I had the privilege to interact with Mr Bruce when he worked at Brockway Standard, I use to feed him sausage biscuits every Thursday morning, what a guy... His office partner and maintenance supervisor were my buddies!! Mr Winston, love ya!!
It’s going to be a premiere of a full length video. Spent the day with him Saturday. I think he’s planning on dropping a video too. Tune in and enjoy. Hoping to have good crowd on there for the premiere. Also hoping to send a bunch of folks Seth’s way. What a hardworking, cheerful and talented young man. It was a good day!
Yeah I’m not sure I have ever met a more positive person than him. At least not is awhile. Just “high on life.” I need to catch a little bit of whatever he has.🙂😎
Love the idea of having nothing to do all day but go from box to box. I get into the zone so strong that is all I want to do! I look forward to having to do inspections 6 days a week and probably going through my home colonies on Sundays!! It’s all about growing this season! Lot of splits coming.
Not sure really just enjoy these types of videos where people travel to work with others .. like you get to go there thru the video.. if that makes any sense...
@Bruce, you need to get Seth to show you how the grafts queens, his is master of the art, he was getting 95% takes when he first started grafting for Bob.
Bruce, those were some calm girls Seth has. I think that kind of temperament is what we all try to achieve. I know you enjoyed working with Seth, he seems to be very energetic but I guess you have to be to keep up with Bob! Great video and I hope you worked a deal to get some of those genetics in your Apiaries.
Appreciate all your videos, got one question, you asked Seth about staggering foundation between bottom brood frames, he said no put foundation in top sides. I just did a few double screen board splits yesterday and staggered foundation in bottom brood to encourage building comb, your opinion....was that a bad idea? I'm in taft,tn we've got 3 more cold nights then back to warm again. Bees are slamming boxes full with this unusual warm March
I can see the wisdom in doing it the way Seth did. I have done it all kinds of ways. If the population is high and can cover all the brood then they probably won’t skip a beat.
10/4, thanks. It's rare to find people like yall that take time to help others, I would've given up 1¹/² yrs ago if God had not answered my prayers by sending helpful people to get me on track, thank you I pray God bless you for your kindness
Excellent video as always Bruce !! I’m new to beekeeping and your videos are really helpful and very interesting especially the podcast yall produce …I’m from right here in ozark and would love to plan to visit with you soon…my wife and I just returned from Lakemont this past weekend and actually had the opportunity to chat with Bob for about 20 minutes…what a treat !!!
That is wise. I have pretty much done the same thing. Have only spent money o already had from the bees. It took awhile to build up that way but it has worked out well for me.
Won’t be long now! But my main emphasis is views and watch time. If I can create content that people want to watch , and continue to “up” my game then the results will follow. I really appreciate you for being a part of this journey with me Sebastian!
Great idea. Might be a little difficult to move as fast with a table but maybe not. The best thing I have found while working pallets is sitting on a 4 gallon bucket it bees box turned in it’s side. Helps the back and gets you closer to the bees.
Nice video men.
Thanks!

Great time. Seth has definitely got a great mentor in Bob!! A lot to learn from Seth. I grew up 45 minutes south of there.
Yeah man. Such a cheerful fellow. Fun day.
I love it when all the right questions are asked and answered. Best bee video I think I ever saw. Outstanding job Bruce.
Thanks so much!
Cool video!
Yeah it was a lot of fun. Seth is a great dude!

You’ll have to come down and hang with us again
Great video Bruce
Those where some very calm bees
Yes they were very nice. They got a little feisty when we were moving fast but overall the attitude is good.
Good video Bruce. And you took home some knowledge at the same time. Love those calm bees.
Yes. What a day!
Love your channel Bruce I'm excited to see this live chat with Seth!
We had a blast!

You both are fun to watch, I love how positive you guys are. We need more of that instead of the doom and gloom!
Yeah I’m not sure I have ever met a more positive person than him. At least not is awhile. Just “high on life.” I need to catch a little bit of whatever he has.🙂😎
Interesting to see a varroa mite on a queen!
Yep. Not sure I have ever seen that before.
Keep doing your thing! We like it.
I appreciate it. Having a blast!
Great video!
Thanks my friend. It was a good day!

Only real beekeepers endure heat and stings😁Great job. Greetings from Serbia
Haha!!! Thanks for checking in from so far away!
@@brucesbees You're welcome. Many good youtubers across the ocean. Cheers
One of the best videos you ever made imo truly enjoyed it
Hey I really appreciate it. What about this video do you think set it apart from the others?
Not sure really just enjoy these types of videos where people travel to work with others .. like you get to go there thru the video.. if that makes any sense...
It does. Hope to do more collabs in the future. Thanks for the feedback!
@Bruce, you need to get Seth to show you how the grafts queens, his is master of the art, he was getting 95% takes when he first started grafting for Bob.
I believe it. I think he is good at whatever he does.
hope you can get some nice calm bees like these.
I have some. Just need more.

Maybe someday. Super impressed with Seth and his bees. And his work ethic is second to none!

I think you are fine if population is good.

Glad you didn’t give up! Hang in there. Best wishes to you and bees

Cool stuff. We can make it happen.
Seth is the busiest man in beekeeping.
Pretty busy for sure.
102 splits! and here i am trying to go from 15 to 40 hopefully by the end of the year and maybe make some nucs to sell!
Oh you will get there. Just keep plugging! It was a good day. A lot of work but good times for sure.
@@brucesbees thanks! I'm sure I will, I'm hoping to open up 2 new out yards this season with a goal of about 10 each by the end of the year
One day, I hope to be able to afford that amount of gear. I'm slowing my purchasing down to only spending what I bring in.
That is wise. I have pretty much done the same thing. Have only spent money o already had from the bees. It took awhile to build up that way but it has worked out well for me.
Bruce I can't wait you going hit the 20 k subscribe on that day 👌🐝🐝

Will they build out frames if there’s a good flow?
Yes that’s the best time to get them to draw wax
Yes. And the thin syrup helps too.
Those ants got Seth Good!
Yes they did! They were relentless!!!
👍🤗💪💝
Thanks for watching!
Seth 👊
Yes! He is awesome. Gonna do big things!
Had supper with him with the crew at HiveLife , spitting image of my daughters boyfriend, but Tennessee :)
She is a lucky girl if he is as good natured as Seth.

Bring a a folding table. Keep the nuc on the table and save your back.
Excellent suggestion 👌
Note to self...
Great idea. Might be a little difficult to move as fast with a table but maybe not. The best thing I have found while working pallets is sitting on a 4 gallon bucket it bees box turned in it’s side. Helps the back and gets you closer to the bees.
formic is good when timing, temps is right
I believe you are right!
