  • quick video on how i adjust my coilover suspension on my cheap budget 2003 mercedes CL55 AMG. this technique works for pretty much 95% of the coilovers out there on all types of vehicles. Hope this helped.

    Both of the lock ring nuts are at the bottom locking the shock body. Only one lock nut needed there. The top nut should be locking the spring perch to keep it from turning lower and lower and lower!

    You should put anti seize on the threads on all your coilovers, to make readjustment possible in a year's time if needed.

    I finally pulled the trigger on Yellow Speed .. How did you disable the RED ABC LIGHT on the dash?

      Awesome to hear! I never turned off the red one. But by pulling the fuze 9 on the driver side fuse box should take care of it.

      Yes. I will be doing the front sway bar. It will be a challenge because its not easy installing them. i believe the front under frame needs to be removed and will require some slight mods to the location. but that's what us car guys live for, right?

      The front sway bar is actually easy to install. It’s the back that’s a little harder to install. I have mines on aftermarket air suspension. Having the front sway bar makes a huge difference. The back not so much but it’ll balance it out a little. Ride quality is pretty good. Abc is more comfortable but expensive to repair. Abc strut goes bad and it’s $500. I blow a bag, $60. Glad I found your channel. Subscribed.

    Hello, where did you get those coilovers from? I have a 2001 CL500 and I got my coilovers from Strutmasters

      You have to order them from yellow speed racing website and allow them 3-4 weeks for delivery. They are way better than strutmasters because they are adjustable and they're vehicle specific.
