I have tried different senders for my temp gauge and still inaccurate, gauge shows 20-30 degrees above real temperature (using laser thermo gun), sometimes is scary high, and I don't want to think is just an inaccurate reading then messt up my engine... Any idea how to fix this problem? #intellitronix
Make sure intellitronix sent you the correct sensor...they sent me the wrong one at first...how accurate is your laser thermo gun? And outside temp will be a different temp than the coolant passing through and where do you have the temp placed? Apologies for the late reply for some reason haven't been getting notifications
Looking at doing this to my e30 turbo build cheers buddy helped a lot!
if you have any questions ask away, happy to help!
Great video! Looks awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Awesome vide man this channel deserves a lot more love than it gets keep it up!
Interested in where you ran the wire around the front of the engine to hookup to the oil pressure sensor?
The oem wiring for the oem sensor runs around the front of the motor so I just followed the same line to get the new oil pressure sender wire there
Thanks for this video! How are they holding up?
Holding up great and work exactly as intended!
Can I get oil temp too form the same connection you used on the block for your oil pressure
Theoretically if the adapter had another port. Not sure if that is the optimal placement though for temp
Nice

@@themaskeddriver I never got the sender, I didn't know it was supposed to come together.
We fixed the problem by adding some resistance
Ya if you buy the whole set with them..should come come a sender
where can i get similar for e36?
I have seen some gauge pod holders on eBay for e36...the gauges will work with pretty much any car as long as the mounting holes are the right size
