So this is what I experienced. I tested them on both ps4&5, xboxonex&seriesx, Nintendo switch, Mac book, Samsung note with dongle . The Nintendo was the one with lowest audio followed by Samsung note . Mac and the consoles were really good on loudness. I do get this weird lag on my series x but I discovered it was due too my controller having a connection problem with the xbox itself. Mic wise they literally pick up everything and anything. I got a bunch of headset that I tested how it sounds in party chats. You wouldn't even know they are ear buds. If you are debating I say go for it. I picked them up for 17 dollars and I been using these instead of my over ears.
I bought the teal color version as it was on sale Amazon $19.99 Cdn. I personally use it for work MS teams meeting. My job requires me sometimes to be using a headset full day. I really enjoyed the boom mic as it allows the clear voice output while maintaining the benefit of in-ear design. Usually when I use actual headsets, my ears hurt after couple of hours used. I use them for casual music too and I find them very good for the price. I would buy them again.

I am getting 3 pairs of these for myself, my GF, and my kid to try out and just see how we like 'em. For me, the promise of good sound quality is a compelling enough to justify trying them out since they're on sale for only $20 each. And for me, I really want something I can use at my office where I can have one bud in my ear, with the mic, and have my other ear open for when people come in my office to bother me.
For sure! You can’t beat a deal like that. If the comfort would’ve been there for me, I would’ve loved these. Sadly I just have some weird ears that hate everything haha. But that boom mic on these is sick

I have a pair of Sony ear buds I’ve used for years but there’s a weird short in the wire that makes the left ear go out. Gets on my nerves but they sound great for everything. I use these on my pc. Im not getting the discomfort hes talking about but I think it varies from person to person. At least with these I dont get hot ears like from over ear headsets. The downside is the cable, I hate when i gets caught on something and pulls.
So the mic that attaches to the earbud is the boom mic. In which these work with the boom mic or without. Without the boom mic it just uses the inline mic on the dongle

Under your output settings for discord, you should be able to change the source to the 3.5mm jack you’re using. You might have multiple options if your case has one on its IO and your motherboard

bought these yesterday and never again, Firstly the sound quality isnt bad at all it has abit of punchy bass and the mic is great, but i couldnt go on more than 15 minutes of wearing them, It was causing so much discomfort in way like as if someone was shoving a cucumber down my earhole , but i guess i have smaller earhole for such earbuds, but am not saying thats the case for everyone obviously, some of you guys may have different experience

Hmm the inline should be muted once you press the mic mute button. If not, it’s possibly defective and needs to be replaced! Does the mute work with the boom mic?
anyone have experience using these for call center calls? Mainly, is there good noise cancellation? blue tooth always has "delayed" hearing/talking and I get alot of complaints hearing my background noise
Oh I would not recommend these for that. The mic is a condenser style microphone without any type of noise cancellation, so it will pick up everything in the area!

Yes you can! Just plug into the aux jack on the controller, make sure the Xbox is routing game audio through the controller, and you’re golden!

The inline control does not sadly, but thankfully with the Xbox controller you can get quick access to all of the audio controls

Nothing wrong with a good set of in ears! I would suggest maybe looking into the Cloud Earbuds or Razer Hammerheads tho!

Thanks for the idea! I sadly don’t have a Mac to test, but any headset with a 3 band aux cord should work just fine on a Mac for mic and audio!

Maybe! The mic is a TRS tape aux adapter. So as long as the other headset has that, then it should work

Hmm personally I would try out the hyperx first. These sound fine, but are very bulky and a bit uncomfortable after extended game sessions

Just a standard rubberized texture! Feels fine. The cable itself is a little stiff which is tough for earbuds

I did not on these sadly. But hopefully they’ll make a revised version and I’ll try those out/test out custom tips on them!

Reality is you never use the external microphone. These headbuds are awesome out of the box for gaming.
