Well I guess he figured either his skills were being wasted in the Department and that he could make way more money as a Street Racer. Or maybe he was already corrupt and into some shady dealing, and was in danger of being exposed.

@@hewhobattles8869 I think he was one of the minds behind that Hudsen Tech merchandise: that guy was responsable for stealing the SCPD tecnology and sell it to the Street Racers. However, at the moment he finally gets discovered, he tries to make a run from the station, but he gets busted. At this point, the street racing in Seacrest County would start to downfall, now that the racers didn't have any more new info about the SCPD strategies and upgrades.

This is a remastered version of 2010 videogame Need for Speed Hot Pursuit that was released in November 2010 by Criterion Games.
That 1st bust was so insane that the song perfectly fitted to the crash.
This game is so old, but its still one of the most beautiful racing game today. Hard to believe, right?
