improvements for the Remastered!

IsuckAtDriving was never a game I was invested in honestly so I'm not too hyped but given the fact that a lot of people seem to love it, I can't complain. At least this time they've tried to give people something good, even if it's the easiest way to do so.
Fun fact: You can Emp the Helicopter if you’re fast enough to keep up with it
When you want to EMP the guy in front but it aims at the Helicopter instead xd

Unpopular opinion, I enjoyed this way more than the other NFS games, and am really happy to get this, just hope they actually add some modern game flair to it.

Agreed, this was one of my favorite NFS Games, probably my favorite. They just need to make it look better. But it is hard improving on perfection
Screw the naysayers, they're blinded by Underground which is not a true NFS. THIS is the true Need for Speed experience. And yes, the EMP and spike strip sounds are traumatic!
@@rosaria8384 I wouldnt go as far as to say that the Underground series wasn't NFS, it was more like a NFS focusing on a certain theme for a while then switching it up. They do it every 5 or so years

Fr, it sounds like the car is about jump into hyperspace, and the fact that dispatch is saying "we are detecting a power surge from the suspect" makes it even better.

man i loved this game. I used to pretend I was on a popular world wide tv show that dealt with professional drivers competing on open roads with ai driving the regular cars on the road (kinda like a civilized Death Race). Other professional drivers challenged us with the police vehicles to create high octane content for the viewers. The commentator would patch in to see what the drivers on this island were up to for certain episodes and the event that you would be doing would be the episode you'd star in. Man, my imagination was lit lol.

I just loved the sound atmosphere, graphics, the cutscenes of cars and takedowns, the control and physics of control, and police and heli chases. This HP does not need remaster, it is already what it is.
The remastered contained all exclusive DLC contents from old consoles, cross-play for multiplayer online and added several new features such as custom colors and wrap editor. More to come in post launch.

Someone should make a mod making this M3 GTR faster. NFS Carbon's version with Extra Option's "Disable rev limiter" option enabled makes this car go 280 mph.
I mean the exotics in carbon could hit 280 with certain combos of upgrades
This car repalces the non-GTR M3, which is a rather low tier car. It's visual only I think.
@@Mernom It is. I have this mod actually and it replaces the E92 M3. What I envision as the "280 mph M3 GTR" would feasibly be simply replacing one of the exotic tier cars instead of the E92 M3. Maybe replace the Mclaren F1 since that car's engine is made by BMW.

Sad that the M3 GTR is just a reskin of the E92 M3. Imagine it actually handles as good and goes as quick and sounds as amazing as the real deal!

@The Legend 27 Returns to UA-cam HP2010 does have open world. They just didn't do anything with it. They finally got open world right with MW2012 having cars to find, collectables and cops. I used to go on tracks with friends online on HP2010 that had some missing barriers to do free roam chases with them. Free roam could have worked on this game too as when you do that glitch or do the free roam chase events road blocks and helicopters called in still worked. If you got out of the track on one of the Lamborghini DLC events, you could have AI cops chase you. They just couldn't turn around if you did, but they would respawn ahead of you if you turned around once you were considered to be going the right way again.

Shit rubberbanding, having to drift through the most gentle of corners, don't need Burnout mechanics in my Need for Speed game.

Because it feels way more like a Burnout game than a Need for Speed. That's the main reason why it's so hated, next reason being, it did no justice to the last HP title Hot Pursuit 2, which was amazing..
Oh and the driving model was terrible, as someone before mentioned, "having to drift through the most gentle of corners" describes it quite well

He was actually playing extreme underdog. The mod replaces M3 E92 which was in tier 2. His opponents were with tier 5 cars.
The Hot Pursuit games never had any custom upgrades
It does makes sense due to what is was in most wanted. However wrecking one of those ultimate series police cars would equal Razor's bounty financial requirement

The rubberbanding is programmed to encourage fighting and evasion... not going first...
so if you fall behind because you have to dodge EMP by brake-check... you can catch up

This is still the one of the best need for Speed. I'm glad they remastered it. But also sad that they couldn't make a better game since.

Great work. Makes me want to re-install some of my old Need For Speed games. Amazing the AI drivers in McLaren F1's, Koenigsegg's and Bugatti's can't pass a BMW that's limited to 201mph.

NIIIIIIIIICCCCCEEEEEE. Got this in my Ps3 right now. Totally playing it later. My daughter loves watching me play, she gets so excited and I can see why. Watching this gameplay was very fun. I made the weirdest sounds and had to rewind for the turbo sound. Its so scary but thrilling to hear.

Call me crazy but I kinda wanna see some high-level runs from you again in HP Remastered just like back in the early 2010's. Minus the trance music because, well, Content ID and all that.
I love when you use the jammer, the game boosts the car sounds. I do that for no reason in tunnels :D
