so glad u are back making tutorials! this was so fun to follow along, i animated the rotation values at the end to make it even more trippy! love ur work
Nice tutorial....My notes: make sure you use a square image, I tried at first with a rectangular image and the rotate went askew! Also for some reason I had to offset the Y Pivot Point on my Geo's to 0.5.
please can someone explain why that 0,5 scale in the fit corresponds to dividing the width by 1000 in the automatic zoom but if the fit scale became 0,4 then the divide is by 1250, I'm really confused
@@janniboy2766 Thanks! I tried that initially but I thought the outcomes of this approach looked nicer. You could totally build a CMYK setup with the same technique though!
amazing how I have an idea, google it, and someone has already done it. thank you for all your tutorials that have started me on touch designer 🙏🏼

Amazing work bileam! Very useful patch to have in the bag especially when you think that you can render the halftone in layers with different depths 😘

Thank you for adding your mouse display!! Huge help for following along (:

My results are always favoring green for the grid, where your's changes hue with each new movie/picture input. What is the solve for that?

Wouldn't it technically make more sense for you to instance 4 points and make them CMYK ? youknow to go with the halftoneprint effect ?
But regardless... Amazing Tutorial! You break down things very understandibly and the projects are always amazing :)

I might start turning off the network grid, it looks clean without it.
